Philippa Pires (indian lady) is a THIEF. I read a lot of books and when I'm done reading them I like to sell them off in bundles. I decided to try this store. I had books in boxes in my car. I noticed her take an interest in one of my books. She asked me to go get the other books from my car while she goes through the first bundle. When I was going to get the 2nd box of books, I quickly glanced and noticed she grabbed a book and put it behind the counter. When I got back she seemed nervous, quickly drank water and quickly glanced at the 2nd box and decided she wasn't interested in anything. I took both boxes to the car and checked to see if the book she was interested in was in the box. Guess what? Missing. Caught red handed. However I didn't confront her. She can keep the book but it goes to show you her true character. Will never go back to the store and don't recommend others to. Unless you support her selling books that she possibly stole from others like she did with me. No business ethics/morals.

This has become one of absolute favourite shops to stop by on a Saturday to browse and shop for books and records....her selections in both,quite work for me,as compared to the many other used record/book stores in the city...quite reasonably priced as well...Highly recommend for the book and used vinyl enthusiast ....

Zoinks Music and Books store ideally at a good location between two main Subway station Ossington, Dufferin with parking near by , there you can find various books , music you wouldn't find at the Library also @ low affordable price. So this is a good place for the community.

Definitely not going to this record store again, I bought an opened vinyl, I checked the vinyl there but because store is too dark and it was a coloured vinyl, couldn’t see the scratches, but unfortunately there was lots of scratches on

Prices tend to be decent here, but I only check out the new (used) arrivals. Often find some good Canadian, punk, and 80s LPs here. The main collection is not worth the time digging however.

Primarily a modestly sized bookstore that has a decent used vinyl selection that takes up the entirety of the middle of the store. Good prices (many $7-14) for acceptable quality.

Great selection of vinyl at good prices. Went to a few different places in Toronto and Zoinks was one of the most competitive with an interesting and varied selection

The man who sold me my books was very well educated, and recited the first page of Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man (Joyce) from memory. I was blown away!

The book selection here is not great. They’ve almost never had any of the well known authors/books that I’ve been looking for. But sometimes they do.

Zoinks is a small local Bloor West bookstore, with a wide selection of books and LPs. It's very organized and clean and the owners love books!

Definitely go if you want to be igored. Salesperson was scrolling on her phone and didn’t even look up when I came in, let alone say hello

Great store! Nice "bargain bin" and lots of used vinyl to pick thru. I left with a large stack and found a few gems I've been hunting for!

This independent bookstore on Bloor Street, in Bloorcourt, has a great collection of novels (mainly paperbacks) and music (mainly vinyl).

Visited this place for the records. Happily surprised by the selection of used records and the fair prices. Would definitely shop again!
