VNS Electrical was sent to my home by MiWay Insurance to see to the problems I was having with my toilet/pipes. Unfortunately the same issues are reoccurring. VNS Electrical was sent out to our home to fix two issues: the flushing mechanism and a leaking tap that leads to the toilet tank. A few days later, the issues persisted and we called VNS to explain. They sent out their technician who was very rude and in no way helpful. Further to our shock and horror, the parts used this time around were scrap/second pieces which were lying loosely in the back of their van. When queried, the technician insisted it was new but could not provide the packaging or receipt as we had paid for brand new parts. We then sent an email to VNS in regards to their poor service, how unprofessional their plumber was, the second hand parts and awful customer service, to which we have not received a response as yet. Now, after a few months later, the same issues are back for the third time. We called VNS Electrical and spoke to the owner Vivian Naidoo/Naidu. Already upset that the job was not done properly, yet service and payment was provided twice on the same issues, the owner believed the situation to be funny and laughed numerous times. When I viewed my opinion on this sort of customer service, the conversation got heated and I was told to sort this problem out myself despite the service being provided by VNS in the first place. This is a typical example of Contractors who lack the skill, professionalism and customer service who rush to see to Insurance Claims and give contractors a bad name in general. We do not suggest anyone use this service provider as they lack customer service, lack the technical skills needed to remediate plumbing issues the first time around and then believe they are doing you a favor when you query any issue or their service. The owner and his technicians are far from professional and definitely not easy to deal with.

Had cough out R160.00 for cable. Was an insurance claim. …
