I was looking for a place to make a copy of a motorcycle key and a car key. I called the Chrysler dealership, and was told that I would have to either wait there about 4 hours or come back. The dealership is about 1 hour away. I would have to spend 5 -6 hours and/or pay extra for car service not to wait there. Then I learned of Yankee's Locksmith and went there, 10 minutes away from my house. They made the bike key right away for $5; then the other guy, Mohammad, drove to my house and made a duplicate for the car on the spot. I had to pay extra because I didn't have the code for the key, so all together it cost me the same that dealership quoted me, but it saved me a lot of time and cab money. Mohammad also gave me a spare unprogrammed key to just open the car door and provided me all the codes, so I don't have to pay extra in the future and can easily obtain a new key if needed. All new keys work perfectly. On top of that, everyone in the business was very customer friendly. Very happy with their service.

Man was quick to arrive at location (bensonhurst area in Brooklyn, NY.) and open my car in less than 5mins but I feel like he over charged me. ($95) but I guess it’s cheaper than damaging the window or scratching the car. However I believe they should charge around 65 at most for that job but anyways a mistake I won’t repeat again…. Over all he was professional and don’t scratched my car like I’ve seen other techs do. By the way I tried the “TikTok” hacks and trust me they don’t work. So save yourself time and the hustle and potentially damaging your window and call this guys instead!!! Just a suggestion, technicians, please ask for some type of ID *before opening a car. (**Or after if customer claims wallet is inside the car)

I never post reviews but I have to review about Yankee’s. I came to the laundry and I lost my keys. I’m going through a very difficult time right now and I’m absolutely broke so this couldn’t happen at a more worse time. Everybody was trying to charge me $350 and up for a key. And all I had was $185 left in my bank account and Mohammad still came and did it for me at 1:30am. Didn’t leave tell after 2am almost 3 trying to figure out the key for me. I am forever grateful for Mohammad kindness. Thanks a million Mohammad. I highly recommend him a million times over. Truly a nice guy.

BEST experience I've ever had with ANY company. I lost my key in the ocean at Coney Island at midnight on a Friday an hour and a half from home, and I called Yankee's Locksmith after numerous other companies did not have the key I needed. The owner of the store was extremely helpful and knowable of his products and he saved me a lot of money. I didn't have to replace my lock which would have been 300.00 dollars he was able to make up the keys instead and I only had to pay 20 ,00 dollars .Also he was the only locksmith opened in my neighborhood. So he will be getting my business as will my friends utilize him

Asked the man at the counter to cut a car key (i showed him two blank keys), he asked me if i want them programmed, I said no just need the keys cut. He made a phone call, gave me the phone, i repeated to the guy on the phone that i neeed the keys cut only, no programming, then the man at the counter told me to wait ONE HOUR. Never go back to the place USELESS.

Muhammad was so excellent. He was able to get me into my car and make keys for me in the spot. He is very professional, and very kind. He allowed me to wait in his car while he was working on my keys because of the cold weather. If their were an option for 6 stars that would be his rating. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!! My friends and I got off our cruise ship at 8am. The parkkng garage we used lost our key fob. Every locksmith in the city refused us. EXCEPT Yankees Locksmith. These gentlemen drove an hour and half away from brooklyn to get us a brand new key fob. The whole process took 6min. Every time we need key help we are calling them! 10 stars!!!!

Great and fast service. I called at 2am when I got locked out of my apartment. My lock was opened within 20 minutes from the time I called. That’s including travel time. The lock was opened within a minute or two. It’s great that the lock was not damaged. Very professional and quick service.

This place said 25 min waiting time. They got there 2 hours later and tried to charge me 160$ to open my nissan altima. When I said no they went down to 100$. I still did not use them i called another place they opened it for 60$
