The most important thing is to have an experienced and trustworthy agent who can guide you through all steps of the process. You don't need to deal with many individual estate agents. Finding a good agent is the key thing, and we were lucky to work with Joacim from Warde Property. Joacim suggested potential properties of interest, which allowed him to understand our preferences. Then he took us for a series of viewings. He helped us to make our offer, then made arrangements for a local notaire to undertake the legal aspects of the purchase. Once we had the keys Joacim continued to provide assistance in setting up contracts with utility providers and a local builder for renovation work. Some years later, Joacim is still on hand to help with any issues. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend his services.

När jag började att söka lägenhet i Nice fick jag rådet av en bekant att kontakta Joacim Örhall. Efter kontakt via telefon och epost åkte jag ner ett par dagar för att se på ett tiotal objekt. Jag fastnade för en lägenhet i hamnen och det blev affär. Lägenheten var i behov av renovering och Joacim hjälpte mej att komma i kontakt med en byggfirma som gjorde en professionell renovering. Kontakten med Joacim har varit bra från första stund. Han har en god kännedom om marknaden i Nice men har också varit bra på att förstå och lyssna till mina önskemål under hela processen. Joacim tar ansvar för mej som kund även efter köpet och har hjälpt till med bland annat kontakter med myndigheter och andra frågor som rör fastigheten som t.ex el, vatten, försäkring m.m. Givetvis har det också varit extra bra för mej som svensk att kunna föra dialogen på svenska. I found my dream vacation property with Joacim and am extremely happy. He made the whole process- fun, understandable and easy. He interacted with the notaire, the sellers and others. He has a lot of contacts and set me up with, for example, insurance etc. Even after the closing, he was available for questions and issues I had. I worked as a real estate lawyer in my early career and have had a lot of experience with real estate brokers- there are good and bad ones. Joacim is one of the really good ones.
