I had an absolutely dreadful experience with Zoom Removalist.if I could give them MINUS 5 star, I would.. The two guys that came from Zoom was abysmally slow, which set the tone for the entire move. The two movers they sent were so sluggish that my grandma could have outpaced them. They had the bizarre habit of staring at items for what felt like an eternity before deciding to pick them up, and to make matters worse, one of them seemed to be wrapping the furnitures while the other just watched. What should have been a straightforward 3-hour job turned into a grueling 5.5-hour ordeal. They spent an inordinate amount of time complaining about the weight of various pieces of furniture, even though I had clearly informed them during the booking that the entire apartment needed to be loaded onto the truck. To add insult to injury, they initially attempted to charge me extra for stairs, despite the fact that I had been told during booking that up to 18 stairs were included. But it didn't end there. They also sprung surprise charges on me for fuel and an outrageous $50 toll fee, neither of which had been mentioned during the booking process. The grand total for my two-bedroom small apartment move ended up being close to a grand. One of the movers, Rami, had the worst attitude I've ever encountered. His behavior was nothing short of disgusting and extremely rude. To top it all off, they took multiple smoke breaks during the move, further extending the misery of the experience. I will never, under any circumstances, use Zoom Removalist again, and I wouldn't wish this nightmare on my worst enemy. I strongly advise against using their services and will never recommend them to anyone.

Horrible Experience - Beware of bullying and pressure tactics! I felt intimidated and harassed due to the unprofessional behaviour of the Zoom Removalists' crew. I was a lone female at the time, and what should have been a simple move turned into a distressing encounter. Upon arrival, the movers seemed friendly at first. However, the atmosphere soon shifted, and their true colors emerged. They promptly asked for additional money for a ‘long walk’ and what they estimated as additional cubic before even loading the truck. Zoom had already been paid a hefty fixed price. To my shock, they began insisting that the payment was insufficient and demanded additional money on the spot. Feeling cornered and uneasy, I tried to reason with them and show them the receipt for the total payment I had already made. Instead of listening, they resorted to bullying tactics. It was an utterly distressing experience. I contacted my partner, who subsequently reached out to the Zoom office directly. He stated that this behaviour was unacceptable. Afterwards, the men came back and informed me I did not need to make any further payments. The behaviour exhibited by the Zoom Removalists' crew was deplorable. The fact they targeted a lone female speaks volumes about their ethics and principles as a company. I want to caution anyone considering using Zoom Removalists for their moving needs.

Dear all, Please beware about this business. I think they are cheaters. I have moved my 2 bedrooms apartment with lifts access 10 steps away from loading bay to another suburb 26km distance also an apartment with lifts access less than 10 steps away. Two men took a-most a day to do moving and at the end they charged me for $150 our. I didn’t agree with that and then they said they give me discount and total bill is $1365. And please beware they took my $200 deposit and said it will be deducted in total bill but they didn’t do that. Removers driver will ask you to pay extra for wrapping. I think we don’t need to pay for extra because their jobs is don’t damaged our staffs isn’t it? Do you think that’s fair if you moving 2 bedrooms apartment with lifts access with 26km distance will cost you $1566 then got discounts to $1365? Hope you will find the right removal company and good luck to you all.

Was asked for an itemised report of what furniture to be moved and showed up with a smaller truck that wouldn't fit all our furnishings. For experienced removalists, it was shocking how long it took them to move the furniture into the truck, the continuous playing tetras within the truck, the moving of prongs that shouldn't have time wasters really. Have been offered a $60 refund, which hasn't happened yet. A job that previously took un experienced movers 6 hours this time paid for 7 hours and not all done, had to hire a van to move the rest, at over $400 an hour wouldn't waste any more money! DONT USE THESE PEOPLE SHOCKING

I cannot recommend Zoom Removalists enough. My partner and I had a great experience with them. Making the booking and dealing with Chantel was the first indication of how professional they are. She was very communicative and friendly, making the whole process easy to organise. On the day George and Michael did a fantastic job, calling ahead to confirm their arrival time, and were very careful with our furniture and loading up their truck. Thanks George and Michael for making our move so much smoother - you’re worth your weight in gold!

Moved from Sydney to Newcastle and can not fault Zoom. The team at the office made everything easy. Roban and Danny were fantastic! They were punctual, polite to myself and my wife and work very hard loading and unloading. We have a lot of artwork and they took great care with our fragile stuff. Zoom cost less than half of some quotes I received and I thought this might reflect in the quality of the service. Should not have worried, Zoom were great and have already recommended them to a friend.

David and Yakob and nharon were fantastic. Very helpful, and very careful. Even when I asked them to move an oversized heavy table up a stairwell that that was too small, they weren’t reluctant to try it. They told me they didn’t think it would fit, but we’re still willing and gave it their all. They were right, it didn’t fit, but never a negative comment. They were almost apologetic that they couldn’t find a way to make it work in spite of the physics. I highly recommend this team

Fantastic service from the whole team. Jade, Chantel and Tara were very helpful providing very competitive quotes and organising my booking. I had the pleasure of having Lawrence and Larsen as my removalists. They arrived on time, were very professional and worked with a dedication and care as though they were moving their own belongings. I couldn’t recommend these guys more! Don’t waste your time booking elsewhere!

We had a great experience with zoom removals! The boys worked really hard and spent a huge amount of time and effort to move our things and honestly they did a great job. Nothing was broken. They were polite and listened to me when I told them where to put stuff. They also do cheap Tuesdays - which saves the call out fee and you just pay per the hour. Thanks Marvin for helping us.

We had a huge office move and had to move lots of fridges, monitors and office furniture. Shaq and Marvin were really good and efficient. They were helpful and very kind. We initially ordered for 2 hours but they were open to staying another 3 hours as we underestimated how much time needed. Thank you so much for helping make the move so easy.

Booked with Zoom a week before my move worried it would be problematic so close before the day, however the responsiveness and correspondence on phone and email was great. On the day the movers, Sam and Imail (not sure if spelled correctly) were very helpful and provided great service. All in all a great experience, would recommend.

Moved to a new apartment today with Lorance and Larsen, and service was friendly and efficient. Everything was loaded, moved and unloaded within 1 hour 40 mins, and they even dropped me off at my new place. Office staff were also helpful with questions and keeping me informed before the move. Would recommend.

Marvin & Mateus were awesome. Super friendly and super efficient. So friendly in fact that when the grease (that I forgot to remove) from my BBQ leaked all over Mateus hands he didn’t get nearly as upset as I certainly would have. Will 100% be using Marvin and Mateus next time we move house.

Poor experience since the last time I used them. They wanted $100 extra for a table top because it was heavy. Zoom didn't charge me extra when they moved me last time. Beside the table top is on wheels (there is no need to pick it up) so the weight does not matter. Never using them again.

Rami and Sarmed did an incredibly good job. No damage, very quick, friendly, helpful. Had some really heavy furniture and they managed to move everything so fast. Highly recommend to anyone. Def gonna use them again in the future if i ever need to move.
