Robin, the owner, apparently likes to use the “my word” is solid and can be trusted, which doesn’t seem to be the case. After visiting Whiteside Motors to look at a specific motorcycle, we called back at 4pm, the same day, and told his sales associate we would purchase the bike with cash on Saturday, the very next day. He asked if I was certain because it needed an inspection, and I said yes we will be in tomorrow, after 1pm. They said the motorcycle would be ready for me. When I called back Saturday morning at 11am, after renting a trailer, I was told they had just sold the motorcycle, to someone else. At first the owner denied knowing about me agreeing to purchase the motorcycle but then admitted his sales associate had told him I would be in today to pick it up. His answer was, “someone came in this morning with cash in hand” and Robin made the call to sell it to them instead. In my experience, the owner is definitely not a man of his word. I will not be going back to Whiteside Motors.

Robin over at whiteside is an awesome guy. I have bought 3 bikes from him and today I bought my 4th. Actually last week Thursday I bought a street bob that ended up having issues after getting it home. I called him today (tuesday) and he suggested I come in and talk with him. In 45 min he had taken the bike I originally bought back into inventory and had me on a new bike and out the door. He said that he would prefer that I be thrilled and excited about my new bike rather than upset because the bike wasn't running right. He could have been a jerk about it and he had ever right but he didnt. Robin has always had my business but now he has my trust. If you need a fair price, easy financing and a great experience the old school way visit Robin at Whiteside. You will be glad you did.

Seemed honest upfront, so I am shocked that 3 months later we have not received our plates or title and have had to get temporary tags renewed twice. It is appalling behavior that they keep blaming their title company for not sending the paperwork to the DMV. I am dismayed that Whiteside Motors can't take responsibility for their own contractors and fix this issue within a timely manner. Edit: Went in to sign new documents due to the incompetency of Whiteside's title company. When leaving were told "I hope to never do business with you again." The feeling is mutual, however extremely rude of you to say to a paying customer who just wanted you to follow Texas law. I hope no one else does business with this rude incompetent dealer either.

I had been looking to buy a later model Harley Davidson for a month or so and found 2 that were exactly what I was I wanting. They were both in Austin so I drove 2 1/2 hours (twice. long story) but Robin at Whiteside motors made me I deal on the one I wanted most. (The other one was at another dealer close by). Robin made the deal quick and easy. The bike is incredible. Looks like new, runs like new and I have put almost 1,000 miles on it in the last month since I bought it. No issues with the bike. No issues with the sale. Whiteside Motors is the place to go. The guys were great. Everyone was nice and friendly and didn't play games. Highly recommended!

Bought my fz8 about 3years ago. Great price but the owner originally said he would not sell my the bike basically because of my stature and sex. He made me wait through the weekend until Monday so I could think about it. Long story short, I got the bike and have never been so in love with a motorcycle. She is almost paid off (I took a loan out through my bank) and I have put about 10,000 miles on her. The selection of bikes here is great as well as the price tags, but if you are a female buying a bike here just be wary. I am sure the owner had my best intentions in mind but the way I felt walking out of the shop empty handed that day was simply awful.

Great experience with owner, Robin, and his son. Bought a 2014 Indian Chieftain and then had to delay coming to Austin to pick it up (I live in VA). Robin was great. He stored the bike for over two months while I tried to make travel arrangements in the midst of the COVID crises. When I finally got there he had the bike prepped and ready to go. I was out of there in 30 minutes. The bike is great and I am very thankful for the experience. They have a cool shop too. I definitely recommend these guys.

I was just visiting to gather information for the future, yet the manager (owner?) was generous with his time and walked me through the lot and showed me many options. They have all sorts of vehicles, including a large selection of motorcycles, vans, and everything in between. The courtesy shown me gives me confidence that they will support the sale when time comes for my great vehicular escape.

I ran out of gas half a block from this place and the neighboring gas station. I stopped in to ask if I could borrow a gas can and Robin was nice enough to drive me to get the gas and help me fill my motorcycle. He also answered some questions for me and gave some me some newbie advice. Really nice guy and I plan to take a look at their inventory when I'm ready to upgrade. Thanks again, Robin!

Horrible customer service. Asked a few questions through email and got told what they will not do for me. Not to mention the statements had absolutely nothing to do with my question. Then continues to be an ass assuming I am not a real buyer because I didn't call to ask questions as opposed to emailing. Reply in the emails says Robin Whiteside btw. Take your money elsewhere as I will be.

Can't say enough good about these guys. They got to me right away, and gave me a great deal on my first bike! They were friendly and knowledgeable. Rob even transported my bike home for me! I can honestly say that when I upgrade mine or buy my wife a motorcycle, Whiteside will be the first and only place I go! Thanks so much guys, couldn't have asked for a better buying experience.

Whent to thier website to look at thier inventory. Im in the market for a street triple rs, and they are selling a 2019 For $4000 over MSRP. Its 3 years old and your selling 4k over a brand new one. This is ridiculous. This review is based on thier inventory prices.

Smooth transaction. They loaded and tied down the bike for me, which as a novice was much appreciated. Most importantly, Whiteside held the bike for a week, allowing me time to coordinate the pickup. I would definitely buy from Whiteside again.

Got a great car for BB Value which most dealers up the price to atleast $1k over. If you want to buy w/o pressure, these are the guys to see. I've sent two additional customers that also had a great experience. Three times your IN Whiteside!!

Horrible service. Horrible language. Just wanted to hear about a bike and my fiance got cussed out by the owner. He must think everyone that comes in his shop doesnt have the cash. Went down the street bought a bike the same day.

I purchased a scooter here. They made it super easy and the price was very reasonable. I had used my bicycle to get there in the first place and they dropped off my bicycle home for me. I'm very happy with the experience.
