"This dead end road leads to a car park , there is nothing in this car park , however it is a short walk to a amazing swimming spot in the Yarra , it’s not really recommend to swim here as a few people have drowned , but when the water is low it is ok , it has one end of the pound road tunnel"

    "Not a bad area"

Nice river to have a refreshing swim in a hot day. There are not facilities like toilets or changing rooms. However, it"s a nice experience to share with friends or family. In general, currents are not so hard (unless heavy rain), so it's safe for kids with a bit of adult supervision. For the little ones there are shallow water spaces where they can play safely. Highly recommended to wear water shoes.

Not a bad area. A few spots to access the river that would be nice in summer. A pretty decent walking trail follows the river for a couple of Kilometers. It gets a bit challenging with fallen branches and a few steep muddy slopes. Worth visiting :)

I used to live down the road. I hadnt visited in several years. Loved seeing the tracks i used to walk down to the river

Nice dog friendly spot. Suggest you bring a picnic blanket because it's all dirt and sharp rocks. Good swimming hole!
