Recently boarded my cat at this vet for two nights. As part of boarding, I asked for my cat to be groomed too. I got a call from them to say that my cat was becoming aggressive when they tried to groom him so I asked them not to continue. When picking him up, I noticed that his paw was bloody. When I enquired, they assured me that they had no knowledge of him being hurt. When I took him back to get his paw checked out, the story I was told was they he may have tried to escape hurting the same nail on both paws. That seemed unlikely and they continued to provide treatment without charge which is even more suspicious. After the wounds on his paws healed, I noticed that his nails are no longer present. I suspect that his nails were cut too short hurting him. Of course no one admitted to this so what actually happened is unknown. The shady and dodge behaviour is why I would never go back here.

This is a tough one for me, given that my dog is a huge part of my family. 1st off, I like the 2 vets here. They are good people & the overall veterinary support at this place is good. The shop is ok at best, but that's not why you're going there. I had a very bad experience though when I used their in-house grooming service which left my dog hurt and traumatised. I wish the injury was shown to me when I picked up my dog but alas it was not. When I noticed a few hours later and returned with my dog, I received decent service & attention on treatment for his eye injury with several explanations on what happened, how and why...however it all felt very "swept under the carpet on the hope that I wouldn't notice". Note the the injury was treated at their cost and resolved over 2 weeks. I would never use their grooming service again. My dog is still very scared of the place as can be expected.

My 2 Maltese are at the vet for grooming since 9:15!!! Every time I call the lady says another 30 mins so I went there now to fetch my pets and agin she says 30 minutes, the elderly lady who is sitting at the front reception is extremely rude and arrogant I cannot even describe how rude she was, have my dogs eaten or had water from 9:15 who knows because she won’t say anything but give me her rude attitude, I don’t know what her name is but Dr Greenberg please check your records of who is working today 7th May 2020 she is elderly, short and blonde hair

Dr Tafara Mapuvire is honesty one of the nicest vets/people I have met in ages. He listened to the problems with my dog, explained options, considered my (financial) situation and the age of the dog and came up with a treatment plan. He was super gentle with my girly and it was just a wonderful all round experience. The vet practice itself is very reasonably priced and I cannot recommend it highly enough. I find this vet very reliable, and reasonable with the pricing and services. I take all my pets there and I'm happy with the treatment they've received, the veterenarians and receptionists are kind, caring and good at what they do. Plus it's easy to claim from pet insurance, and they are very willing to help with the paperwork for the pet insurance. I have no complaints. Thank you for your lovely service !

Great caring vets and staff. I take my puppy regularly for exposure and a friendly visit. They are quite happy to have us walk around and chat and even happy to weigh him and if the office is not busy pick him up onto the examination table just for practice. My only regret is that they don't supply my brand of dog food so that I don't go there as often as I otherwise would.

I took my Bella there yesterday to Rest in Peace. The lady Dr who was with us was amazing, it was a tough decision and I forgot to get her name and the gentleman who carried my dog. I just want to Thank You and the staff for being so incredibly amazing, gentle and respecting. The thanks is without a doubt from both Bella (she is at peace now) and myself. Love you Dr!

The female vet that we seen had misdiagnosed my puppy with parvo virus ... she’s an exceptionally unpleasant person to deal with... I hope that there would be a better vet out in her place as many people in my area feel the same way about Dr Ale or whatever her name is. But she doesn’t have the animals best interest and that’s for sure

We take out two cats there on regular occasions for deworming, meni and pedi and there yearly inoculation. They also have a kennel service and doggy parlour. Doc is fantastic with all types of answer to any questions you have. Reception and general staff is also very professional and great with your pets. Highly recommend there service

They make you feel welcome. Melvin is very professional and knowledgeable, honest and a fair man. When we go to him my pups can't wait to get inside to see him. He has a great connection with them and he always warns me that I will get an injection if I give them titbits and not there food. Also great staff.

My ginger cat Harry has not been well for a while Wendy wood clinic have been an absolute comfort for me to know my Harry will be ok in time to come Everything was explained to me , so well that I understand what Harry bus going through Well done to Wendy Wood clinic for being so good to me and Harry

I was disappointed by the manner in which the vet dealt with my pet cat. She had absolutely no empathy. She was harsh, rude and lacked decent communication skills. I left with my son devastated, not by the news we had received, but at the manner in which it was delivered.

This place is superior in its customer service and warmth. The veterinarian did an amazing job not just with our fur baby but also with us by giving great advice and also by calming us down. Definitely a place to take your pets if you have a need for a vet. …

Took my puppy for a groom. They cut his nail too short and was bleeding under his nails. Had a tick in his ear. Ears were still dirty. He now has a bloodshot in his eye. Called back to complain and the receptionist was rude and arrogant. Did not take me seriously.

I have been going to the Wendywood Vet for over 40 years. I have come away feeling good about the help I have got regarding our beloved dogs. I have learnt how to take proper care of our dogs over the years.

Service was very quick and the vet and receptionist were extremely polite and cheery. They helped my cat out without a hitch. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a quality veterinarian.

I rescued 2 male dogs whom started fighting with each other at adolescence and the receptionist spoke down on me for having 2 male dogs as if I should have known better or not rescued them at all.

First time I visited was on Christmas Day! Thank you for sorting out my fur baby and not charging me additional overtime fees on the day. I will be back and have actually been back :)

No need to make an appointment. Reasonable rates and a knowledgeable vet. What more does a pet owner need. They also stock all the foods and meds you may need.
