This is the best Walgreens pharmacy Intown Atlanta, or frankly in any other major US city core, that I’ve ever experienced. I’ll leave out the details, but the pharmacist here went FAR above and beyond to try to assist me with a refill snafu (of a medication which I absolutely need-NOT optional-for a pretty serious condition) caused by the new, endlessly changing, and poorly trained staff at my usual branch (to no avail, as it happens.) His kindness and professionalism felt like a throwback to when pharmacists genuinely had their customers health and well-being at heart...sadly a seeming rarity today. The silver lining in this cloud of abject absurd incompetence at my usual branch (it’s rapid decline is a really sad thing to see) is that I discovered this one, which is a lot closer to my new home anyway, and provides wonderful service (the tech was super friendly as well) in a spotless environment. Definitely my new home-base pharmacy. A+++
My doctor sent in an important prescription at 9am. Apparently their system was down but they didn’t notify anyone. They closed and put a note on the door but didn’t forward any prescription info to another store. It was too late at this point to have my doctors office call in the prescription to another store because their office was closed. Now it’s going to be over 24 hours to receive an important nerve prescription after a neuro surgery. Totally unacceptable.
This Walgreens is in a shopping center, right next door to Carter’s baby and kids shop. It’s neat and clean; fine for urgent basic needs. But selection of many products is quite limited compared to other Walgreens. Just a few brands of each item, maybe not the specific size or variety you were looking for, etc.
I just walked out of there. Tried to return some items and the lady said she could take them back half of what they’re worth. When I said I would not return them losing half of their value, she was extremely rude. We’re not going back there.
They are NOT prepared to deliver vaccines. Expect long waits while pharmacist tries to do his normal job and deliver vaccines. We waited an hour after checking in to be told our appt was at another location.
This used to be a Rite Aid but now it’s owned by Walgreen’s. Very convenient, glad to have a Walgreen’s closer to home now! Only downside is they don’t have a drive-thru for prescription pick up.
I love this Walgreens, I was having a problem getting my migraine shot and they helped me. Everyone in the store is helpful and friendly. I appreciate it!
Our go-to pharmacy. Helpful and knowledgable staff, rarely ever any wait, and easy to navigate.
Great store for shopping lots of sales. All employees are very helpful and kind. 100%.
My Covid shots were done here, it was quick and efficient. Thanks Walgreens
