We are from MN. Before leaving for home we filled up at the Costco and saw Wooden Chicken Pub from the road, thought we'd stop for a beer. What a hidden gem. Great food. Great value for your buck. What a treat. We'd happily stop by if ever passing through again. The halibut and chips rivals what you get on the coast.

It's a great place for chicken and fries, hand-breaded with care, deep fried to perfection, and served piping hot! It was our first time there, and we will definitely be coming back for more! Been here twice and I got great customer service both times! Bartender is funny bantering with the waitresses. The employees seem to be happy working there and in a good mood. I do kind of wish they had some healthier food on the happy hour menu. But hey, it's a bar. And I will still be back!
