We actually had a terrible experience on our first ride because of the atrocious behavior of other guests, and after that, my review would have been 1 star, but I am happy to report that the manager allowed us to ride again (with a quieter, smaller group) for free, so we were able to actually enjoy the experience. This is just like Soarin' at Disney or Fly Over America at the Mall of America. It does not go as high as those, though, so a fear of heights shouldn't stop you. We thought this version was a neat combination of the lobby/clock tower show at Great Wolf Lodge and Soarin'. The preshow uses talking/moving totem characters and a video of a funny park ranger to introduce the story and talk about safety. It's very well done and pretty. There are stunning visuals, scents (pine, tulips, etc) and a couple of times that you are misted with water.

Wings Over Washington Seattle Waterfront Pier 57 State of Washington themed amusement ride. Hang gliding flight simulator in 5k ...the Bald Eagle is your flight guide. Spectacular aerial footage takes you on a fast paced journey... through the States most beautiful landscapes. Fly with swimming Orcas through the Puget Sound and the San Juan islands... Traverse the heights of the Cascades, escapade onto Mt Rainier and then Mt. St Helens. Experience white river rafting... Then the Falls at Snoqualmie and Deception Pass. Fly with and around Hot Air Balloons in Eastern Washington. Onto the Space Needle... Elliott Bay and the Great Wheel. And back to Pier 57... where it all started. A lot of fun packed into 15 minutes. Recommend for kids and families... and all tourists alike... visually rewarding experience... with spectacular cinematic heights. Cost of admission $20... at ticket booth near entrance. Very similar to Orlando Epcot's 'Soarin...

Very fun, if somewhat flawed. Good as an add-on activity for a group if you are coming to the waterfront anyway. I think it could be improved in several ways: - Video felt like it lacked sharpness and clarity in several places - I wish that instead of adding CGI to the natural footage they had used more great cinematography to maximize punch - The mist spray feature is probably meant to heighten the sense of immersion, but can have the opposite effect. When you hear the nozzles going it reminds you that you are not really flying over a waterfall, but sitting in a manmade amusement contraption - I wish the corny intro experience were shorter and the main experience were longer

This is a 4D theatre experience and takes you through an aerial view of Washington state. The experience is amazing. You get mist and fragrance while passing over seas and tulips. The 180 degree screen is amazing and is worth to watch. Quality of footage is blurry at some locations, but others are superb. The transitions between locations can be improved to a professional quality. Price is on a higher side for a 5-10 min show. Waiting time is high since the space is very small. But overall, a good experience and is a must visit when you visit Seattle.

Tried to visit Wings Over WA the Tuesday before Thanksgiving with family and pre-purchased tickets online. Showed up right at 11:00 when they were supposed to open only to find out it is closed until 2:00 for a lighting upgrade to the wheel (which shouldn't impact Wings anyways). Website mentions nothing about Wings Over WA being closed, only if you are buying a ticket for the wheel does it indicate that part is closed until 2:00. The whole Miners Landing is run down and pretty disappointing in general. Do not recommend.

I see the potential and beauty of this attraction but, unfortunately, I was with a group of 10 or so obnoxious people who were literally talking and screaming during the entire ride. I could barely hear the music. The staff did nothing about it, and even encouraged their ruckus, such as stomping and clapping along with the group, prior to the start of the ride. People were taking flash photography and recording the ride. The staff yelled at them after the ride for that, but did nothing to quell the volume or photos during the ride. I had high hopes for this, but it fell quite short of expectations.

Amazing experience! You would never think it’s a simulation ride, it just feels so really as if we roamed all Washington in 10 minutes! It’s super realistic, at times I felt I’ll fall into the trees, moutain lol. Me and my parents visited this place first time last year and loved it so much that my parents wanted to visit it again this year on their trip to US too! We did it second time and felt exactly like the same! You won’t get bored at all, worth the money definitely.

This is amazing one stop 4D show to cover all travel and exploring places in Washington state. The entrance has a waiting lobby which seems to be misleading to what you may see inside! If you are resident to Seattle or visiting as a tourist this is must stop by place. Accompanied by giant Seattle wheel which gives breathtaking view from top to the city and around waters. The night view can also be a worth the wait if going around day time! You may encounter beautiful city lights twinkling stars if clear sky!

  • Debbie Richards

I generally only leave positive reviews, but I feel like some balancing of the ratings is needed. Is WOW paying people for reviews? The ride itself is ok, but it's $41.50 a couple and the actual experience is a couple minutes long (if you don't count the corny ranger filler). Washington is in great need of an amusement park if people really think this is exciting. Other riders sort of killed the thrill with their non-stop comments. I can't recommend. Save the money and buy an airplane ticket.

  • Anna B W

Exhilarating experience and so fun! Really felt like I was flying over Washington. We waited about 40 minutes outside in the cold and rain (not much of a covered area). There were many stairs to go up and down so I’m not entirely sure how it would work for ADA. It’s also hard to rationalize $20 for such a short time but still a cool and unique experience especially if you’re visiting Seattle. Go with with good company and it’s even better. The area around is nice to visit for shops and food.

  • Christy Wilkens

We love CA Adventure's Soarin' ride, so when we realized this was along the same lines, we quickly bought tickets. Though it is on a smaller scale, you will not be disappointed! The scenery is great, the virtual reality feeling is really, really good, and it has the same breeze effects and scents to match what you are flying over ... plus a little bit more that the CA Adventure's ride does not have. You'll have to go find out for yourself! Would do this again in a heart beat!

  • Lakshmi Vaidiyanathan

This is something everyone in Washington and who visits Washington should go for. A friend of mine took my mom and I as a surprise, so I had zero expectations. I was in awe!!! all through the ride, I will not spill any spoilers. This is a hidden gem and great for everyone. Lots of appreciation for the team who created this and maintaining this. Bravo!

I experienced the Wings over Washington ride with my friends and the experience was epic. It was my first time trying anything like this and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The room before the ride truly gives u amazing facts about Washington and sets the tone for the ride accurately. You can buy the tickets online or over the counter and it's valid for 1 year so you can walk to the queue whenever you are free. Only one complain, the ride duration was too short.

  • Raul Garcia

I came to The Fisherman's Restaurant & Bar half an hour ago, and they have barely managed to ask for my drink order. They have attended to other people who arrived after me without bothering to inquire about my needs. It's disappointing to experience such poor service at a place with a promising name like The Fisherman's. I hope the restaurant takes steps to improve their efficiency and customer service in the future.

  • Brittney Colton

Definitely better than the Ferris Wheel and Carousel, but for how quick the ride was the price was too much for one adult. $18 for one ride that last 10 minutes total. The effects and scents were cool and on point, but the ticket should be unlimited usage or the price should come down.

It was a good experience, especially the Comical improv at the beginning. 4D theater experience was very well, somehow to my surprise, footage looked little blurry. Coming from Vancouver & after having similar experience at "Fly Over Canada" there, I was a bit taken back. But if you are going to first time watch something like this or accompanied by Kids. You will surely enjoy it !

A wonderful ride!! It transforms you into an eagle and gives you the best views as you fly over Washington State. The theatre provides effects to go along with the views you're seeing such as wind blowing in your face or a mist spray, etc. I didn't know this was on the pier, but it ended up being my favorite activity! There is no photography allowed inside though.

  • Sara Beth Wade

Really so much better than I expected! Sort of a pacific northwest version of Soarin' in Epcot in Florida. The ride system in the same, and the ride itself and the preshow are all really well done! I was super impressed. It's particularly a nice way to get inside on a hot day and get off your feet. It's expensive, but it's worth it if you like Disney-like rides.

  • JB

The ride was fun, but for the price ($18/adult), it was not worth it. It is very, very short. The ticket booth was confusing. It wasn't clear where we were suppose to purchase the tickets. The entrance to the ride was confusing as well. I know they are doing construction, but everything is old & looks run down. It's not a must see attraction.

  • Davis

This was the highlight of our whole trip! Everyone in our group wanted to do it again. Seriously, it's awesome. You won't regret it. They don't let you film inside for obvious reasons. Don't let that deter you!

Poorly managed! Walked to the arcade with the kids. 1st machine, took our money (didn't work). 2nd machine, took our money (didn't work). 3rd machine, took our money (didn't work). 5 dollars gone to "play at your own risk". Walked over to "shooting gallery". Out of service sign on it. Place looked old and poorly taken care of overall.

I wanted to go back again immediately after coming out! One of a kind, this VR experience is phenomenal I would say. The virtual ride gives you a real adrenaline rush as you go though so many beautiful landscapes experiencing paragliding/parasailing and many such thrilling activities. They have nailed it!

  • I U

What an amazing experience I had. I wasn’t expecting much but this was beyond. First of all, I loved the safety instructions and introduction in the beginning. It was unique funny at the same time. The ride was super fun and felt so real! I’ll do this again for sure and would strongly recommend you to go.

  • Deepthi Rao

Loved it! The experience in the beginning of the ride is really nice. Very short trip but the whole experience is quite interesting. The initial introductory talk sounds a little silly but the younger folks might enjoy that part too. No harm in trying it out once in case you haven’t yet done so …

This experience reminds me of a IMAX 6D experience in Galveston Texas and the 4D experiences in Disney World in Florida. there is some really cool smells and the wind in your face and the 3D experience with the chairs moving I wasn't sick at all. Very fun and will do again. Highly recommend.

Was quick, less than 15 minutes from entry of the building until exit of the ride for $19. If you like Soaring Over California at California Adventures, it is similar, but with not as nice of graphics. Was a fun little stop, but don't think it was worth the money for how short it is. More

This was amazingly engaging! Like a Disney immersive ride you do feel like you are flying. See all corners of Washington State in 15 minutes from Puget Sound to Snoqualmie Fall and the Palouse to the Olympic Rainforest. Even the teens in our group said they'd go again!

  • Roseanne M

Awesome ride. Great views. It really feels like you are flying with ocean mists and the scents of wood and flowers. Amazing! Staff were very kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend. Easy to find at Miner's Landing on the waterfront. Close to the big ferris wheel.

  • Randi Eckhoff

It's literally 3 mins long. Not worth the price. Which sucks because the ride and the video quality are excellent but if you're going to charge 20 a person it needs to be longer
