The door guy is just rude and scary. The place looked nice but the overall vibe was just ghetto. The rude guy at the door made me get rid of my pepper spray after checking my purse. The girl that worked the front was polite but you can tell they are used to regulars coming here. We had to ask for details of where we could sit. We had to ask why there was a whole other section that we were not allowed to go in. Apparently there's a club next to the lounge and the entrance is by the bathrooms??. The door guy quickly barked at us when we tried to go to the bathrooms because he thought we were sneaking over to the club that was not opened yet?? haha! Like bruh is uptightttt. All the booths are reservation seating from what we told. If you don't buy a booth you are stuck standing or sitting on these wobbly chairs at the bar. The DJ was wack and should not be in charge of any afro-caribbean event again. Nobody buys tickets to these events to hear rap or trap music Also it would've been nice if there was some food being served smh.. The people that come here are not really friendly. But maybe that's just how the locals are here?? Idk lol. The bartenders were really nice. Overall not coming back here again. Not the place for me.

XOXO Cocktail Lounge is a beautifully decorated cocktail lounge. Hints the name. The lounge itself is open concept and the windows/doors are open so you get to smell the fresh outdoors and enjoy the weather outside. There is a club located in the back that is equally as appealing. During my time here there was no coverage. I'm not sure if that's a norm for a Saturday. It was a blast! The DJ was amazing. Playing and mixing music from all genres. The drinks were regularly priced. However, there is an automatic gratuity added to the check regardless of what you purchase. I hate that this is the new norm. I did enjoy my time here at XOXO. If you're near by or want to get out I definitely recommend this location.

Stopped by for drinks on a Friday night around 12:30am while we were in town. Bar staff was great. One bartender did some really cool tricks while making our drinks. A lot of dancing and grinding going on while good music was playing in the background. You don't have to pay a fee if you stand up and drink at the bar but if you want to take sit at any of the seats, it's $65 per person. We weren't very dressed to be in this place but somehow still got in with our workout clothes on.

It's Thursday night and I came out to support the new international nights with DJ Atomix (tonight special guest DJ Nani). I came early to get good pics of the space. It's been open for about two months now. Ambiance This spot gives upscale, regal, luxe vibes to the max. The decor is great def one of the best I've seen in Charlotte- big ups to the creative director Brittany. Best nights to come are Mondays for their industry nights and Sundays for their hip hop nights which has been selling out each week with famous guest coming every week!

Coming from out of town I was pleasantly surprised by this place since it leaves a lot to be desired from the outside. I knocked off a few stars for the security guards/bouncers who are on their high house outside. This is a club, not the FBI, chill out little men.

First time here, it was cool. Friday night was great. Dj played everything. The bottle girls were nice. I was definitely please with the bottles of water. Nice lol ill definitely have to visit again soon.

Nice vibe. The place was clean and the staff was pleasant. Was a little hot in the front space, but cooler when they opened the back area. I don't go out too much, but I would go back.

Waited for an hour and 35 minutes for a just charcoal no flavor at all on there hookah, socks no idea what the people think and how they'll running this business like that.....

Great ambiance. Come out on a Thursday for some afrobeats! Happy to see Africans In Charlotte stepping it up with their venues.
