I have been shopping at woolworths for over 30 years, yesterday was the first time my return was rejected because it had someone elses make up on the dress. I would have just washed the dress myself and used it but it does not fit. So i went to westville pavillion Woolworths to return , before returning the dress i purchased some other items 1 being a white skirt, that had make up on it. I went to the customer service to return my dress purchased on the 21st December , the lady inspected and said she cannot accept because it has make up, i said it has never been worn still has the tag on. I told her to call the manager she went away for some time, returned with a Mr Kananelo (SFC - his title) he said cannot accept dress because it had makeup on it, he said they will not sell me it that way. I remembered i just bought a white skirt with make up markings, so i took it out and showed him he was speechless then said he can take back the skirt i bought today cause it was just now but can't take back the dress cause it was bought a few days ago. I told him to go down to the sale section and have a look at how many white items had makeup marking on it.His logic didn't make sense and his customer service skill was poor to accept 1item but not the other. I left with both item could argue with incompetent people. Attached it the picture of the dress bought on the 21st December and the skirt bought on the 29th December

This branch never answers their phone which is absolutely pathetic for a Woolworths store. Have tried 8 times in the last two days, it just rings non stop. I eventually get through, and tried to get hold of their online contact (Centia) who gave me the general store number instead of the direct number when I specifically asked for her direct number. She promised me delivery of an item that was left out in my food order and up to now still was not delivered. Going for the second day now. Absolutely appalling service. I'm actually shocked at how bad this service is. I am beyond frustrated and honestly, will now strongly reconsider buying anything online again from them. (This isnt the first time they messed up) Unfortunately the items I purchased was for my mother for Mothers Day, and it was very upsetting that her gifts were incomplete.

Sadly my 2nd disappointing visit to the restuarant. I sat for at least 5 - 6 minutes without being given a menu. I had to call a waitress to get 1. I ordered a Chai Latte to start with then some time afterwards I ordered a Croissant with Jam & Cream. I sat for ages by which time the 3 people who came in after me had already finished their drinks. So once again I called the waitress over to ask about my Chai Latte I was informed that it was coming along with my Croissant which was being warmed. The Chai Latte arrived & quite a while after my Croissant arrived cool! with jam & cheese (not Cream!!!) I was so ticked off that I thought it better not to complain as I would have to wait until midday to get the correct order. Definitely not going back! Bad service all round. Not what one expects from Woolworths!!!

I had a terrible shopping experience at the Pavilion branch of Woolworths on Sunday morning. Hadebe was the cashier that served me with a very surly demeanor when I requested that she swop my cold drinks to a different bag and she just glared at me. She did not thank me and I said that she had a real attitude. She proceeded to shout at me in front of all the customers and said that I was the one with the attitude and proceeded to argue and insult me. I did report her to her supervisor, Bongi and I gave her my card. She said that a manager will call me and no manager called. This ruined my whole day and they can learn from the cashiers at Dischem. They are so friendly and obviously love their jobs. You expect at least not to be insulted and shouted at the cashier.

Initial response time incurred a few minutes wait, but once we were noticed and served, it was nothing short of perfect. A young man with a very professional character and sound understanding of the product we were interested in took us through the pros and cons of the product, comparisons between the two products we enquired of, gave us a full run down of its benefits, the products capabilities and any disadvantages experienced that he was or had been made aware of. He was born biased and his presentation was good,efficient and on tap. We were then led to the next available drill where the purchase was finalized and the transaction concluded. A most pleasurable shopping experience indeed.

This is the best woolworths I've come across in the whole of the Durban area. The staff are always friendly and efficient, the stock is always fresh (and in-stock) and there's always something new in stock for anyone (especially the adventurous) to give a try. Their bakery is always stocked and freshly baked and their barista is in attendance to brew you a quick cup of coffee. There is a cafe on-site too that has an expansive and delicious menu, sure to suit antibes taste buds. Don't forget that customers of woolworths are entitled to use their ticket machine to discount your parking ticket so it is free for the first 1 or 2 hours.

One of the best Woolies in my opinion. Sometimes I go just cos their Cafe serves the best food of all; tho our choices are limited cos we eat Halaal we do have some faves - Flourless Choc Cake, the Best ever Carrot Cake, Salted Caramel Cheesecake & the Potato Wafffle. The only gripe: I've had to ditch my shopping in the Food Market many a time due to the long wait in the Express queue, mainly on Saturdays (which is my main shopping day) as store gets very busy later in the day. And Woolies is Always busy, so I request pls managers do keep all the tills open till closing time.

My review is for the Woolworths Cafe inside of Woolworths in the pavillion Completely disturbed and disappointed at how unhygienic the place is (the staff work without gloves for example whilst grating cheese) the staff stand on their phones instead of attending to customers waiting for their order. As a result, our food , 2 out of the 3 meals arrived Ice cold. I’m completely disgusted. Not only are we being overcharged for beverages but the meals itself we could not even eat because of the unhygienic staff in the kitchen I will not be going back there again !

This store doesn't understand what customer service is. Their standards have dropped terribly. I've sent an email complaint 17 days ago and I have yet to receive a response. The express tills at the food market are never open when the store is busy. When this matter was addressed with the floor manager, he insisted that the store wasn't busy, although the queue for the main tills were wrapping around the aisle. How is this servicing your customers? And the staff are more than happy to stand around, chatting with each other instead of assisting customers

The menu is excellent, though overall the staff at ww café pavilion offer either an average level of service or are extremely rude. They are inconsistent. I frequent the café for their lovely menu. Even when it’s off peak, and there are 2 or 3 people seated, the waitresses appear to be on a go slow, and delay in bringing the menu and taking the order. The slim lady with the long braids which is tied in a scarf, is highly rude and arrogant. Once the service level improves in terms of mannerisms, the café will be perfect.

I was very disappointed with level of service I received today nothing I needed was there today I walked out as an unhappy customer, I'm hoping in the near future the food market will be stocked properly what makes it worse all the things I wanted to buy were for a gift as I would always utilise Woolworths to purchase gifts for people and even recommend to other people wanting to buy gifts I asked for the them to check Kloof Woolworths I was told there was no stock there aswell I'm highly disappointed

I'm a big fan of apples and I buy them with you guys all the time, makes me really sad that you'd trick us & package apples that are not Envy apples in Envy packaging, I know they are only available for 3 months(Winter) in all Woolworths stores, there's absolutely no need to sell them in spring cause we know they are not available. This month i bought them 3 times and I found Fuji apples instead of Envy apples in some packs, very disappointing.

I did not expect to be met with such off hand and somewhat rascist service from a waitress at the Woolworths coffee shop. Almost an hour after placing my order I was still waiting. The manager was fantastic and sorted it all out... but the waitress was pathetic. They also changed their menu so the names of the items are the same, but the actual item is different. Watch out for that... your old favourite is now something else. False advertising?

We had a great restaurant sit down. Late afternoon during pre-christmas shopping, staff was wonderful and assisted us with ease. The menu was well balanced and everything was available. During C19 times the harvest table is not operational, however the fresh meals and cakes on display made up for any lack. The Woolworths experience is a great one and combined with a restaurant experience its just a touch better!

Bakery has nerds.. I wonder if they get paid okay.. I was asking the lady about the pizza that's displayed on top. The prices was tricky 3 for R40.. She looked at me in Awe.. I jus said OK n walked away.. I said poor thing mus be overworked.. Underpaid Woolworths u are a brand.. Be wise..when employment.. Customers want happy workers helping them with grace. Most of the food that's stocked on your shelves, they shelf life is for like the next 2 days how do people buy that way...it makes it hard for us customers that buy weekly or monthly if your food is only alright for the 2 days some of us got no time to come every 2nd day to buy food if that's what u aiming at for store sales.....brutal I tell you.....think about your customers first!

Overpriced badly made clothing. I entered the country road section where prices were even higher. I asked the assistant why.. She said because it's a specialist brand.. I asked what was special about it.. She couldn't answer the question.. Sad really 40 years ago woollies was good quality and reasonable price.. Now just a worse version of Edgar's on a bad day.

So the woolies app says theres no stock of a item in Durban but am standing in the pavillion branch and can clearly see the item quite a few and i cannot purchase it online on the sale price "because there is no stock in Durban" but i have to pay the full price in the store and i was sent to 3 different people in the store who could not make sense of it.

Absolutely disgusted with the cashier on the 14/05/2023 my wife paid for a dress and the swing tag was not removed because the ladies are to busy in conversations all the managers say is damm sorry but they dont worry when u walkin into other stores and the shopping bags are beepin and you get called upon by security to search your bag terrible

Reviewing the coffee shop - gorgeous meal and such good coffee but surprisingly irksome service. We were asked by 3 different waitrons in the space of the first 5 minutes re drinks, food etc. You could argue that the service was on the ball but we found the interruptions off putting. Other than that it's a great venue in our favorite store.

Such a pleasure to shop at Woolworths Westville Pavilion. I frequently use the coffee shop and the staff are so super friendly and helpful. The food Hall is also great with friendly approachable staff and they definitely remember faces so a warm welcome is guaranteed. Makes my shopping experience a whole lot better.

staff at this woolworths cafe has no respect for disable people . they have no wet wipes and expect disable people to wheel themselves thru the tiny passages between tables to get to a tap.Floor manager just showed no interest in addressing the problem.WOOLWORTHS PAVILION WAS A GREAT SHOP NOT ANYMORE .

I waited 30 mins in line to pay for one item. When I asked the cashier why there are no express tellers, she said the express tellers are opened on weekends only. The ladies at the bakery need to be more friendly. I find them to be always sulky especially a coloured lady that is always there.

I have always received good service at Woolworths Pavilion. Its onexstop shopping from clothing, kitchen wear, bathroom, bedroom and grocery shopping. The staff are friendly and willing to assist. There is a restaurant in the store which is convenient to take a break when shopping.
