Haven’t gone to any dentist in over 15 years due to bad past experiences, but this place erased all of that. Started of by getting cleaning done and the hygienist was great. I then informed them of a broken tooth I had from over 15 years ago and was suggested a root canal. I wanted to wait for 3 months as I’m transitioning jobs, and I also didn’t want to get anything done too close to my sons 1st birthday. The team at the front desk called me a a day later highly suggesting that I take this chance to use my existing benefits before my benefits were up, and then come see them again to get a crown done once my new benefits started with the new job. I’m glad I listened cause this saved me thousands of dollars! The hygienist was great and the dentist and assistant that did my root canal were awesome. It was painless and this experience immediately erased all my bad experiences regarding the dentist. This team really cares about their patients. HIGHLY recommended

I had a filling done by Dr Yan that was not really needed in the first place but after the filling my bite was really off so i went to back to his clinic to get it fixed. He was in a hurry to do the fix and my bite was still off as i was telling him he rather rushed saying it was looking good and sent me home. Because my bite was still off my tooth was hurting everytime i was eating something so I made another appointment to get it fixed it again. This time he looked annoyed to see me coming back and he again rushed to fix it but my bite was still off. This time he pretty much indirectly told me not to come back again. I was highly disappointed with the treatment that i received from him so I went to another dentist to finally get it fixed. I would not recommend any patient to this dentist who doesnt have time for his patient and doesnt know what his is doing.

I love going to Whyte Ridge Dental Centre! My last cleaning was in November of last year. I was so happy that they were back in operation. There were extra precautions and changes to the cleaning procedures, all of which made me feel very safe. I had a new hygienist and she was super careful and explained all the new precautions to me very calmly. Dr. Yan was there to examine the great work he has done over the years and all was still perfect! My favourite employee, Heather was there and she always brightens my day! I have been very grateful for their outstanding service over the years and just referred my sister to the office and she was also very impressed and pleased. Thanks again for making me look forward to returning for my next cleaning!

Prompt and courteous reception. Efficient and gentle dental cleaning. Dr. Yan does his work with care to have appropriate anesthesia established, and with good explanation of why each step is needed. He coordinates with the dental assistant to ensure that preparation is done well. His dental repairs for my teeth have lasted over 30 years at least. He is sympathetic to dental concerns whenever I raise them. Five stars again for March 2021 appointment. Protective measures because of coronavirus are carried out well. Dr Mai checked my teeth this time and he is careful and sympathetic.

Best dental office I've ever been to! All the staff are the most wonderful kind helpful people, and they're super understanding of any fears or issues. I don't have insurance and they work with me to ensure I'm getting the care I need while staying within my budget, and just the friendly atmosphere makes me feel so comfortable there despite being a little nervous about the dentist. Seriously, I cannot recommend them enough! I never thought I'd be this enthusiastic about a dental office, but here we are haha

I have been a patient at Whyte Ridge Dental for over 18 years and always enjoy the experience. They are very accommodating with my schedule. I have had lots of dental work performed by Gary Yan and his team, or they have referred me for specialized treatments at other places who were just as good and the work performed was perfect. Heather always takes great care of making sure payment to insurance is processed quickly and is so friendly too and all the hygienists are wonderful!

I love everything about White Ridge Dental Centre. Both NIcole and Lisa were thorough and gentle when doing our cleaning and consulted with us in a very genuine caring way. I used to come here frequently for my dental works. I quit coming here and severed ties with this place because one of the upfront reception is downright rude and nasty. Instead of reasoning and looking for a solution, she opted to berate and yell at me over the phone. She needs to be trained on how to behave and treat their patients nicely. Wish I could give it 0 star.

I needed an emergency root canal when visiting Winnipeg from Florida. My friend called the dentist and I got in the next day and had the procedure. Everyone was caring and professional giving the best of care and assuring me I could come back the next two mornings if I need more work done. I was fine the next day. Thank you so much for everything!

They have lots of availability and they are very friendly. They also do direct billing which is huge! I hadn't been to the dentist in years and the hygienist did a great job and made me feel comfortable. Both the hygienist and dentist didn't make you feel guilty for not flossing everyday. Great location too, would recommend!

Dr. Gary Yan has been my dentist since the 80's. He, and now with Dr Tri Mai are skilled practioners of their trade. They are wonderful and friendly. Heather and staffs at the front desk keep the business running smoothly and on schedule. The dental hygienists are friendly and competent. No complaints. Highly recommended.

Im doing just after I got my cavity taken out. It was really fast and efficient. and I am so happy with there service, the lady that took me was so kind and gave me a really good pep talk which made me so much less nervous due to it being my first time. Overall! 5 STARS

We had some billing problem, the dentist called back within the same day and provide proposals to solve the problem. The receptionist could have done their job better by checking the patient's coverage before the treatment.

I have really good experience at the clinic. Dentist and hygienists were nice and knowledgeable and waiting time was like 2 mins only. I will totally recommend this clinic to my friends n family.

Do NOT go here. Dr Yan glued a retainer in incorrectly and shifted my bottom teeth and refused to fix his work and was terribly rude about it. The receptionist ladies are very sweet and helpful.
