I had an extremely unhappy experience in wollicreek station about 10.29 am. I'm not able to put the staff's Id number here cause he recused to provide it. But he would be an Indian guy and 180 cm tall, he stood next to staff room about 10.20am ( no offense and no discrimination, that is all information I got). The whole story is that I need to use toilet but I didn't bring my opal card. I kindly ask this staff that can you please open the door I just want to use the toilet. He said no, you can use your bank card. I mentioned that there will be some charges. He said no charges, (but I used the bank card to pay for train and realised the fares will be different). I want to get the confirmation so I asked him are you sure? He hesitated one sec and reply if you trust me you can use, if you don't trust me don't use. First of all, staff who working in train station suppose to know about in this situation whether my bank card will be charged or not. He need to give me a reckoning answer, but what he said is totally not professional. Secondly, staff working in station are doing customer service role too. I don't think that was proper service attitude. I paid for training every week, what I paid for is not only the driver plus the train itself, this amount of money are also covering the service part. I understand the toilet in train station is not for all public, but I buy train ticket everyday, although if your staff reckon I won't get access into train station toilet unless whichever card taped, at least, staff who working there have to be friendly people. Thirdly, if this staff working attitude is very common, treat all the other people same as me, his attitude will be a problem. If he only treat me like this way. Can I suspect that he was discriminating me? I finally went to bathroom tapping my bank card. I got back to him to request his staff id he declined. Then I told him my complaints and concern regarding the charges issue of my card. I said I will claim this money back from your station, he keep saying that I can't claiming money from station. He was too not professional, I even suspect he didn't received any proper training before he start his role. I lived in Australia about 6 years, definitely he is the worst staff I have ever met. I'm glad to pay service fee to any other staff except from him.

The service is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! I found my wallet with the support of an incredibly sweet supporting man! He was so helpful, I wish I had asked for his name to mention him exclusively in this review! The trains had track word at Revesby so I had needed to take a bus from Revesby to Wolli Creek and make my way to the city. As i got off my bus from Wolli Creek I planned to take my opal out of my wallet. Though i could not find my wallet. I knew I left it in the bus. I thought it was impossible to get it back. "Oh, I'm preparing a death lecture from my family for the next 10 years of my life. My wallet had everything important inside!" I had asked the man working at the bus stop during track work on how I could get my wallet, tracking down my bus number and waiting for the bus to come back. I was so traumatised and thought I might as well die since my life was already practically missing or worse, stolen. I waited for a solid half an hour which many not seem long but I needed to go somewhere asap. I thought once the bus comes I'll try to find the wallet and hopefully everything will be okay. But it turns out that ONE bus that had a wallet in it would be instructed to go to a different location rather than Wolli Creek. It was a sign of bad luck, I was not prepared for the next page to the story. He called mutiple people and found a way to find out if my wallet was there to be picked up and delivered back to me. I went to my event whilst giving him my detais to update me on the crews findings. He was incredibly realible, don't know if I can say that to all the workers there but hopefully they are too! He found my wallet, I came back from my event an hour later back to Wolli Creek and he had my wallet stored safely in his car. Everything was still inside utnouched and in the same position as before! Asbolutely perfect! Cannot thank this man enough! Thank you so much to the man with the strong Australian accent. So nice, supporting, funny, helpful and innocent. Nothing has never motivated me more to write a review on google! He was a 'bloody' life saver!

Wolli Creek railway station is located at the junction of the Airport and Illawarra lines, serving the Sydney suburb of Wolli Creek. It is served by Sydney Trains T4 Illawarra line, T8 Airport & South line services and NSW TrainLink South Coast line services. History Wolli Creek station was built as part of the Airport line opening on 21 May 2000. The name derives from a local creek branching from the Cooks River, and Wolli Junction is the name of the original junction point for the East Hills line from the Illawarra line at this site. In the initial concept for the Airport Line, no station was to be provided at this site, however the State Rail Authority decided to construct a station here as an interchange point with the new Airport line and the Illawarra line.[2] The station, unlike the others built on the line, was constructed with government finance and hence is owned by the Transport Asset Holding Entity. In the initial concept and design phase, the station was named North Arncliffe, however this was changed to Wolli Creek in 1998.[3] During construction, a set of points allowing the cross-over of trains from the Illawarra local lines to the Illawarra main lines was moved further south. A secondary motivation was to promote urban renewal around the station site. The station is located on a former industrial site and siding, and the area around the station was occupied by light industrial businesses when the station opened. Since the station's opening, the suburb has been significantly redeveloped with high density housing which as of 2015 is ongoing. As part of this development, the Airport line platforms have been partially covered over.[4]

Ah, Wolli Creek station. Wolli Creek is an interchange station situated just outside the edges of the city, connecting the T4 and T8 lines, in a sort of criss-cross manner. Somebody at one point in time approved this design and thought it was a great idea. You'll soon find out that it can be anything but, especially if you need to change trains between the two lines, you're essentially f**ked. A few minutes at almost any other station is more than enough time to change platforms and board a new train. This is easier said than done however, when you're trying to wade through hordes of people, many whom will surely have luggage, prams and other obstacles to navigate, through the narrow underground passage. (try the EXTRA hard mode difficulty mode when there's delays or router alterations!) Wolli Creek was built under ground, surrounded by and overshadowed by apartment buildings so large and gaudy they're very reminiscent of eastern bloc architecture , perhaps not looking at all out of place with a certain Eastern European nation prior to the 1990's, comrade. On a weekend night, this station is quite safe compared to many others across Sydney, if only because the station itself is too large and too complicated for drunken simpletons to navigate, or because hazy commuters are coming back from the city and don't have to use it on their way back to the Shire, or Campbelltown. 3/5 Stars.

Major station on the T4 and T8 located in one of Sydney's best examples of urban renewal and transit orientated development. The station is well serviced with every train making a stop here. The layout however is not ideal as the platforms for the T4 and T8 are located some distance away from each other (though I understand this was probably due to engineering challenges) which can make for inconvenient transfers. This is especially in relation to how services are timed. Many T4 and T8 services arrive at the same time or within minutes of each other, often forcing you to wait for the next train when transferring between lines (though sometimes they are a more comfortable 3 minutes apart). In addition the T4 platforms are very susceptible when there are high winds.

Wolli Creek station is a modern train station facility which acts as an interchange for the Bankstown and airport lines, and the Illawarra line. It serves as the main transport hub for the isolated Wolli Creek village and is located just across the river from Tempe station. There are a total of four platforms at wolli Creek station going both northbound and southbound directions. There is a large amount of sheltered waiting areas. Trains arrive quite frequently as Wolli Creek is a major station where all trains will make a stop. The platforms are well lit and tidy. The interchange from the airport/Bankstown lines to the Illawarra line requires you to go up the stairs or take an elevator.

Wolli Creek Station is an interchange for the T4 Eastern Suburbs and Illawarra line, T8 Airport and South line and the South Coast Line. Platforms 1 and 2 are for City Circle and Central services as well as Macarthur, Campbelltown and Revesby while 3 and 4 are for Kiama, Port Kembla, Bondi Junction, Hurstville, Waterfall and Cronulla services. There are lots of stores outside of the station to have a break. You can also go to the nearby Discovery Park to relax. Wolli Creek Station features indicators, toilets, lifts and on-site staff to assist commuters and passengers.

Interchange station for T4 Eastern Suburbs and Illawarra Line, T8 Airport Line and South Coast Line. Trains are frequent and the station is conveniently located, close to apartments, supermarket, cafes and shops, however toilet facility is severely lacking (and the station will only get busier). The toilets were shut at 9pm, despite there was a queue for the toilet, the employee decided to clean it and then shut the toilets for the night. There are no public toilets nearby.

  • Marcia George

Very convenient station, close to Woolworths and other retailers, plus restaurants, cafes etc. Big but... Don't get caught there waiting for a train on a windy cold day, you'll find there is nowhere to go to avoid the cold winds. The waiting area has been poorly designed and they have left the waiting public exposed to the weather. You have overhead protection but you will shiver from the cold winds with no escape.

  • Silviana Tulus

Please at least let the toilets accessible until midnight... some people like me, sometimes unexpectedly urgently need toilet while waiting for our train to come.... some people just not able to hold on until their train come, and until they reach home.... certainly we don't want to illegally do our business in random places... while the males may able to do it, us females will have very hard time holding on....

  • Midnight Obsydian

A lovely station on the T4 and T8 train lines, Wolli Creek station is in the centre of the beautiful urban suburb of Wolli Creek, offering great public transport at a moment's notice to all residents. The station has many platforms and is featured even on many express trains, providing more options for visitors. Bathrooms are present and the station offers food vendors within its premises and nearby.

  • chandra grg

That toilet cleaning guy need to learn how to speak with people.... he was blocking two toilets at the same time to clean it and one of them was not even blocked properly. I asked him can I use it, his reply was “go away”..... as we all know sometimes it’s very urgent to use the toilet not everyone can hold it for long time... so disrespectful

  • Riz Kausar

Guys I am so sorry, I had no choice but to puke in your unisex bathrooms this morning and I want to say sorry for any mess I caused. I tried my best to clean up any spills I made but one of your employees was courageous enough to walk in with a mop and bucket. I'll try my best not to do it again.

  • Uliana Khivrych

Each time I need to go to this station to make a interchange I’m excited...it’s very convenient and I can get to any platform very quickly. In audition, there are pretty big lifts. Once lift to platform 2 wasn’t working and I got help to carry the stroller from station worker.

  • Faheem Rashidi

I left a valuable item on the platform, I realized soon train left the station, next stop was Revesby. I Google the number and call the station master, she was very helpful. She locate the item which I left and took under custody & hand over to me. It was great, THANK YOU!

  • P Lastname

You can walk to the intl airport from here and avoid the excessive station access fee. Cross Princes Hwy at Brodie Spark Dr lights, then always take the widest path through the park. You'll end up on the footpath across the bridge and it's signposted from there.

  • Todd Steele

I've seen beehives with friendlier architecture and open spaces than this sorry station; I believe St James is the leader in Sydney Rail stations and should be considered better than this hoover-vacuum of unhappiness.

  • Ana Maria

The personal who works in the station is rude are not polite at all. They think they can treat the people as they want. I recommend to supervise better the personal and how the interact with the passengers.

  • Kyle Chen

Very quick way from South line to Bondi Junction and Illawarra to Airport. Much better than changing at Central whilst fighting with crowds! One problem is they need seats for narrow platforms in 1 & 2

  • J

Wolli Creek station is one of the biggest station at south. Very convenience. 2 train lines, which give you more options to travel to City! But the facility is getting old, need to be upgrade soon

  • Shane A

Difficult to transfer between trains at this station, due to the distance that has to be walked between platforms. Platforms lack adequate displays to indicate when next relevant service is due.

  • Silviu Dobrota

28-Nov-2017. A very twisted station with its platforms on two different levels. At the platforms below (airport line) the lines look really bendy at one of the ends of the platform (see photo).

  • Michelle W

Station is clean and takes about 1minute to switch betwen the airport & bondi line. Lifts are available. Tip - ticket officers always around so do the right thing and swipe your opal card

  • Jenny Chen

One of the very few suburb stations with decent toilet facilities as well as lifts. Close proximity to shops so you can have a wander around if your train isn't coming soon.

  • andrew gore

Lift was out yesterday and one of the guys helped me with the pram, and on my back showed me the lifts in the car park. Great help when you have a toddler!
