Easily the worst cinema I’ve ever been too, save your money and go literally anywhere else. When I arrived the service was shockingly slow, but it was just one server so it can be excused. When another server joined the service didn’t seem to speed up at all, despite every machine other then coke and popcorn being broken. The server was rude. Nuff said. When I went to the screening room, that I hoped may be using air con on the hottest day ever in the UK, I was greeted with squeaky seats, no previews or anything on the screen and no air con. We waited 30 minutes after the scheduled time for the film to start and after staff were chased numerous times. During this time the guy sitting behind me was snoring away, at least he was having a good time. When the film finally started it had no sound and then it had audio description and then no sound again, rinse repeat through the opening credits. We watched the film with no air con on the hottest day literally ever. The film was decent, Top Gun didn’t disappoint. When it finished obviously no lights came on. Because the place is appallingly run. Oh and when we left the escalator wasn’t working. Awful place, promise me stranger, that you will never go.

I went to see Black Panther: Wakanda Forever near the premiere, and experienced several annoying things, making it a fairly bad experience overall. - First of, the web page didn't work properly, giving us unspecified error mesage after unspecified error message for 20+ minutes. - As we couldn't buy tickets online, we had to buy them on site, at a higher cost. - The toilets were fairly disgusting. - Half-way into the movie, some people broke in via the fire exit, walking around, talking and looking for seats. When I informed the staff of this, they seemed very uninterested, and seemed almost more annoyed that someone talked to them. - The walls are seemingly so thin that a vaccuum cleaner next door at times was heard louder than the actual movie. - There were kids (ages 10-13, perhaps) running around , disrupting fairly constantly. This, I guess, is not the direct fault of Vue, but please keep an eye on your crowds at times. On the positive side though, the seats were comfortable and the screen and speakers good, and if you manage to buy tickets online, they're fairly cheap. I still wouldn't return.

I visit this cinema on a regular basis due to the cheap seats! Where else can you get to see a film at such a reasonable price in London? The staff are friendly and helpful. So many people have commented on the decor, I agree it’s a bit shabby but you can’t expect the interior to be any better since the tickets are so cheap!! The seats are comfortable and that’s what matters when you’re watching a film. My only criticism is the lack of strip lighting along the stairs leading to the seating. It can be really dark when you’re trying to find your seat. I’ve seen people stumble in the darkness and it’s happened to me too! Most people use the torches on their phones and I’ve started to do the same. I’m hoping people will continue to use this cinema regularly otherwise it could close like so many others.

A unique entrance gets us off to a good start, but things decend gradually from here on in. We noticed the exit escalator motionless and rubbish strewn across the floor as we entered the Vue's cylindrical entrance hub. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The decor is upto scratch, the food and drinks on offer acceptable although pricey as all cinema chain food and drink is. We paid an extra pound Stirling to sit VIP. This allows you to sit at the back with more space and cup holders. We noticed one seat below us completely ripped open, not a good look. The toilets should keep with a better cleaning schedule, they were off putting to say the least.

The staff was friendly, however it’s the time of the year when a venue like this isn’t too busy to run. The fire door/exit was full of clutter, basically a Health & Safety hazard if not watching carefully where to step and they could have really hit the volume higher as I could clearly hear other viewers 3-4 row beside me. This experience was definitely just 3 stars, because there weren’t any outstanding or “okay”, neither wow factors. The reason why I choose this place because it is very local to me and given the location I was expecting that it is going to provide a good enough service to its customers to make us come back as soon as possible.

Awful experience. Bought a ticket to Spider-Man across the spiderverse as well as 10 pounds of confectionary. Got into the screen and spent 25 mins watching ads after which the sound stopped working. After watching the first ten minutes of the movie with no sound we were told the sound is completely broken and we would receive a refund of the ticket. Then had to wait another 30 mins in the line to receive the refund. Overall wasted my whole evening only to pay of over priced confectionary and see no spider men.

The staff here are soooooo slowwwwwwwwww. Definately not ideal when you are rushing to get into a movie on time. The ‘supervisors’ and ‘managers’ are even slower than the usual team members. They have no care in the world if anyone is waiting. Also it’s the second time I have had food poisoning at this cinema. After not buying food from there for 2 years, I attempted to buy some Nachos. Both me and my daughter spent the whole night vomiting. 2 stars because the actual screens are good and seats are comfortable

Our favourite cinema in North London. Great location, best prices, never any issues. Especially this Thursday, the staff were really lovely when we went to see John Wick. The lady behind the counter and the one checking tickets were sweet and providing great customer service. The lost star is for the bathrooms in need of a refurb. These really hurt the image and overall impression of the place. I've seen nicer pub or even public toilets in London. What a shame.

Went to see Mission Impossible (12A rating) A family with a baby next to me crying (no children at all should be allowed in, let alone a crying baby- how dumb do staff have to be!). People walking in 15 minutes after movie starts with phone lights on looking for their seats. People shouting at each other. Popcorn everywhere at the end. Really poor and some of the people attending had some serious parenting/ mental health issues.

I wish I had discovered this cinema sooner, since I had been refraining from going to see movies I wanted to see due to high ticket prices. Shame, but now that I know where I can see movies for just £6, I won’t have to miss out on so much. There seems to be just one automated ticket machine, and while it wasn’t busy at all when my husband and I came, I can imagine the one machine might be problematic when it gets crowded.

Once you work your way either by lift or the escalator up to the Vue foyer you see a vast space with windows overlooking the High Street and buildings and it was great as the sun was shining and lit the foyer up ! You got your kiosk for your refreshments from an array of confections from ice cream to crisps and drinks etc. You can purchase your tickets at the kiosk if not booked on line , you pay a little extra for that.

  • Anna Dolidze

Cheap cinema tickets, but that's about it... Went to see Barbie last night - the popcorn was cold and more expensive than my ticket; staff couldn't be bothered about anything at all; the film started late; the cinema room was old and worn out with very squeaky chairs. And cherry on top is that we got locked in on the way out, so people had to push open the fire exit doors to leave.

  • Paulina Gali

I was in the cinema with my daughter today (screen 3) and we spotted mice just behind our seats they were not scared of us at all and were running around and crunching some food on the floor so we changed our seats immediately and I went to complain about it to the staff. Had tickets booked for tomorrow as well but cancelled already. Will not visit this cinema ever again.

  • B D Resistance

Filthiest and dirtiest cinema I've ever visited, floors were filled with rubbish first thing you see when entering the building and getting even worse once going upstairs. VIP seats need some fixing. Customer service wasn't good either, waited for a long time to get the popcorn, it wasn't even any queue there. Get yourselves together there. Never ever visiting Vue again.

  • Viya 24

There was a mice in the screening we were in. Visited to watch Mario and suddenly before the film starts I see a mice beside my feet! It was only myself and a friend, along with a couple. Of course we ran out to tell the staff. Can't fault them, not their fault. They gave us tickets which are valid for a year to use. However, that cinema needs pest control ASAP

  • João Netto

Cinema is okay. But if there are any kids, just accept you won’t be able to watch the movie. The whole 3 hour movie, kids were running around, playing music, shouting. Security couldn’t do anything about the kids(why let them in the first place). They were running screen to screen. Cinema didn’t do anything about it, didn’t offer refund. Wouldn’t go back.

  • Lucie Eleanor Stone

Worst service I have had at a cinema, after a technical error, we were left sitting in a dark cinema for 20mins, the staff knew but no one bothered to come in and move us to another screen (where they had moved the movie and been sending people who arrived after us). No apology, we got a refund but the staff were so so rude, they barely acknowledged us.

  • Adam Pelling

The place is great and the seats are different, the movie and sound is amazing. The only problems are that the food are highly overpriced and also (occasionally) lines are really long and it is hard to enter. I recommend this but probably watch a film after the release date to avoid long lines. Lastly, bring your own snacks or buy somewhere else.

  • Jack Falvey

RATS IN THE CINEMA!!! I tried seeing Saltburn here and had to leave 15 minutes in because there was mice running around in screen 2. I told one of the staff and they did nothing about it, not even to offer to change screens. There was also sketchy people hanging out under the stairs as you go in. Will never go back.

  • Sky X

This cinema is way better that the other one at The Wood Green . There is lot of space and it is easy to fine your room number where your movie is play . As well they have good selection of snack and drinks , little bit too expensive. The staff are friendly. So many choices of moves for kids and adults.

  • Kimon Metaxiotis

Went to see a live streaming concert on Saturday. Sounds was terrible, only one speaker was on , plus they left the lights on throughout the whole show. I understand that the sound could have been a satellite issue ,but noone bothered to come and explain or try to fix the problem. Disappointing.

  • Jamal Hakeem

Suppose to upload a review but always forget lol. Anyways thanks to lauryn for the great Customer service, professionalism goes above and beyond accidentally spilled my drink and was quick enough to deal with no questions asked and was given a fresh One. The £10 tip was well deserved …

  • Eros D'Antimi

Very quiet, friendly staff. Very comfortable seat, space and handle. Screen good and good sound. Little bit chilly inside the room after while. Take a jumper with you is better. Update. A/C set perfect to enjoy a movie during those hot days. To improve the quality of toilets, very dirty(men)

  • Faisal Reza

Your average local cinema. Great value if you're booking tickets online (only a fiver!). Worth seeing any movie at that price. Plenty of places nearby to buy cheap snacks from and take them in with you. Only wish there was a bit more variety and showing of some smaller/independent films.

  • Georgiana Badea

We visited the cinema in order to watch the Mario Bros 3D movie. There were some issues with the screen and the sound, so we had to move quickly to another screen which wasn't 3D anymore. But it was fine, I enjoyed to see my children seeing their favourite characters on the screen.

  • Pamela Hull

Having read bad reviews I was a bit worried but all was good. We had fairly comfy seats for André Rieu (albeit a bit lower than anticipated), with a clear view of the screen. Toilets were clean and easily accessible. We didn't buy food or drink so I cannot comment on that subject.

  • Leon

I have had a great experience watching movies with the likes of Star Wars Rogue One here in Wood Green Vue Cinema. Cheap tickets, comfortable seats and great service. It's also surprisingly quiet, even though I had only watched new movies at this cinema. I have no complaints.

  • Bé GB

Not a very nice cinema, if you go to late screenings don’t count on the bar having popcorn. Also, no one will check your ticket and no one will clean the screen prior, so expect to watch the film in a smelly room with spilled food all over the floor. Absolutely disappointed.

  • Shelly Wills

Screenings are good but the ladies toilet are always flooded have a horrible smell and there is poor maintenance. The que for the screenings are always long you need to get there at least 15 minutes before the showing time to get popcorn or a drink. Customer service is fine.

  • Miss Larita

Brought my daughter and her friends to watch mini morning movie as part of her birthday party. The staff at the till and security lady were so friendly and so helpful. What an amazing customer service! Thank you so much, you made my daughter’s bday party is day to remember!

  • Cian McGennis

Sound didn't work for the film so it was cancelled. They refunded price for ticket but no option to go to the next showing or refund for expensive popcorn and drink. Left outside with pop corn we didn't want and forced to go to the pub. I just wanted to see spider man

  • B Berdimur

I and few friends had an awful experience yesterday. Unnecessary long queues to get snacks, we gave up eventually. Then we watched a 3hr movie and it was unbearably hot, no ventilation or AC. It was almost torture. Probably wont go this venue again.

  • Anthony Doyle

It's a decently equipped cinema, close to tube and buses. They have a low, fixed price for viewings. There is a lot of wasted space in the foyer, which is upstairs. I were them I'd open a bar or eatery and incorporate it with the cinemas.

  • Carmel Pernicano

It's a little old and tired looking and the ladies toilets always smell like a pipe has burst. Tickets are very reasonably priced and the seats are comfortable. There's rarely more than 30 people at a screening when I've been there.

  • ioanna 91

Visited today. Nice, clean place. Was impressed from Nahar’s service. She has a very positive attitude, she is friendly and she made sure to check for me if the movie I was watching had started already since I arrived a bit late.

  • Patricia Jesky

Disgusting ladies Toilets every single time I went there, the odour makes you actually feel sick!Poor customer service almost every time.Nothing changes throughout the years ,every time I go back my experience is equally bad.

  • Artwork Assist

I remember this corner area was a out door market area. Nowadays it’s a cinema complex with below stores. McDonald’s. Sam 99 p store and weather spoons. Right opposite of wood green station. Very easy to locate

  • Pawel Gumula

This cinema would benefit from deep cleaning and some basic maintenance. Screens and sound quality is good but not so enjoyable when you are surrounded by rubbish, walking on sticky floors and filthy carpets.

  • ewelina wysocka

Worst customer service ever, racism should be their name. The staff is rolling the eyes on clients.Shocking .That is why they have no clients compared to North Finchley! I would never go back there.

  • Liam Noble

dirty and gross cinema screens. sticky floors and things not cleaned up from previous screenings uninterested and unhelpful staff, very few of them to help if you was to need it anyway.

  • Amy .C

Amazing customer service. We were served by a man called John, he was really helpful and friendly. Also tickets are really affordable when booked online. Would definitely return

  • Bee

Very bad experience, there were rats in the cinema (screen 5) other reviews seem to mention there also being mice there. It must be an infestation issue. Never returning there.

  • Christian HOUEDANOU

It is fine if you have lower expectations. At least you watch the movie on the big screen. Cheap. Cons: dirty, poor customer service. The smell in the toilets is... unique.

  • Damian M

Inside its comfortable with good views of the screen and helpful staff on hand. However the entrance from the street is not obvious and it's very dingy and unwelcoming.

  • Dmitrii Zapevalov

Today there were fire. They did not turn on the light. Even did not stop the movie. We've been informed by other customer. I hope too see an improvement in fire safety.

  • Lisalorr123

The cost of the ticket was good. Customer service could be a bit more organised. The theatre needs a bit of an updating, but that won't stop me from going there.

  • Rubaiyat - E - Sania

Nice and big cinema....it is close to my place so love to watch the late night shows. Less crowds during weekdays late night. Staffs are friendly. Clean toilets.

  • Arjun Patel

Cinema was extremely hot. My party and I (6 ppl) were sweating inside the cinema watching the movie. I didn’t enjoy the movie because of how HOT it was. Get AC!

  • FITUSMAXIMUS

Not comfy at all but if you're just there for the movie it does that. But dont expect to get immersed in the movie it is very obvious theres people around

  • James L

Disgusting and traumatic experience of mice running along the chairs next to us. Vue also incredibly refuse to issue a refund for this. Won't be back.

  • Jehad Qureshi

Prices are great, staff are friendly however location is hard for parking and I feel often time there are limited movies compared to Romford VUE

  • Mikhail Andreev

Worst service! By purchasing tickets and buying popcorn and drinks you get service at level 0! There is no one in line, but you wait 10 minutes

  • Szabolcs Nagy

Every time there are people talking loud and laughing loud thinking that they are so cool. They mess up the experience for everyone else.

  • Safa Tahri

Heating doesn’t work it was absolutely freezing in there. Cinema is disgusting, so dirty and there is mice running around …

  • Marilyn Hall

Looked appealing from the outside. However, didn’t actually go to the cinema. I was just on the outside looking in. You got my drift?

  • Chris Ross

Not a good experience. 25 minute queues to buy any snacks, and a 15 minute queue to get into the actual screens. Do not recommend.

  • A G

Nice and clean place . we went to see fast and furious 9 . Kids enjoyed the slush. Snacks are little bit over priced .

  • Krisztián Kiss

Great venue, popcorn is nice, staff is friendly and never busy, so it can feel like your private screening at times.

  • Elenasaid Michael

My 3 kids enjoyed watching spiderman. Staff was friendly. Great price on tickets so affordable for family's.

  • Jenny Iles

Big place, clean, good films to see something for everyone, and can take in your own food and drink

  • Naeema Sarkar

I went to see Barbie yesterday in screen 4 row k. The row near seat 7 stank of stale urine. Awful

  • Bernadette “Sugarbabe” Mitchell

The theatre was freezing and the chairs in there need replacing as some are ripped and broken.

  • Constance Villemot

It’s a good thing that it’s not too expensive. Projection rooms are incredibly cold and dirty.

  • Andi Cheese

Not a nice experience for cinema. Noisy, uncouth people, staff were rude and very bad night

  • Djidji Kari

The place was very cold. We couldn't enjoy the movie because it was so cold.

  • Anthony “Stullah” brown

Great plc, nice friendly staff. Been taking my kids there for years.

  • Brendan DS
