Food is always however my last visit was my last. It pains me to have left this place that I've patronized for nearly 10yrs however I simply CANNOT continue giving my money to those with nasty attitudes My last visit I sat down to eat with my family and ordered drinks to the table. I asked for cups of ice because we had already purchased drinks for my children because they do not offer children's drinks on the menu. They brought the cups filled with water and I politely asked the waiter to exchange them with ice only and he removed himself to a whole nother station and ignored my request completely. In an attempt to continue to ignore me the order I had placed for the appetizer he never took so I had to place my order with someone else no one there after came back to ever take our orders so after the first appetizer that we all split and had two pieces each I decided to just pay for what I ordered and go because they were so rude no one wanted to take our order. They had an attitude about changing the cups for ice and I've spent so much money in this place over the years. I've tipped, I've been very kind and I've referred them to others and given them Stellar reviews on every website that I comment on including Facebook and the check ins and I'm no longer interested in dining with them. It's really sad how some businesses cannot keep the great customers that they have due to their lack of great customer service and care when dealing with people that patronize their business. Word of Mouth goes very far good or bad unfortunately I no longer have anything good to say about them. #Disappointed

A group of us ordered food for lunch to have delivered from Wok on Fire. Collectively we spent over $80.00 and we've never had an issue before but today was really bad. We received the call that the food has been delivered the driver refused to hand over the lunch until he got a tip! Not believing this is happening, the driver stood his ground and put the food back on his car not allowing me to verify the order was even correct. The driver received the tip and guess what...the order was incorrect! We called back to Wok on Fire and talked to the manager to tell him what occurred and instead of an apology, he said that due to Mother's Day we're too busy and said sorry I can't help and bring back the food and to my surprise, he hung up. TWICE! Didn't quite understand the rationale for that especially since this order was placed on Tuesday May 9th. So needless to say since we're at work, we were unable to take the food that was just delivered that we couldn't receive until we paid the ransom demand. Movind forward we'll be going to Natalee Thai instead.

This place was the worst, inside and outside. What a dump! Wish I could give -5 stars. It was over priced and the food was nasty! I placed an order of the salmon sushi. It was $7 for 2 pieces of fish. One was edible, the other was so sinewy I couldn't even bite it. And it did not even look fresh! So I paid $7 for one piece of fish. I also order the crispy honey walnut dinner. It was $20 but I still had to pay extra for rice. And the shrimp tasted under done. And now, this morning I haven't been off the toilet yet. Not sure which dish poisoned me but I'm almost positive it was both. I paid $32.00 for food poisoning. Shame on you Wok on Fire. Don't ever eat here folks.

Wok on fire has good food and they give you a good portion. However, as I tell every, Chinese, and Thai restaurants do not put any MSG in my food. Because it make your mouth dry and it makes you sleepy. If the food is fresh and seasoned good, no Restaurant has to put MSG on the food. It is not healthy.... I have been eating from Wok on Fire for about 13 years and I like the Singapore Style noodles, wonton soup, they are very stingy on the shrimp. The inside to eat in is very small and the tables are too close, no privacy. They also watch as if they don't want you to linger around because it's so small and they don't want to miss customer's service. I rather get my food to go. Then to feel I have to rush and eat.

Best Asian food in central LA. From Japanese to Chinese, we ordered Mongolian Beef for my hubby and I had the Baked Salmon roll ( with soy paper), both were mouth watering, delicious, the variety on the menu is insane. We always order delivery, super fast, perfect packaging, and chinese cookies. The delivery person is super polite ans charming. The people taking the orders attentive and kind. The lunch menus is amazing and cheap, comes with salad and egg roll. Also no GMO. Love this place.

Payday was aways Wok on Fire day when I lived in Pico/Robertson. Hands down MY FAVORITE orange chicken in Los Angeles County. Its crispy and fresh made to order. I always get their chicken fried rice with it that is also delicious on it's own. The Crab ragoon is also addictive. This place is meant to be a TAKE OUT restaurant. It's tiny and they have three cramped tables in there and boy do they get busy so I highly recommend not eating inside. On a side note- my husband and roomates all agree- leftover chicken fried rice and orange chicken tastes even better after being in the fridge a day or two.

I usually Oder sushi and it's always good but today it was old and had a funny after taste. I called to complain and they act like its my fault I lost my lunch time they want me to take it back after work I asked them to send their driver to pick it up and they said we can't do anything! I'm disappointed at the service they could of said sorry well give you something different instead of acting like I'm making up stories .. Rude service !!!

  • S Mayeda

I haven't been here in a couple years. It's definitely a hole in the wall and the parking isn't very good. But the food was always great. I ordered my favorite lunch dish, spicy garlic chicken. It comes with an egg roll, salad, rice and white meat chicken with broccoli. Delicious as I remember. It's a little more expensive now at $10.

BEST fried rice I've had since living in Los Angeles. Tastes exactly like St. Louis styled Chinese food. I got the chicken fried rice without peas and carrots, but add onions. The chicken in the rice was AMAZING and the rice didn't even need Soy Sauce. It was PERFECT.

I order Singapore Rice Noodles, one of my favorite Chinese dishes. The portion size was hearty, juicy bits of chicken, succulent shrimps and scallions. Loved it. Also ordered Spicy Garlic Chicken which was tasty. Very good value for money given that both were under 9 bucks. They deliver for n additional 2 dollars which is a plus in case you are feeling lazy.

  • Garth Franqui

I admire this place! They serve good meals, their menu is rich, The cook in that place is a real pro, I like very much trying all their dishes. The food is always fresh and tasty, the attitude towards the clients is very good too. I often eat in this restaurant and I not even once was disappointed. I recommend it with no hesitation.

Great hole-in-the-wall place! Their orange chicken is very good, and don’t skip out on the crab rangoon. I have yet to order something where the portion wasn’t big, so easily with the price. I normally order online and the food is ready within 20 minutes at most. It’s always hot and tastes great!

  • Marshall Shakro

We ordered 3 different chickens to give them all a shot. Wasn’t a huge fan of the Smokey chicken texture or flavor but general chao and sesame were by far the greatest I’ve had in awhile in LA. I would recommend those two dishes but not the Smokey flavor. Sauces were thick and delicious!

  • Karlene Brown

New favorite spot. I've been back twice in the past 24 hours. So good. Chicken Lo Mein and Garlic Chicken were both incredible. Excellent egg rolls (and they give you sweet and sour sauce as well as hot mustard. Plus they do lunch specials!! We're in love with this restaurant so much.

  • Omari King

I typically don’t give bad reviews but this place was awful. Honestly I wanted to dispute it on my credit card that is how bad it was. Very over priced and the staff were extremely rude! Idk who they paid to do the good google reviews but I’m sure they had to pay to get them.

  • Cami Kidder

I love this place. Best Walnut Shrimp, Crab Rangoon and Pad Thai within 10 miles, worth the drive for sure. They make sushi here too. Not much atmosphere or many tables, but take out rules the day anyway. Small parking lot, but lots of turnover so we always find a spot.

  • Samantha Gonzalez

The best orange chicken and Tokyo fried rice in West Los Angeles! I've avoided orange chicken due to the poor quality at most places, but wok on fire hits the spot. The food is made with love and the portions are wonderful. I would 100000000% recommend this place!!

  • Terra Perez

The avocado roll was great, had a lot of avocado! But the spicy garlic eggplant was good at first but second look it was drenched in wayyyy too much oil and I couldnt see it really because the takout dishes are black. I thought the oil was sauce which is all bad.

  • Lloyd Cain

The food is very tasty. I enjoyed the spicy seafood soup. You can see the cook's fixing the food. The service is very good and the people are very courteous. The only drawback is that the place is small, three maybe four small tables. Most people order to go.

  • L Lmola

I Love Wok on Fire! Good Shrimp Tempura, Shrimp Fried Rice, Nice Black Pepper Steak/Chicken. Great WonTonSoup! Always have Fortune Cookies Orders Ready Fast! Delivery Guys are Great too!

Not the same owners horrible customer service horrible food quality because now they are using cheap quality food to cut cost I've been a customer here since 2010 and driving 3 times a week from Manhattan Beach ca. Not anymore this place sucks 10000000%

  • S R

It was mediocre. The price of the sushi doesn't match the quality. The seaweed they use is pretty tough to chew. The place itself is quaint and cute. Some of the other food might be great but in my opinion the sushi should be eaten elsewhere.

A friend of mine told about this place Wok On Fire and I was pleasantly caught off guard! You can't always go by appearances. When I first saw this place, I thought it was just a hole-in-the wall spot. Far from it! I ordered the Teriyaki

  • Rose Major

This place is amazing! I am currently in front of the location writing before I could even finish my food! I am from Saint Louis and this is the closest restaurant that tasted like home! The customer service was amazing! Very respectful !

  • Neoshi Martin

Love this place! Everything they make is fresh! The salad is crisp! They only use chicken breast and quality beef in all there dishes. It is my go-to for authentic Chinese food made to order. Try them, you will not be disappointed.

  • The Courtney Family

Worst food. They used to be good. No more. Seafood soup which was way overpriced was really bad, not much seafood, most a watery tasteless broth. Orange chicken tough and not fresh, in long chunks. N

  • Robert Jerdee

2 egg rolls which I devoured in the car sweet sour chicken and small fried rice about 25 bucks. The sauce wasn't bad but the chicken was surprisingly good like this is quality meat here good More

I've only ever done take out here. The fried rice is great, same with most of their chicken entrees. Not sure it's really worth dining at the restaurant, but for take out it's good

  • Josh Winiarz

I had the Teriyaki chicken tonight and it was dry as a bone. The Miso soup tasted like water, and the Pad Thai was tasteless. I don't recommend the food at all. It really sucks.
