I was a student who attended this school and i am here to tell you that it sucks. two of the teachers were absolutely horrible and I advise firing them. the two teachers are the art/drama teacher and the band/foods teacher what's what I know they teach. the only reason I'm giving it a three instead of a one is because I met my first friends here, and unlike at Lord Beaverbrook the teachers actually checked in to see if I was ok when I cried. (except for the two aforementioned "teachers") The principle and vice principle are both rude and treat the kids like toddlers. the principle gave me a toblerone once but I still hate her for manipulating me to the point were I was crying and also suspending me making me fear going home that day. The cafeteria is ok. they only serve grilled cheese and snack foods. over all I do not recommend this school unless you want a heavy no phone ban but awesome teachers. the phone ban is not joke though. one time the vice principle took me and three of my friends phones away, called home, and didn't give them back till the end of the day.

I love most of the staff (teachers etc) but. The principal seems like she has no idea what she is doing. She is rude to you and then the next day she acts like nothing happend, she does not care for your mental problems and only cares that your "learning time is not introuded, by less important things". One time earlier this year I was in the office because I was having a mental breakdown. It's a long story but in conclusion, she yelled at me for crying, she said to me and I QUOTE "I will get your mom to take you to a walk in clinic, so you can get the help you obviously need." Not only is that rude. That's unprofeconal and not okay to say to a crying 13 year old.... not that's just not okay to say to anyone. And then she acts like nothing happened now.

Despite this place being very uncleanly, and the students being overall disrespectful and making so many people uncomfortable due to the dress code, and the issues around the school like the temperatures, and just it being an overall loud school it doesn’t really end up being as bad as people say. The Vice Principal Mr. Paris is genuinely such a nice, caring, and funny person who strives to try to have the best relationship with all of the students, he has done a lot for me and people i know, he is the reason that I may be getting a psychiatric assessment, truly such a genuine person, best staff member he deserves a raise.

This administration does not care at all about their students. Clueless and careless principal with zero clue how to work with students. My daughters in grade 8 there and it's been a joke!!! Disrespectful teachers who admit to name calling students. Principals who defend said actions while trying to hold children to higher standards than she can even hold her own staff. My youngest has been registered for Willow Park to avoid Wilma! Fingers crossed that with new administration, the school will improve for future students.

I wish I could give it zero stars because this school is not a good school. The kids get bullied, there's fights, it never gets cleaned properly to the point where there is mice. The teachers have no emotional sympathy for students and will YELL AT STUDENTS who do nothing wrong. Students also have no free will to change their options (especially grade nine band students who are being forced to stay in band). So I do not reccomend as long as you have some mental stability.

Please control the teachers tempers as over this summer my child was finally brave enough to inform our family where one crossed the line. But I think so far the school does okay - there are good teachers with Mr. Landry being one of the top best at what he does! Thank You Mr. Landry for your patience, understanding and passion. My child enjoyed learning from you very much and why they're not afraid to go to school like some students which effects their learning.

Some teachers are chill some arent. Schools dirty and the kids are the absolute worst. The teachers always pick favourites and are bias to the point a teacher said the n word and let a white kid say it without a care in the world but suspended a black kid for it bc she didnt like him. Honestly hate this school avoid it at all costs never send your kids here youll regret it.

I went there last year and I was bullied SO much, the principle Ms Siska didn't do anything to stop it, I was told to kill myself and she said it was my fault and made me say sorry like, WHAT?! I didn't do ANYTHING WRONG other than get upset and for a seventh grade girl being told to take her own life, I think that's understandable.

This school is so dirty i slipped on a dead mouse and fell and the principle started laughing at me and didnt help me up. i was in foods class one time and there was a cockroach and the teacher picked it up and put it in our pot of water and said have a nice meal and forced us to eat it

the janitor was creepy one time i was in the boys washroom and the janitor walked in and went into this grade 7 kids stall and all i hear is moaning and then the janitor walked out with the little kid and the kids hair was all messed up and his belt wasnt on

Honestly the school was okay Mr pew was really bad and so I was my sister Mr Harding gets mad at you for like not participating in gym he's most of the teachers are all really rude if you want to go to that school it has a strict phone ban

Ask yourself this, people: do you know any adults that had a good time in junior high school? Because I don't. News flash - your environment isn't making you miserable, you're thirteen and you won't be happy until you're 30. Hang in there.

  • Hussein L

They don't care about the students...they don't even let you know if your child is absent. Would be devastating if your child was kidnapped and you had no idea until 8 hrs after the fact.

  • alex

took a trip to this school for the next year and the students are very nice and the teachers respect you and you will have different classes to chose from over all its good

  • Michayla Turner

The lack of cleanliness in this school is concerning, not to mention spending several hours a day in it. My goal of going to school is to learn not catch a disease.

  • what

  • Ally Gordova

Very nice place but it must get some renovations. The elevator needs to be renewed. Overall sooo good. Ms. Flanigan deserves a raise.

  • Kai Locking

It's a nice school but it needs some renovations. My sister goes to a school like 10 years older than this one and it looks newer!

  • Engineer Gaming
