This is meant as constructive, we all need some of it at times :-) Unfortunately not impressed, phones not answered, please consider diverting when staff is on leave, also divert emails, technology is available and it might do wonders for your efficiency and business, not to mention client's frustrations and stress levels :-) Also accept the customer's version and verify discreetly, preferably not "Who told you 'Tom' is on leave?" (I thought I said Tom's return email indicated ... but even if I didn't ...) An apology if you made an error will also be appreciated Also, it's advisable when a big contract is awarded to gear up and expect challenging times However, please accept my apology if we are not always the clients you hoped for Lastly, all of the best with your business, especially after Lock-down Thank you for the opportunity Kind regards JS
