First of all, here are a few things to note when going there. The intercom does not work, so you would have to keep calling via your own phone to get room service, front desk and the manager. If you are staying longer than 24hours, ask them about the light situation. They tell you the light is on from 6pm to 11am -- They lie. Big time. Ask them very well, they will still lie, so probably threaten to sue them, then they will tell you the truth. but i am sure they will lie still. You will pay 200 naira for room service. The food is the only good thing about this resort, it is really good large portions too. The chef is amazing. But if you have a rather sensitive tummy, stay away from the vegetable or have some loperamide with you. You will have to literally chase anyone and EVERYONE to have your room cleaned. Stayed for 6 days and not once did i get my rooms cleaned. We called the front desk and even personally met with someone to get the room cleaned and the sheets changed, they both said they were coming BUT alas, no one came. Really slow service. These people have also refused to refund our balance. Had to go back to Lagos urgently and asked to be refunded our fee for the last day (we paid for a week and stayed just 6). Till this very moment, nothing has been done. DO NOT GO TO WHISPERING PALM IF YOU WANT TO HAVE A GOOD TIME. It has no view; no fun, just sun. I had to pick a star so i'd be able to post but it really deserves none.

It was fun and interesting with beautiful cultural statuettes, fountains, picnic tables, game areas, a mini zoo, a leisurely waterside and lots of space. Now, if you don't live nearby, you may want to lodge or have your transportation properly planned as this is a relatively remote area. Also, wear gloves on the monkey bars.

Nearby activities
You have a neat range of activities to enjoy, from viewing the mini zoo, playing darts, pool, table tennis, there's a playground for kids and an outdoor gym for adults. You could also step by the waterside, have a pedalled boat ride across the artificially separated pond (it has to be separated for safety as the rest of the water is driven by steady currents), have a coconut, or some grilled seafood.
Safety
For your safety, I wouldn't smile at the chimp with my teeth visible (it's considered a threat, same way you wouldn't roar at a lion or growl at a wolf). Don't overreach into the crocodile pond or squat close to them (they might realise how tasty you could be) because you'd look like prey. Gym: I got blisters swinging on the monkey bars. You might want to go with gloves or avoid it entirely as the metal is coarse.
Walkability
You can easily walk around the entire premises, or rent a bike if you're more comfortable biking.
Food & drinks
They have a nice grill, some coconuts, you can buy drinks and sit at the bar.

The hotel is poorly maintained, faded bedsheets and duvet, toilet brush was an eye sore. We wanted to leave immediately but it will affect our refund, hence we decided to stay one night and they had to change rooms for us and finally settled for the 3rd room given to us and managed it for the night. We had dinner and breakfast at their restaurant which was quite okay. The exterior was okay and one could see the potential of the environment but the maintenance culture is nothing to write home about. However, the management really need to look at the system and structure and look at ways of reinventing the place. Finally, since we requested for our refund since the 29th of December 2020 which they promised it will take about 3 weeks which we had to force them to give us a tentative date as every organization must have a refund system as part of their company policies. Based on this, we have sent several emails to them and no one has reached out to us to apologize for the delay or when it will be sorted and this makes it over 5 weeks and several calls have been put through them and they keep coming up with a lot of excuses. We will appreciate that this is resolved soonest. We finally received our refund after the review, and had to update accordingly.

The location was far. The link up road was under construction. At the gate we paid gate fee. i can't remember the exact amount. We got a tag and we moved on. Saw easily that it was once a great place that's fading.Paints pealing but I can see painting going on in an area. This suggests a renovation work on going .Stalls caving in, and some even not operating anymore. I didn't go into the room because I didn't lodge. They have a functioning bar close to the water front. And one of the bar men tricked us into buying bature stout as Guinness whereas they have Guinness in stock. I wasted N1000 on that cause I couldn't drink it. They eventually started selling Guinness stout that they claimed they didn't have earlier to us. The water front was heaven. The cool breeze there was good. And while sitting there, you could view fast boats moving people to and fro on the lagoon. They have pedal water rides where everyone can have fun. There is a swimming pool. With clean water but you can't drink in the vicinity. They have a snooker board and a table tennis board. Lots of swings to bring fun to children and adults alike. Generally it's a lovely place. And now that they started the painting job. I believe. It's gonna be like other whispering palms abroad. And lastly, we had lots of beef barbecue (suya) And they were nice.

It’s so disappointing! Just got here today and we waited for over two hours for room allocation and cleaning with our kids on their feet all through. Booked and paid five days before the check in date. Was surprised when we got here and there was nothing to show that they were expecting us, it took a call to Jumia (who handled the booking) before they attended to us after over two hours! Getting good and affordable food became a big issue after the long wait. Too many day-walk in customers without security checks. The fence wire on the fence of the area of the room allocated to us has been cut off, criminals can take advantage of such to launch an attack. The fridge/TV of allocated room are old. Dirty duvet (guess they didn’t change the used one while they were rushing). Worst of it was that we have to wait for hours and called the front desk twice before they eventually brought us a bucket for us to shower, the hand shower is not working . Just sad that we have to come this long and pay what we would have just add token or paid same amount within Lagos or ibadan and have fun. Coming to this resort during festive period is not worth the while.

A very nice place to get away from all the stress of work and traffic and all...very quiet place with good food, a swimming pool, speed boating, tour to the first building in Nigeria, the slave trade and many other beautiful sights.. good for newly weds to spend their honey moon, married couples to take time off, etc. They have a problem with the WiFi as at the time I was there but I believe it has been fixed by now. The food is quite expensive tho but it also good. They have a bar also filled with all sorts of drinks and beers and alcoholic wines. The weather is very chilled because its close to the ocean. They should try to work on the network because it isn't so good. They should also acquire ATM so customers can have cash due to the lack of banking services in the area. The roads within the facility are good but outside aren't but you won't even notice that when you've settled in the resort. They've got parrots too just in case you love parrots. Lots and lots of trees to relax and chill under. They also have games too..like video games for kids and table tennis and scrabble and other games for adults. You should try coming here.. Its awesome!

It is a far cry from what i expected of the resort. Little has been done to improve the infrastructure since i last came here about 25 years ago. The front desk staff were polite but clueless on a lot of issues. Google maps got the location wrong. The road to the resort is currently under repairs, therefore the journey was nothing short of horrible. There was no WiFi in the resort. Only a handful of guests. Only a few of the spots in the resort were operational. Ensure you come here fully equipped with your all your toiletries like (toothbrush, toothpaste, etc), water and snacks or else you may have to drive about 5km to get some. These items are not sold in or around the resort which is in the middle of nowhere. I think the children and grand children of the founder do not share his dream and have let the place go moribund. On the good side, the place can easily be revamped if managers take it more seriously. The ambiance is still soothing and has been greatly underutilized.

Whispering Palms... . Situated on the lagoon bank of the ancient city of Badagry. The resort is located on a wide expance of land with various structures and lined up outdoor gym area. Yes. It's a very old resort hospitality with minimal maintenance attention from its management. At the entrance, you'd find some animals in cages; rooster, ducks, turkey, monkey, baboon and some crocodiles. Next to the right just after the animals is the outdoor gym where various activities are encouraged by the physical exercise instructor from 6am in the mornings. The area opposite it seemed like the staff quarters. I noticed 3 residential area for the guests. An arcade of bars, a hall, burn-fire area, jetty for water sports and an Art Corridor borders the lagoon front. Bare in mind that the facilities here are old, and most non-functional but if you must visit Whispering Palm, take your fun along

This is one of the most useless resorts I have ever been in my life, Its a complete waste of money and my December. I and my girlfriend went there december 2020 to have a bit of holiday and get away from lagos. Transportation to the place is hectic and they don't offer any help, the rooms are terrible and unkempt, the swimming pool is dirty, the intercom does not work you either call reception with your credit or walk down every time you need something, everywhere in the compound is dirty and dusty, the water is full of hyacinth and its not cleared. The service is a disgrace to hospitality business, they are owing me money which they have refused to payback since that dec because we had to leave the place earlier than we paid for because of how terrible it is. I don't wish my experience on my enemy.

Obviously, proper maintenance is lacking in this place. There's A LOT of improvement needed here. Rooms and hall have faulty air conditioners, speed boat for cruise isn't readily available anymore, sound in the hall is unreliable, the environment should be thoroughly fumigated because the mosquitoes there are gangsta. As if all these aren't terrible enough, customer service is ZERO. At the point of booking, they're all smiles and welcoming. The moment their attention is called to something that requires fixing, they're the opposite. It's unfair that anyone would pay so much and be deprived of basic things. What's the point of leaving home for a supposed resort when the barest minimum is unavailable there? I'm rating 1 because the food was fair. They need to fix up real quick.

After spending 4hrs on the road and getting there, I got delayed for another hour just to check in, I wasn't expecting a five star service but that wasn't good. Away from that, they have fun stuffs for the kids which includes the bouncing castles, swings, trampoline for jumps etc trust me the kids won't be bored. There's the snooker, table soccer and also where to watch the premiership football for the guys also board games. The swimming pool was a cool spot as well. Then there was the boat ride which takes four persons at once, it was fun and kinda scary at first lol. Bicycles, gym are also available. There's also the night life with music and dancing. The food is super amazing cos you get varieties, there's a lot more but just go check it out. Apart from the bumpy ride to get over there, it sure is a great place to bond with family and friends.

Positives or negatives where do I start ? Let me start from the journey there, abeg for your safety and pls use boat. The journey was enough to say no and turn back. But then getting there, while everything is old fashioned and in dire need of an upgrade, there something cool about it. The zoo needs to be updated and the play area was better 10 years ago. I still enjoyed myself though, the boat ride, the pool and the maze. Least I forgot, I don't know where I went to waka and enter, big hefty dogs chased me oh. In this my old age, there is God oh. I don't know what happened to the restaurants that used to be here but the food I met wasn't have bad. In conclusion, I feel that if they good invest more or even take care of what they have, this place would be a beautiful place.

Beautiful scenery, green environment, well cared for, friendly and professional staff, delicious meals but too much onions to the extent that I began to smell like onions, but the outdoor is more looked after than indoor, rooms needs a lot of repairs, had to change room but there's still something that's not working well or not working at all. Shower not flowing well, heater wasn't flowing, power out between 11am and 6pm, some times had to call to remind them that it's past at 6:00 when power is yet to come on, the landline was never picked until I use my personal phone to call. Complimentary water and tea was not provided until we asked. In all I enjoyed the holiday but feel like the rooms are not worth the price because I can get a better service for less.

A great place for a get away. The palms surrounding the resort makes the place come alive at night. There are lovely art works around displaying our rich culture. One of the unique things there is the outdoor gym. It is a very romantic place to be. You could take a stroll around the resort, near the ocean while the breeze blows your face. The staff are highly professional and courteous. At night, the whole place comes to live with cool music. You get to choose from an array of very tasteful delicacies. There's a playground for children, a swimming pool, spa, and interestingly, a boat cruise. There are different categories of accomodations- chalets, apartments, single rooms, family rooms. An amazing place to visit

  • Sunday Oluwatola

Nice place to unwind leaving all the tension in the city behind. Efforts has been made to provide various games and relaxation facilities that require good patronage to maintain. It is at the shore of the lagoon so it has boat games, swimming pool, various land games, bicycle, tricycle, tennis, small zoo etc. Various bars and eating places but inside and outside spread out on the property. Good accomodation of various types. It has seen environment to meditate. Really well located and upcoming place. It needs more patronage all year round. Could be developed to have a Bahamas experience in Nigeria. The Federal or Lagos State government should work on the road from Lagos to Badagry. The road is a major minus now.

  • Esther Ofordum

It wasn't so bad but the lights are not constant. The generator came on in the evening and was put off in the morning. The breakfast was only for one. Your partner would have to pay 3000NGN for their food. That was not okay with me. Lunch and dinner costs 5000NGN. The reception staff were very welcoming and cheerful. I had no complaints about the staff, as a matter of fact, customer service was good. In all, it's an okay experience and the quiet surrounding alongside the chirping of the birds was very soothing and an experience outside the usual hustle and bustle I am used to.

I was there for 5 days for my honeymoon, the environment, the aesthetics, and the service were all excellent. They need to work on some things and do some upgrades, such as TV, better lighting at night, and an upgrade of the relaxation side by the lagoon. All in all, it was an awesome visit. Their food is amazing, and affordability, size, and taste as well as awesome customer service, and ready to help the attitude of the staff are pecks of staying in whispering palms. I will come back again.

Whispering Palms Hotels and Resort is quiet place to to chill. It's quiet, and for lovers of water bodies, it shares boundary with one. There are a lot of things to do at Whispering Palms; there's a lawn tennis court, swimming pool, a outdoor gym, table tennis, a mini golf. They also serve fresh coconut, good food and grilled fish and chicken is available in the evening. The hotel needs an upgrade especially in the rooms, they should consider replacing the old ACs that are becoming very noisy. They should also upgrade the mini zoo and make it more attractive. It's a fun place to spend time with family and friends.

POOR MANAGEMENT! I have been there! And honestly I regret it! All they are after is their huge gate fee! They don’t care about their customers satisfaction at all! Very selfish people! With their outdated and unmaintained resort!! The animals there are literally dying of starvation and malnutrition! Sometimes I wish that the white people would come manage the resort! Cos the people there are doing absolutely RUBBISH! They need to do better! (P.s am writing this after I just left there now!)

The receptionist was the only nice person we met at our last visit to Whispering Palms. The bicycle ride was more of a gym to us as the chains were stiffed. We asked for a replacement, but we were asked to manage. And at some points we decided to go have some fun on the water, not knowing we we're in for a bigger surprise, the pedals were bad, boat filled with water and the guide had to jump into the water to push US ( boat ) to the surface. We had one unused ticket each, for there was actually nothing/activity to do with. They live/operate far below expectations.

The resort has hard and edicated workers but I fear the resources might be a limitation to the services of the resort. There is great potential here and can be better. The beach area is serene. The food is great too. The existing service is great, but can be better.

I enjoyed my stay at Whispering Palms. Quiet, lovely, and enjoyed nature. The palm trees, etc. They have a mini zoo and museum. Also visited some historical places like the place of no return, first story building, how slavery started, etc. Visited the beach, and we had a tour guard. The food was great . Nice resort. When you get here, you might actually feel disappointed. But don't be disappointed or discouraged. Believe me you would enjoy this place. The swimming pool, bike riding, boat cuisinie (we did group competition) the fresh air, sight of water, Boat Transport to Lagos Highland. Room Reservation is fair. Reception is good. Security is strictly starting from the Gate. The workers have beautiful, welcoming Personality. Even if you came alone, you won't feel alone. I would recommend here for a rest period or retreat or vacation.

One of the best honeymoon destinations. Delicious meals, in house cinema, mini zoo, gym and a lot of activities to make your stay enjoyable. The place has a good water body for boat rides. Good sea view. You can actually propose here and also have a enjoyable romantic date. It has good volley ball court. A lot of sand dunes. Some good art work. However the internet connectivity here can be a bit poor. Also mobile network. Maybe because it is in a suburb. The road to this place is not so good. Be ready for some ruggedness

  • Olakunle Ajayi

The resort is well located for people with love for sea views. There are different secluded areas where one can relax and cool of. Nice apartment and clean environment with 24 hours power supply. However, the major challenge is food. The food was not good enough and extremely expensive in terms of quality and quantity. The kitchen staff was not friendly at all except for one out of like four, they serve you as if you are a beggar. We had to cut short our stay because of that. Aside from food, every other thing were ok.

  • osayamen oliha

My 2 day stay at the whispering palms was one full of excitement and fun. Met new people and played basketball and table tennis games, rode the lovers bicycle and a little bit of swimming. The building's are old but It's exterior are well looked after. However, the hotel is not high end with some of their fittings like plumbing out of shape (typical example is the room I was allocated). I searched for staffs of the hotel for a change of room but found non. There also is present a mini zoo and a play ground for kids.

  • Oluwatosin Simeon Folaranmi

This is a fun place to visit, blessed with a lot of side attraction. Various outdoor gym for all ages. I will recommend this place for new couples honeymoon will surely worth it at Whispering palms. Conducive lodge at no heavy cost. Outdoor games like Volleyball, football etc. There is also opportunity to have a great taste of coconut water drink. Boat ride, Bike ride, a museum, animal reserve and many more. Whispering palms sits beside a large body of water, this gives a wonderful natural atmosphere experience.

  • ADEBAYO SEGUN

I am giving this place five because it's actually a well planned resort centre ..it has facilities that are world class for a vacation..doesn't even look like Nigeria kinda...but the accessibility to the place might be difficult. Boat might be best ..then the place can be very dry because few people often go there for vacation except during festive period. The ambience is so world class as well as facilities ..the lodge is okay too and the reception plus food ..good place for honey moon /get away

Was a very serene experience. As far as location, it's very quiet. If you need a place to think, this is your best bet. Service was great, staff was courteous except for the guy I spoke with/chatted with to make the reservation. The standard room was okay, basic with a double bed, fridge and an outdated tv that still works. Took walks round the facility, and it was a great experience overall, didn't want to come back to civilization!

It gets a 10 for serenity but sadly, we spent five days here having booked and paid ahead only to have exhausted all it has to offer by the second day. A lot of the facilities created for fun just lay there wasted, deserted and dull. The food, extremely limited. We went in September but according to a staff, the place picks up in December during the holidays. I expect that as a resort, there should be some activity all year round because everyone has a different schedule.

Whispering palms was cool and is a good place if you want to escape the noise of the city. I think the facilities can be upgraded and with some investment, the place could be brought to State of the art. Then it could be a haven. I imagine work on the waterside with lights and nice boat rides. Give it some obodo oyinbo vibes. Bring all the facilities up to modern. That place is rough diamond.

Quiet and serene atmosphere. However the gen is on from 6pm-11am the next day, then they switch to the National grid. You know what that means. The meal taste good but a little expensive. Ensure you make plans for what to do their otherwise it's boring. PS. The boredom may likely be as a result of the fact that things are just opening up after the lockdown. The place has great potentials that is not maximised at the time we went there.

Quiet and low-key environment for parties, resort and more. Good chill spot and picture perfect too. The trees and flowers gives nice and attractive looks to your pictures. Both rides, swimming pool, cycling for 4 people or 2 people or for a while family around for about 15 minutes adds to the fun. It's a place enjoy when you go in group. It has historical sections about "Moremi" and the rest. It has a zoo too for some animals.

  • Akinropo Omoware

As it is the case, this place has been grossly mismanaged over time! Most things are no longer working. On Christmas eve and they can't even keep the power on... the trip to badagry is terrible and the place is not even making it better. Enjoy better beaches and resorts in Lagos rather than wasting your time coming here! Oh I couldn't do anything with the old box black and white tv... And the staff are not very professional!

  • Rilwan Amure

This place is a sanctuary for people who want to go to a cool quiet place far from home. It features so many exciting things to make your stay worth it. Some of what they have is a parking lot strategically placed in front of their accommodation area, a swimming pool, a bar/restaurant, a controlled environment at the shore of the Badagry creek and lots more. The buts of this place are that it is too far and very expensive.

  • Samson Odedina

For Nigerian standard not bad, good view, the prices are over the . In accordance to the state of the property & the services. Again in this area you will enjoy a quiet & pleasant moment, the pool is great and you can swim as much as u love. The road to get there as at now 01/2019 is in very bad shape and doesn't look like there's going to be a change in the near future, so go with a Jeep or drive very carefully.

A cool resort centre located in Badagry. It has lots of historic structures and its a really serene place for a getaway. They have a mini zoo, a lagoon and some cool views. Very affordable. Cool for family timeouts, tho the exterior could be better. The rooms are big and spacious. The Restaurant food is really good too. There are snacks..a cool bar, good barbecue, and a clean pool. Overall a good experience.

I’m giving whispering palms a five star ratting because of the management. They’re endless fun in the palms lots of activities to engage in, basket ball court, volley ball, swimming pool, gym, boat ride, etc. I also learned that you can take a luxurious boat from the palms down to island. Helping you beat road traffic. It’s a great place for honey moon and wedding. Lots of coconut and meals for everyone

  • Esther Ehikioya

Amazing and delightful experience. Beautiful artworks and artefacts. The Coconut Dispensary was the super duper feel for me - it was so natural, healthy and tasty to eat coconut and drink its water. Serene environment, good for meetings, vacations. It's a nice resort and it's affordable.

The experience was worth every Kobo spent. There are a lot of fun activities and a lot of things to see and learn. Members of staff are well trained and hospitable. Need to do better on the maintenance.

A bit far not easy to get public transport... Serene environment, buildings displaying much of the slave trade history....a swimming pool, tennis court, bars ....also has a mini zoo(I saw crocodile, monkey, horse, tortoise......in short a good place to go away from the busy Lagos life...... The coconut water was refreshing... Be careful of mosquitoes....they are not friendly

  • Fagbile Ademola

If you want an out on the Lagos hustle and stress to feel and enjoy nature. This is the best location. Although it almost looks like a long journey especially if one is not located in Badagry and its environs, but its worth the journey. With its Mini zoo and lovely environment, there is much to do here. Bicycle ridding, music, park games, water front, speed boat cruise. etc.

  • Folasade Adebawo

High points: Food taste was good though with few varieties, Lagoon front, ambience, good customer service. Low points: Facilities are not in top shape including rooms in terms of maintenance and cleanliness. The mini zoo has about 8 animals, the museum was fairly equipped. Overall, I think the resort stands a good chance to be better. The roads are being rehabilitated.

  • Tayo Okunaiya

Serene and extremely calming after the hustle and bustle of Lagos. Requires a 50minute boat ride from Falomo. Could be quite a hastle getting there by road depending on where you are coming from but it's worth a visit. A boat ride takes you down Badagry creek and throught some relatively pristine mangroves.

Not so awesome as the Pictures depict. If you've been to 3 or 4 star hotels, then you'd not be too pleased. My hopes were high due to the distance I had to travel to get here. The frontage and the rooms needs face lift. Food isn't the best. Let buffet be included even if at a higher cost. Staff are nice and courteous but seem there's no clear line of sight.

  • Jean J

relaxing place bit down but ok for a gate away. please note that the food is under anything acceptable i advise you to bring yours. bar it s fine but very limited choice. activity music , water pedal boat, pool, 4 wheels bicycle. some other games. no wifi and as soon as you enter the large compound the phone connection get bad. nice water front.

  • Abdulmuizz Momoh

An amazingly serene location to spend time with your family, friends, and partners. Refreshments are considerably affordable, however it is located extremely far from the express and maintenance seems to be a bit poor. Regardless of its flaws, its definitely a place to visit and be rest assured that you are going to have a fun time there!

My family and I spent our Christmas holiday of 2021 at whispering palms resort. We had such a great time that we knew we were definitely coming back! And we did so with friends Easter 2022. Already looking forward to our next visit.

Heavenly, in just one word! The owner of this beautiful beach resort must have conceptualized the place as bridge between the urban and the rural bringing closest to man in the most artistic way. A ride on the lake is such joy to behold, and a drink from the coconut dispensary is incomparable to no other experience.

  • Chinedu Osewezina

Nice place to be. Cool and calm. Need more precision in preparing their food to make sure the guest is satisfied. Water needs improvement so one can confidently drink the water without relying on bottle water.

Lovely place. Love the nature, far if one is coming all the way from Lagos. Lots of improvement needs to be done about food and staff as well as maintenance of the place. It isn't really value for your money in terms of services but it is a beautiful place with a lovely environment and very close to the lagoon

It's a nice place to relax. The environment is quiet, cool and welcoming. There are lots of fun activities in the resort and the food is fantastic. The room standard is average and the staff are welcoming. I would love to return (preferably by water transport). The roads are under construction though.

  • Festus Oluwasegunfunmi

Although it is a shadow of it early glory after the demise of it's owner, but it's still a get away spot to have quiet fun. Lot of the 80's and 90's still stares at you in their rooms though.

Whispering palm, Badagry What a lovely experience, a fun place to be with family, colleagues, friends. So much activities, games. I'd advise you go in a group or in numbers so as to enjoy the place. Boat ride, zoo is rated below average. In general, you're missing if you're not there yet

  • Eugene Austin

Nice place to be, 2012, the company I work with (WAPCO) always lodged us here. They have nice environment, good dinking bars, mini zoo, peddling boats, cool corners everywhere. Let the management do their best to keep the flag flying.

This is a very cool place to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of Lagos. The palm trees provide a great opportunity to experience nature. You can stay by the lagoon and stair into the skyline. The rooms are fair and at a very good price. You feel very relaxed and revitalised.

  • Victory Beauty

One of the best relaxation place in Lagos... They are not stingy with their food at all, the size is moderate and very delicious... The place is just a fun place to go to.. one advice tho.. if you really want to enjoy the place do go alone... There are so much fun things to do

  • Joy Solomon

Quite a distant place to locate but great ambience, great outdoor and indoor facilities. Restaurants and price, prices of food abit on the high side. Had a slight hitch here but fair customer relations. Great rooms and spacious ones too, although Google says 12k it is 15k.

Large complex but maintainance is flawed. An example - no refrigerator, no TV, no hot water to bath, location of AC is bad, no duvet etc etc etc in some of the rooms. I pray the management don't let this once magnificent edifice die a Nigerian death

My husband and I simply loved it. Our child did too. A perfect getaway for families, lovers, groups and individuals. A lot to eat and drink. Comfortable bed ( pillow was too hard for me). Interesting Historic places to visits. Lovely staff.

  • Adewole Adetayo

Bad access road, workers are not professional, they rely on public electricity during the day so their is not electricity during the day. They switch on the generator in the evening. Lovely place for a family vacation. Boat access available

Lovely concept for a resort but facilities are run down and not well maintained, particularly the guest rooms. Food is way too expensive for the quality and very little variety. Living on old reputation is what it looks like.

A beautiful getaway for couples. A nice tourist attraction for both young and old. A little rough around the edges that is being worked on. It will be better once the Badagry-Seme road is finished.

For a resort area, I expected more maintenance of their 'tools'. Imagine, they had crowd who wanted to use their bike and just 2 bikes were working. So, I'll say it's cool...but not well maintained
