I am disappointed to see the reduced number of hand sanitizer stations in the gym since new equipment was purchased. In total there are only 4 and 2 of those are always empty. There should be hand sanitizer at every paper towel station. I brought this to the attention of front desk staff who did nothing about it.

Had to cancel membership on June 2nd and was told not getting refund for June because I didn't give them 15 days notice. I didn't know I was going to have to cancel and was not told about that policy. They cheat you like that, get your money and you don't use the facility.

Such a great gym. Equipment is clean, always in relative good condition. Staff is friendly, always with a smile. The only thing I would change would be to increase the size of the locker room but I know that space is limited. Would recommend this gym to everyone.

I enrolled my daughter in a summer camp. She was going to the YMCA for one week and another summer camp for the next week. While at the summer camp, she fell and broke her elbow, requiring surgery. Despite informing them about the situation

I feel I have to send kudos out to a lifeguard named Ashley. On this morning, Monday, May 7, 2018 our illustrious instructor Tiffany Langille was running a tad late (not like our Ms. Tiffany at all). Ms. Ashley informed us of this delay and

Rented a room and hsd a swim for my sons 10th birthday. First thing I had to pay 4 dollars for my 4 month old to swim not even hslf price which is insane!. Alsk we were not allowed into the room until exactly 2:30 not a minute sooner unless

Jamie Darragh : There are automated systems that charge credit cards I would assume. If they could have stopped it I am sure they would have. You said you had not been there in over a month. If you have not been to your apartment in over a

Good Karma... so sometimes it is the small stuff that makes you feel there is balance in the world. Example: last week I noticed my Y ID card missing from my keychain. I promptly called the Y to let them know and I was feeling anxious as I

This gym closes at 11pm, at 10:20pm february 11, my wife was in the change room coming in from the showers and one of the female janitors was acting intimidatingly and aggressively with my wife was taking her bag out of the locker and the

Very disappointed with the YMCA. They came and bought a community meeting place (gym and pool). Called it YMCA West. (It used to be Progress for many years) They sold the property and left the community without a community meeting place.

I like the YMCA, I think it's a good building with good programs. What I take issue with at present is the very restricted hours they are open right now. Makes it much more effort to try and g t a workout in the evening because I have to

I am not happy with the Director of this YMCA in Kingston, Ontario.. the Director at this YMCA was discriminating against my 10-year-old autistic daughter for sitting down on her tablet. A lot of children go into this gym to work out and

My son attends their Bayridge Summer Rec camp; not impressed. No field trips (fun& exciting like others are--movies, trampoline parks, etc), they only go swimming once a week for one hour only....I would be more than willing to pay extra

I got a membership here with my tuition from St. Lawrence College, and I have to say its absolutely worth it. They keep cleaning solution and towels everywhere so you can clean properly, there are nice water fountains and a cafe, and its

Lots of people occupying gym equipment for long periods of time while playing on their phones. Also, lots of unattended children playing on gym equipment, which is frustrating for adults who want to use the gym equipment for its intended

If you want to feel berrated, belittled and like a piece of meat by their male trainer. This is the place to be. Be weary of their unlabelled equipment, unknown rules and fitness manager who likes to sit in the office and watch the mess

I have two children that attend the before and after school care programs. I have found the staff and programming to be excellent. The YMCA is an excellent provider of daycare and I've recommended them to others I know. As a parent it's

80$ for a membership? Most of us don’t use the pool or the other accessories.. have different rates for the actual GYM!!! Any other Y I’ve ever been to doesnt force you to pay for amenities you won’t even be using! I give their Gym a 1

The YMCA in Kingston is the worst gym in Kingston. It is defiantly not a family friendly facility. Not only does it have perverts staring at you as you exercise but I went in to cancel my gym membership because I just found out I am

I love the YMCA. I use the gym almost everyday. the trainers are easy to talk to and you can always ask any question on how something works you don't need a private session for that :P. I have had a private trainer session and i do

I love the YMCA in Kingston! I have been a member for more than 5 years and I work out 4-5 days a week at this gym. I find it clean and reasonably priced, and the staff are great! I would highly recommend it to anyone!

Very old and in need of updating. Pool liner is rumpled and uncomfortable on the feet. Drinking fountain still does not work. Staff are friendly and helpful. Prices for drop-in swim and classes are very high.

  • Steve Barrett

A little on the pricey side, but it does have plenty to offer. Cardio, two pools and a weight-room. Not necessarily the best weight-room in town but you can still get the job done here.

  • Ting Li

Great daycare services! My 10 month old daughter loves her educators and makes progress everyday. I also like the fact that they have an app and keep you virtually updated.

  • Scott Lee

The Y is an amazing place to work out! Have been a member for 20 years and would pick it over any other Fitness facility in Kingston. Great community supporter.

Aquatics is a complete mess with incompetent management. It’s a shame, because the pool is reasonably nice and the guards are mostly friendly..

  • Nicole Leach

Center is dirty and equipment is old and very limited for women and those who are not looking to heavy lift.

  • Tommy Hoang

07/27/2022 recent experience here the reception people were so nice and great! will always be my #1 gym

  • Carol Kolga

Excellent reception. Aquatics instructor was fun and skilled. Friendly people.

  • Wyatt Turner

Front door kid is rude and arrogant. Not a friendly environment.
