They do not respect our business, or at least some of the employees do not care to do their jobs, or both. Went in to make a deposit. There were three open teller booths, but only one teller present. What started out as a line of 2 or 3 soon grew to a line of over 10, and then a line almost going out the door, because there was only one teller. The problem is that there seemed to be at least 2 other people just walking back and forth in the teller area. At one point, as the line swelled, one of the people who was not serving in the teller capacity, pulled the only teller available away from the teller booth, leaving no tellers to help the customers in line. This prompted some of the customers to exclaim "can we get some help out here?" No help arrived. Eventually, an employee, with green and blue hair, emerged from a side room. She moved to the teller area, even sat down at a teller booth, giving rise to hope that we would soon he helped. But that did not happen. Instead she got up from the booth and did what ever it was she needed to do behind the teller area (which seemed to involve those coin sleeves), and then left the teller area to retuen to whatever she had been doing before. A few moments later, she reemerged, and headed back to the teller area. Seeing her, several patrons inquired if she could help us, myself included. These inquiries were mostly ignored. But one customer's framing of the question did prompt a response. The exchange went something like this: Customer: Ms. What are you doing? Can you help some of us in line? Blue and Green Haired Employee: I'm minding my own business, that's what I'm doing. Why not? Eventually the sole teller returned, and then another woman emerged from far back area, and observing the line, the sole teller, and the other employees not helping, she opened another teller booth. Eventually I was helped and left the bank, the line having grown even further. On the way out, I saw one of the employees who had been walking back and forth to and from the teller area standing near the exit. I had a question about a banking product so I asked her about it. She was not a banker, and could not answer any of my questions. In and of itself, this would not be such a big deal, but it did beg the question, if she is not a teller, and she is not a banker....what is this woman's job at wellsfargo? Is standing by the door next to the security guard a position? All told, 45 minutes to make a deposit. On the way out the security guard asked how my day was going. The only response I could muster...."I bank at Wells Fargo. That's how my day is going."

***Please band together in an effort to petition the closing of this location!!!!*** Let me please start off by saying that this is not the 1st time (that I looked past the first couple of times btw) that I have had a problem with the employees at this location. I’m not certain of what the requirements are to be employed by Wells Fargo, but it is apparent from my experiences with this particular location, that the standards are very low. This branch is located in the heart of a predominantly, African-American urban community. Could the type of people that are allowed to work here, be a direct reflection of what Wells Fargo feels the people deserve that live & support that branch in that area? Or perhaps, it’s a combination of that mixed with good old fashioned bias. For the LIFE of me, I can’t understand why the Manager-On-Duty Kristen Griffin refused to assist me with my transaction and caused me to lose time that was significant for the important things I needed to accomplish for that day. Due to COVID restrictions, you’re obviously required to go through the drive-thru if you don’t have an appointment set up. I waited for over 45 min to get to a teller, then found myself repeatedly asking Kristen Griffin if the person that was signing over a third party checks’ name would have to be listed under my name, she confirmed. It was like she had it already set up in her mind not to assist me. I sent up the check, along with my WF bank card, drivers license, as well as the check owner & Kirsten Griffin refused to cash or even deposit the check without any reason other than, “that it was what she was told”. I advised her to review my “Check history” on this account to verify that I had not had any issues in the past, which she acknowledged she saw! I was turned away & she told me that the check could not even be accepted for a deposit only. This caused me GREAT inconvenience & unnecessary stress at a time like this! I had to take my business to another WF location 15 min away just to be given the respect & assistance that I deserve. Do yourselves a favor & start to build financial relationships elsewhere. I need to know why I can’t do business in my own community?

This Lee Street “Wells Fargo” Location Is Unprofessional & Has Lack of Employees at this Location.!!! This Wells Fargo location, sucked waayy before this Pandemic happened but has been extremely slacking with being in this Coronavirus COVID-19 Pandemic as well.!!! The employees at this bank will be behind the back off the counter having their own conversations, just hanging around, only having 2 bank tellers in the window, & only 1 bank teller in the (drive-thru) window. All of the other employees will be on the side of the 2 working bank tellers talking them (ki-ki, ha-ha) & the rest of the 5-6 other empty windows, will just stay empty. The other talking employees won’t even stop their conversations to even help out the other bank tellers their working. This location has go to do better, especially being that they’re the one bank open in that location area, since the one up the street shut down last year during the Pandemic.!

I usually do not go out my way to make a bad review but this time I will make an exception. I have been a customer for 10 years. Never in my experience of banking with Well Fargo have experienced the lack of customer service. I am very disappointed to have dealt with people who seem to lack empathy or the basic foundation for customer care. The banker Tremain is by far the worse in dealing with customers go to a different banker if you happen to bank here. Even if I was walking in -10 degree weather and this was the nearest branch, I would rather walk to the branch on Abernathy than here. I will never take my business to this branch and I urge all who read this review to heed my warning!

Change Banking if you can! I would give this Wells Fargo NEGATIVE stars if possible. I'm at the drive-thur and 30min have already pass by. ALL Lane are open but they are still RIDICULOUSLY SLOW and the inside is close WHY?? The tellers have no sense of urgency at all. I Understand that u are dealing with money but come on!!.. They do this everyday can someone in Corporate not look into this problem and see the Frustration your Wells Fargo customers are dealing with. Im only here because my job banks with Wells Fargo. BUT to be honest other Wells Fargo Bank near where I live is not this SLOW only this location on Lee Street..SMH

They deserve no stars in line for 30 min drive thru and pulled up with the same two cars in front of me. Same thing with the line next to me. Its not the customers it's the staff. Whats the point of banking here when its the worst in convenience. Like I said it's not the customers its the staff all together 40 mins now. Only in black neighborhoods its always like this we have to do better. Never in my life since I've banked and had a issue like this or wait like this. When its wasnt even a line. 2cars yahll

Saturday morning, only 2 Tellers . I’ve been here for 40 minutes now and I still have 10 people in front of me. This is absolutely ridiculous. If the tellers quit all that joking and laughing with each other then maybe they can get us out quicker. I’m doing a business drop deposit and my store opens in 1 minute. And I have the keys to the door. Clearly you need to hire more people for Saturday and busy hours . Worst bank I’ve ever been to. I’m so glad this is not my personal bank .

Showed up at the time of my appointment. It was pouring rain and an officer was busy on the phone waving his hand for me to leave with no explanation. I continued waiting for his busy conversation to end in the rain for him to speak through the door that I needed to reschedule my appointment. I already left work early for this appointment, and this is completely unprofessional. I am already closing my account with Wells but this made my decision even easier.

The drive thru teller was helpful and kind. She instructed me to come in because of my situation. The tellers in the service line are a different story. Brenda was rude and unhelpful. After lying about being unable to help me, I found out at another branch, that this witch closed my account! I will never visit this branch again!

I had a great experience with this branch. The banker Christine took great care of me. She signed me up for online wire services. I am pleased to be able to use this online feature, it saves me a lot of time due to the fact I am a business owner. They were extremely friendly the entire staff at the West End location.

  • Alicia Porter

Thank you for always taking care of my banking transactions and any issue that may arise. I certainly understand that most businesses have endured staff reduction since the pandemic. Still, the remaining tellers work consistently hard to make sure that each customer needs are met. I Love the West End branch

  • Kathy Tallini

why do they need to call the person who wrote me a $100 check to verify that they wrote it to me? im standing right in front of you with proper ID (2 forms) and my name is on the check. thats what happened to me yesterday. an overall 2 star rating for this branch is way too high.

  • Diamond Harris

the worst one you could ever go to. they move way too slow. no way i should’ve waited an entire hour just to cash my check. then it be tellers at the counter but don’t even help people. they just sit there. atleast go to the back if you not going to make the line go faster.

This bank does not show enough concern about the consumer to make logical decisions regarding issues affecting the customer. I am appalled that this bank does not have the proper internal leadership to make simple decisions that will assist a customer and not hamper them.

  • Mike O'Kelly

Personal Banker Tari Daniel helped to close out accounts of my deceased parent and was very polite and efficient with the process. The off-duty APD police officer upon entrance was very kind and helped as if he were an employee of the bank. Thanks for the great service.

Why is customer service in areas that are predominately African American always poor. And covered with plexi glass. This is never the case when you travel north of the perimeter. My teller actually went to lunch while she was assisting me. Makes me really sad......

  • Andre Cofer

We fault Upper management the reason why this bank the way it is you 5 windows and 1 teller the rest of the employees standing around may we just need to open an account somewhere else just look at there ratings I guess all they want is our money

  • Elliott Inspace

Tremain the teller likes to interrogate people. I was offended when he asked me about a deposit to my account… when I inquired why he was asking me he told me that they like to verify everything. One of the reasons I don’t like banking here

Went to this location to open a new account for my son...because of the type of account it was, the rude Banker tells me "you should open it at Bank of America, across the street from the westend train station". I was shocked!!! I told her,

Awesome awesome bank. Located not far from downtown Atlanta but is in the historic west end area. Directly across the street from west end mall. Plenty of parking. Has a drive through. Great bankers at this location. This bank can get full

Unfriendly staff, unprofessional, unhelpful, bad experience. They were unconcerned about issues that directly affected customer. They weren't good with problem solving and seemed pretty petty, won't EVER come back to this wells Fargo!

11 teller windows yet only two are staffed, 40 minute wait on line consistently and most patrons are elderly (with limited mobility) on any given day. Unacceptable to say the least… West End customers deserve better from Wells Fargo!

I had the unfortunate opportunity to deal with this location. I went in to put money in my son's account. I made the mistake of leaving my drivers license. I called the branch and spoke with the manager. They were able to locate my
