Customer service is horrible! I normally brush it off but today I advise the cashier Brenda "fyi your phone is not working I tried to call twice and she cut me off stating it is" and then she proceed to tell the cook and the other cashier that I'm upset the phone isn't working and in spanish as if its a joke. Which first off, I speak spanish and I wasn't upset. I was just simply letting her know the phone does not work.Very unprofessional to speak about a customer regardless of if you do or do not think they speak your language. Whole point of me mentioning it to her was #1 its her place of employment #2 as a customer and someone who has a limited amount of time for lunch it does no one any justice if you have the ability to take orders over the phone but the phone does not work!!!

Ill let the reader decide-- this is what you get for 9 dollars. A few pieces of beef, not even a scoop, over a bowl of white rice. Nothing else. Unfortunately the picture wont post. Its not worth the money. I recommend flame broiler in mira mesa mall. Update- i drove back with the bowl and explained the problem to their staff. After a brief argument, they finally offered to refund me. I was quite nice about it, but the staff was incredibly rude, leaning on the defense that she has worked there for 4 years, giving her superior credibility and doubting mine. To sum it up: I wont be back.

Very subpar service, and food quality is hit or miss, sorry but your rating is only as good as your worst day of service. Today was that day, burnt my salmon to a crisp and sent me rotten fruit and salad in my lunch plate. Will not be returning, for the prices these mistakes should not happen, I work full time and don’t have time to drive my door dash order back to the store to have them remake it. Terrible

Walked in for lunch. Place was completely dead, there were two employees working and they weren't really paying attention to the front counter when I walked in (they were in the kitchen). Ordered the "wild caught salmon" bowl with veggies and brown rice. Wasn't bad, just a little over-priced for $12.

Ordered to go on Wednesday August 31 around 12:45PM. Place was busy and there was only one guy working the register. He was doing a very good job of multitasking and keeping up good customer service. He was friendly and fast. The portions are pretty good (beef and chicken)...salmon was kind of small. Steak was my favorite. Will definitely be back.

The manager was giving me a hard time, and I think they purposely put chicken in my loaded miso soup instead of tofu. I'm vegan, so I'm very much not okay with this. My stomach is hurting right now because.

The food is good but the service isn't always the best. It would be nice to not mess up an order made up of 3 ingredients and take less than 20 minutes for the only customer in your restauraunt. Also, it would be nice if Brenda and her coworker paid more attention to their customers instead of gossiping in the back.

If you are looking for a teriyaki bowl then you will probably try waba grill. The customer service is good and they have recommendations. The food tasted good. For the price that I paid though, if all I wanted was teriyaki chicken and rice I could just ask jack in the box to not add broccoli and carrots.

My boyfriend and I went to this location since it says it’s open til 8pm on google: We drove all the way there, we live near downtown SD, and it’s CLOSED. Super dissapointed someone needs to update their information. Btw, it closes at 5pm on sundays. Ridiculous.

Waba grill has some of the best quality chicken veggie bowls for the price in this area. I wouldn't say their sauce is the best, but that said I'm never disappointed, and the staff here is awesome and very friendly. I've never regretted a meal from Waba.

Great tasting and health too. I’m a stickler for the Waba Bowl. A lot of food, especially when you order extra meat with it. Very easy to customize your order and make it exactly what you want. Everyone from vegetarian to carnivore will love their food.

We're big fans of Yoshinoya Beef Bowl (ate it a lot in China), but there's only one remaining in San Diego. Waba is very similar and the taste is pretty good. They use fresh ingredients and the flavors are genuine. Glad to have this option in the area.

It's cheap dude. I get the 6 dollar chicken bowl with a mango sweet tea (fountain drink). And 5 dumplings / pot stickers for 2.50. All together it's 9.25. You can eat inside but I usually get it to go. The food is decent and for a good price. Peace!

We got there at 7:40pm. Got our food at 7:50. About half way through with eating at 7:59, we are asked to leave because they were closing. The short ribs were ok but mostly just bone. Very expensive for the portion of food. Would not recommend.

Delicious chicken bowl and dumplings, well cooked and fresh. They also make sure to give you enough rice, chicken and vegetables and the dumplings are really good 10/10 would recommend

The food was okay, the serving of my chicken was what disappointed me. I’m not sure if they were running out of chicken or if they did not want to cook more but it was not enough. I would not be coming back here.

Food is good. They make real quick and fast. The place is also very quiet so if you want to eat somewhere and not be disturbed, this is a good place. Would definally recommend if wanting quick and healthy food.

Food was great but someone blew the bathroom up and then the smelled mixed with the food and ruined everything. Waba sauce on the food was great waba sauce in the pack tasted old.

So we walked in at 7:43 pm then we ordered but they close at 8 so we saw our meals just sitting there for 15 minutes so by the time we got our food they said we couldn’t eat there

Ever been inside? There is a hint of sewage in the air every time I've been and, though the food tastes good, it makes my stomach sick. They have must have plumbing issues.

First I’ve been here, and it was better then I expected.. I had low expectations, so it wasn’t hard to exceed them. But I’d probably go here again, on another random whim.

Absolutely amazing food and phenomenal service! I can't wait for my next visit! The price is great (around$10 a meal) and the food is filling and healthy.
