V pritličju srednjeveške utrdbe je od leta 2009 vinoteka. Na levem bregu Drave, tik ob reki, že od 16. stoletja stoji mogočna renesančna obrambna utrdba nenavadne oblike. Great wine bar in the heart of Maribor at the river. It's a quite place but easy to find. Great wines by the glass (3 euro per glass) from the Maribor area. The setting is great at sunset with the river nearby, see my pictures. Would definitely recommend when you're in Maribor and up for some wine!

A building full of history, that must be absolutely visited if you are in Maribor. That's really a pity that is not a museum but a cafe. In my opinion, a museum would have been more interesting. However, I recommend it for taking good pictures and walking along the Drava

Maribor is a very nice city. There are not too many tourists. prices are reasonable and people are friendly. It is very refreshing to be away from tourist dumps like Paris or Vienna where tens of thousands of people follow aimlessly a guide holding on umbrella.

Lovely place to savor a glass of Riesling beside the river Drava - moderate prices, delicious wines and very friendly English-speaking service. Our dog was welcome too, which is always an amicable experience. :) We enjoyed our little break here tremendously!

Best place to try local wines. They also do tasting, great service, well experienced staff about local wines and vineyards. Atmosphere is amazing, sitting 5m from the river enjoying the view. I can highly recommend!!! Več

A place with a beautiful view of the surrounding area, there is a bar, where you can have refreshments. There is a bar on the ground floor, on the first floor there is a smaller hall for concerts or various events. Več

Old water tower that used to be part of the city wall of Maribor. The building dates back from 1555 and now hosts a bar with terrace outside. The staff that was on duty during our visit spoke German and English. … Več

Not an interesting building per se, there's a bar inside where you can drink a wine. But on the river you can see many swans, that's really nice. I bet kids like this corner of Maribor.

The bar located inside Vodni Stolp was very good. Wine was delicious and atmosphere next to River Drava was very enjoyable and romantic. Definitely recommend to everyone.
