I have to admit I used to love the old owner but the guys that but the shop are terrific. They have a great selection of not just whines but of spirits as well. I never knew scotch could be so expensive. They even have an extensive collection of saki of varying degrees of quality. One of the many things that I look for when I go on a store is how friendly the staff is. These guys are all decent people they are helpful and there earn my business just by having what I want and treating me like I was a valued customer. They are definitely worth a visit.

I came to purchase a Peerless whiskey bottle which on the company website and any liquor store within a 50 mile radius charges around $60 - $80 for. I was shocked when I went to ring out to be told the bottle was $155….. At my simple mention of the price discrepancy, the store associate immediately got disrespectful and repeated that I can either pay it or get out. I thanked him for his time and quickly exited. Literally go anywhere else but this overpriced, rude place for your wine/liquor needs.

I agree with all the other posts about the owner, he is very nice. I drop by every once in a while to grab a few bottles of wine and I always ask him for recommendations. I personally don't know much about wine, but he does, so you should take advantage and see if he could narrow down your search. The place is nicely organized and the wine are stored properly so they can last and taste just right when you pop the cork! Great place to shop for wine whether its for someone else or yourself.

I had to go downtown. I parked right next to this wine and spirit shop. I decided to stop in for a few bottles of cheer. I was very surprised about the store. The store has a large variety of wines and other spirits. The prices are very reasonable, considering the store is located in a large city (Manhattan). The manager, as well as staff are very nice and helpful. The staff was very knowledgeable about liquors and wines. I would go back here.

They are extremely helpful, very customer friendly, and could not try harder to accommodate. I would not go to another store. The people that say it's overpriced must be tourist and dont know what they are talking about. Also they are not rude in the least. Maybe these people should try another store...as they will be back to West Street.

This place has a nice selection and they deliver! I asked for a delivery with gift wrap and a card message. Migan helped me with the order and went above and beyond- I was able to text him the card message and he sent me a receipt via email because I did this over the phone for my boss. This is a great liquor store in batter park city.

Overpriced. I can get the same bottles of wine a few blocks away for 2-3 dollars less. Why would I buy it here then?? When buying more than one bottle it makes a big difference. Too bad ...they are really close by. I told them about the difference and they refused to budge on the price. Oh well someone else is getting my business.

I was in the area, so I stopped by to pick up a few bottles of wine to bring to my friend's house. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I received a lot of recommendations for wine. I left with several bottles of assorted spirits. The prices are very reasonable. There was a large variety of spirits. Prices were good.

I was dazzled and perplexed by the variety of wines here. The manager is friendly enough to help with your selection. He seemed to know a lot about it. It is also less expensive compared to other stores in lower Manhattan + they have a huge collection. They deliver too.

Beautiful interior but not much in the customer service department. Prices are decent considering the area. If you look most wines up using the vivino app, you’ll see that almost their entire selection is only $1 higher than the average price which really isn’t too bad.

Great shop near my apartment that delivers. Only criticism is that they don't have a website or POS in the store so is "charming" when you have the time, but unfortunately not my go-to store when I need to make a quick order. Please guys -- get online !!

Five well-earned stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I live nearby and go in (often!) They are incredibly polite, knowledgeable, and have a superb selection. My favorite out of all the other stores nearby.

This is probably the best liquor store in the FiDi area. They have a decent selection and the prices are great. Everyone there was helpful. They also have a great selection of wine!

Best collection of wines and other liquor compared to the other stores in the area and the staff is wonderful they help every customer. A must visit place for the experience.

This shop is not well maintained. It's pretty obvious when you get in. Spent too much money on a corked burgundy.
