Today I went to this Walmart@Happy Valley,PHX. All I can say is horrible experience I have faced today with the store manager. I don’t know her name but she even don’t even know how to greet customers and she came after 20 mints of our wait time. At one point she said she can’t do anything for customer satisfaction. Such a unprofessional and rude behavior. Here is the complete details.. Walmart electronics department gave us wrong information when I called on 12/3 and today 12/4 morning regarding a phone promotion they told promotion runs till 12/4. When confronted with store manager regarding the misleading promotion details..I told the manager that the person from the electronics informed that the offer is going to end on Monday 12/4 so we visited the store on 12/4 when we visited the rep told the offer ended on 12/3. But the store manager said they didn’t receive any phone calls from us yesterday or today. I asked her to check my call log for the proof… then all drama started that she mentioned we don’t record call logs and we are so sure that we spoke to the rep from electronics section. Then she mentioned may be someone from the customers could answer our phone call as well and told that the offer is ending 12/4 which don’t make sense. Walmart customer rep told us wrong information through phone and that store manager lady blaming us and turned fault everything on our end. This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced. If anyone can take action regarding this review it would be much helpful and improves future customer experience otherwise you will be keep loosing customers. I didn’t expect this from a well established company like Walmart!!!

I had been working in my garage all morning and needed some groceries. I also wanted a couple of long sleeved shirts to protect myself better in the garage. Upon entering a doorway greeter approached me. I was in a hurry but noted that she seemed to follow me rather than looking at the next customer. Upon paying for all my purchases at a register with a cashier, I went to the exit and was asked for my receipt. I told her that actually this was a violation of my rights, I had paid for everything. She took the receipt and then started pawing thru my groceries. I asked her to stop. She pretended to just take out a milk jug and "scanned" it. I am not an attorney, but do know that we have a right against unreasonable search and seizure. If a cop cant search without your permission, then why are Walmart door greeters allowed to search thru your possessions? And why doesn't someone take notice when these violations of our basic rights as citizens are being violated? The manager told me that it was corporate policy. So, a corporation can take away your rights and freedoms? And I sincerely believe that I was being profiled upon entry, that this door greeter thought that she needed to search me for some reason. I was not using the self checkout lane.

Sucks when I can’t get my rice cakes! Since I need to avoid gluten, this is far and away the best vehicle I’ve found for most of my favorite toppings. 1 star may seem harsh, but that’s how absolutely vital these are to my healthy eating. Store is pretty messy tonight too. Ladies restroom had paper all over the place. It clearly hadn’t been serviced in many hours. This was a better store before than it is now. Pull it together. Yet another disappointment! Since there was no one to help me in the electronics section, I could not pick out the cable I needed because it was locked up; I had to go with the one option that was for some reason *not* behind the glass. Well, moments after paying, I noticed a better fast-charging cable stocked *in the self-checkout area*. So you’re concerned enough to put most of the cables behind glass, but then you put this one where I didn’t notice it was available until too late. Just thoughtlessness here, and so far it cost me money, and every time I plug in this cable that charges at only 5W power, I will lose time too versus the 20W one I could have had. Organize your store better! This is frustrating.

Me and my girlfriend go to this Walmart every Sunday but never again after today!!! We went to the self checkout, bought everything, and the machine did not print a receipt even though I told it to. We thought it wouldn't be an issue until Sal at the door got super aggressive towards us and blocked us from leaving. We watched multiple people leave before us and he did not check their receipt, but wanted to check ours for some reason. Then he accused us of trying to do this to him a few days ago which was false because we only come here ONCE A WEEK and we've never had an issue before! Most of the people at the door know us! So basically Sal accused us of being someone else, blocked us from leaving over a receipt (got in my girlfriend's face), and when we tried to show him the machine was broke, he refused to come look at it. We had to get help from another employee. He singled us out for no reason and we will NEVER be coming to this Walmart again. Just because we looked like another couple Sal had a problem with, doesn't give him the right to be rude to every couple that looks like them!! I hope Sal is fired IMMEDIATELY!!!

Good ol' Walmart, I'll never stop going there, must be addicted. The Pharmacy is top-notch, always in stock, hardly ever a line. I get mad because WMart runs out of grocery and OTC things I always buy, and they don't replace it for weeks. Produce is horrible, they purchase bottom of the barrel, rejected by better stores, and throw it on the shelves with sometimes fresh items that just came in that are quite good. Selection store-wide is terrible and deteriorating. I have to buy stuff online because they just don't or won't have something they used to always have or had at one time. But hey, they have key items, and what they do have is irresistibly priced. Controlled incompetence I believe. Here are some "we love you Walmart" funny photos (lemons priced differently depending on which you are facing, bags that open on wrong end). I must amend to say they do have good selection in certain areas, such as pickles, peppers and olives for instance, which puts Safeway to shame, and beer, wine, and liquor.

Its the nicer Walmart of the area. However, the security guard needs a new day job and a reality check (the tall bald one with a backwards hat and a shirt thats 3 sizes too small). I completely understand that he is there to prevent theft for the store but he acts like he's part of some military mission. Him and his 2 partners run through the store at full speed and plow into stuff and people while talking on a merged call through their airpods. Every time I go here its a new adventure with this dude. The whole reason I'm writing a review this time is because he was outside arguing with some guy and calling him a ton of foul slurs in front of my kid and others. His job is going to cause the wrong person to come back and be the next mass sh00ter. He needs to collect himself and reevaluate his position.

This Walmart always seems to be out of stock on stuff and they also don't stock some items that they stock at other Walmart Supercenters, We typically end up driving to 83d ave and Union Hills location to get what we need. Some of the employees act like they absolutely hate their jobs and the customers, we will be shopping with our kids and the employees will seem frustrated with us being there. I go out of my way to make sure we aren't bothering anyone or in the way when they are stocking shelves, but what else am I supposed to do? Not shop here? This is the closest Walmart to us and the next closest one is on Bell Road and 19th Ave. I don't go down there unless I absolutely have to for fear of getting shot or stabbed. 3 stars anyways because its a necessity and they exist for a reason.

Horrible customer service. First time at this Walmart. Went in to get a fishing license and pressed the button for help, multiple times. Waited for 15 min then had to find someone to call a worker back to help us. When he got there his whole demeanor was as if it was a horrible thing that we were making him work. I wish I remembered his name to post. He then left before we had filled out the license application. We needed him in order to get the printed license as it was locked up. Went back to find someone and walked to customer service and still waiting another 20 min. I am still waiting as I am writing this review. Most of the employees there are basically barely "adults". Will not be coming to this walmart again. Customer service is just as important as having stocked shelves.

It's Walmart, This store is relatively clean but never quite there, it's too busy. There are homeless guys who creep around the parking lot and surprise you sometimes. The staff is a mixture, you might get great individual help or it might be terrible, I've seen both. Prices are..... OK. Not sure why it's as expensive as it is since you mostly ring up your own items and pay by card or cash machine. The only security you ever see is the old guy who stops you to check your receipt on your way out after purchasing. Certainly no security outside. Speaking of that I was always taught that detaining a customer past the point of sale was risky unless you have a reasonable suspicion of them having been a shoplifter. Because you could be sued. So you walk right past the guy if you want.

I did a drop at the store return of an item I had purchased. I went to the app, and this was an option. So, why not. I drove up and logged in, and about 6 minutes later, a clerk came out, and I gave him the return item. My app had a scanned bar for him. I offered it, and her said he didn't need it. It was on his app. Ok. Later, I noticed that day that it didn't show I had returned the item, so I called and asked for the online return manager. He got on the phone and said that the employee must have been on a different app and he would take care of it. I asked him how he would know, and he said he would work it out and take it up front for the return himself. I said thank you. Very nice guy. Sure enough, I got a message about an hour later that it had been returned. Thank you!

Dede, the customer rep over the return counter in this store has been horrible with her customer service experience. This is the second time I am turned down by her. Last time, she threw away my return receipt and my bill instead of giving it to me. This time , she refused to accept the chocolate box unopened because I didn't have the receipt. It was within 90 day return policy and she refused to give me a walmart gift card. The chocolate box was unopened and just around 35 days of purchase. Very sad to see walmart hiring such unprofessional people in the stores. I give a bad rating for Dede , which she said is her name a bad rating for her overall handling of things at this store over the return counter.

Yesterday morning, I had to go on an errand for my boss who is being treated at the cancer center, he needed some medical supplies, I got everything he had on the list. I go to self check out and it’s crowded, I found a self checkout that was open, before I knew it, I was surrounded by two employees watching my EVERY move! Literally one of them was over my shoulder!! I almost bumped into her I backed away from the counter! I looked around and I was the only black person in self checkout! I was very upsetting! When I left out the store, I had other customers come up to me saying how sorry they were for my treatment! I will never go back! It was very disrespectful!

A just an average walmart. Same looks, but very organized. I will say a huge positive about this store is that there is always 7 or more cashiers open. This walmart always seems to be busy when I come, so it's a huge relief when cashiers are handy. Home items on left side of the store, and on the right is the market side. Negative, on one occasion (1/2 months ago) I saw a manger/supervisor yelling  at the store elder greeter from 8 feet away. Therefore, attracting a huge amount of eyes to the situation. And it felt very uncomfortable for everyone. Didn't understand why the lady manger/supervisor would display this type of behavior to the customers or work place.

This past time went well. The time before was less than a 'welcome to Walmart'! I had a cart full at around 7:30 am. Only one register open. (Not my fault Walmart!) I looked at the only cashier open and HE nodded 'no' and pointed me to the self check. He was doing nothing...absolutely nothing and nobody in his line! Sadly the self check out lady had to hear my frustration (she was very helpful) and I thanked her for listening. Be more accommodating Walmart to the people with full carts in the early hours! Why your employee, who just stood there doing nothing...very poor customer service to say the least!!!

Staff was really great to us while we were there. So nice to experience that in our world today. From the Greeter at the door upon entering the store, to the ladies at the customer service counter, to checkout - every interaction was great! Picked up some really pretty jewelry while there. Unlike elsewhere, I found their costume jewelry to be quite tasteful, and SO affordable! Originally $9.82 each, but talk about a blessing... On Sale for $5.00 a necklace! Went to the Deli section today and experienced terrible customer service. I was told that there were policies concerning the wing flavors one can choose from and as a result the workers walked away from me and refused to take my order, and they did not bother explaining anything! What's going on Walmart? Are you aware that this policy is not written on the menu? But most of all why was I ignored and my order not taken? This is not acceptable, and refusing to take a person's order because they do not know your menu policy clearly reflects the poor customer service training you provide.

Team lead lady in the returns department needs to learn basic customer service. She was on a personal phone call while attend to the returns. I asked if an exchange was possible but she was too busy on the phone to hear what I said or just straight up ignored me. Plus I couldn't understand what she was saying cuz she kept mumbling, while talking on the phone. So I couldn't even tell if she was even talking to me. I just took my return and my money back cuz I don't wanna deal wit it. But cmon brub don't be on your phone taking personal phone calls while doing your job.

I can always count on Walmart having the best prices. The best selection of food and Other items that I need On a weekly basis. Because I go to this location all the time. I usually see many of the same faces as far as employees go. Everybody's always nice and helpfull. The manager Is always helpful, when I can't find a product because it is popular and sells out quickly. He makes sure that he double orders it to accommodate me. How can you lose with that kind of customer service. I am glad you have people like this that put the customer first. ✝️

This is a review of the oil changing service at this Walmart. I have no problem with the store, just with the automotive service center. Three times now at least they have failed to replace parts removed to allow an oil change; Once on my Pontiac Vibe and at least twice on my Honda Fit. The parts that are reinstalled improperly don't make themselves known until a couple of weeks after the oil change which gives Walmart plausible deniability. Well it's the last time they can deny it. I'm going somewhere else for oil changes...after 22 years.

I had a tough time getting help to get a grill down from a high shelf. I actually waited so long that I left. I then ordered the grill online for pickup but was cancelled by Walmart. I guess no one looked on top storage shelf or was too lazy. So I went back the next day and asked for a manager. Rina was great. She understood and quickly found the staff necessary to get forklift and get it dow. The 2 guys helping were quick and helpful. Thanks Rina very much for turning a frustrating situation into a good one!!

Well stocked and almost always has what I'm looking for. I have found that this Walmart is definitely superior compared to some. It is spacious, less crowded, well maintained, and easy to navigate. There are a few things that I get almost every trip that have ran out, but when this happensvits often restocked in less than a week. Unfortunately, it’s a necessary evil. However, the manager was extremely rude with an issue I was having over the phone. I was trying to get transferred to a department and they had no idea what the question was going to be but said they could not give out any information over the phone. The manager said she would address the issue, I have no confidence that she will address any issue based on her attitude. I will now be shopping at the Cave Creek and I 17 Walmart.

I needed to have someone open a locked item. And none of the employees could help. I didn’t realize it was my job to track someone down who had a key. I talked to 3 employees and none of them helped me so I did not make a purchase. If you are working and a customer would like to buy something it is your job to make that happen not the customers responsibility! Would not honor Mark price no health tons of employees but you’re better off using your phone

Here's the proof! They would not allow me to exchange a broken cast iron pot yesterday. I left the piece of junk at customer service. I went back 24 hours later to see if they just restocked it. The damaged item is back on the shelf to sell to someone else. What a shady business practice. I told the manager this is mine and I would like to take it back. He told me I was correct and walked me to the front of the store.

The phone repair shop really sucks, the Indian girl replaced the wrong camera lens, and saying that my camera broken. I checked on the net ,found out she replaced the wrong size for my camera lens. When I came back, she was very reluctant to do the work. And replaced a similar size again. I have no choice but bought 1 set to fix it on my own. Finally my camera comes back alive! Trying to get baby formula behind a lock, and there is no call button. Asked 5 employees for help. Get told to 'ask someone else'...walk to customer service. I'll meet you there after I help another customer wait 5 minutes. No one shows up. Update: Walked back to Customer Service they use the intercom this time. By the time I walk back. The person who responded to the intercom call was turning to walk away...

Never in my life have I ever seen an employee that was so stoned at work. When asked questions it literally took 45 seconds to a minute before they could process what they heard and there was nothing but a slack jaw and blank eyes afterwards with a reply of two words. They walked off and came back and walked by without saying anything. Complete zombie while working.

Went shopping with the girls that day at Walmart and we left a few minutes after they were stating they were closing, but Walmart didn't pester any of us and looked like everyone else was getting treated the same and then checked us out fast and kind and that was a true blessing of a night with the girls because of God. This store is amazing. It had displays that no other ones have like paint buckets spilling fabric that looks like paint etc. And this store has the BIGGEST Gluten Free section I've ever seen. 3 whole 4 foot sections! And then the frozen aisle they have like 5 coolers of gluten free. I've never been so impressed with a Walmart. I will shop here going forward.

A lot can be said about Walmart. Normally it’s the customers that are the issue, at this location a white haired cashier called me an A—hole for taking a cart for go-backs. It was late, and as a veteran with a service dog, my hands were full. Complete disregard for customer service tonight. Nice Walmart, great sales, customer service gets negative 5 stars.

The cashier and team lead in the tire center were amazing! I accidentally left my debit card at home, they were so understanding. They figured out how I could pay for my oil change using WalmartPay. Without their help i would have been waiting 1.5 hours for someone to come help me. They were such a huge help today!!

Usually has everything I need in stock. Very convenient location. My only complaint is that it smells like sewage throughout the refrigerated/frozen aisles. Not sure if it's a known issue, but just thought I'd mention it in case it's not. I have a very sensitive sense of smell, so I never know if it's just me.

Got curbside pickup for one item. Came during a less busy time and called for over a half hour and no answer. Finally called the store direct and got through to someone. Another half hour later and they still haven’t come out. Cancelling my order and going somewhere else. This store keeps going downhill.

Very well,have most of your needs, can take your time, and look through entire store at your own pace, lots to look at. Plenty of parking and the electrical carts can be driven to your car for us that have a hard time walking.
