I put my Mitshibishi Lancer 2003 in for a service and they called back saying my battery was low (needs to be replaced but said no as I only got one 2 weeks ago) and the rocket cover gasket needs to be replacing, along with 4 new tyres and a new air filter. Was quoted 1200 in total. Said no and picked up the car. Mind you I paid 269 for them to basically nothing to the car. Anyway, took it to another place to get a second opinion and a price. The battery was fine, the terminals were not tight enough but they did not bother to check that. The rocket cover gasket did not need to be replaced, just tightened and my rim on the back was split, but they didn't tell me that, just that it was the wrong size (which was also not true). This other place only charged me 500 for 4 new tyres, new air filter, tyre rotation and alignment and tightening of most parts as they were loose. When booking, I also stated the horn was beeping by itself and they did not bother to check that either, just said "it didnt play up for us so hard to to determine what is wrong." Why have a section saying is there anything you want us to check and you did not bother to check it. Very unhappy and was overcharged badly.

My last words to the Sales Rep was “I’ll leave a review. Thank you so much.” We’re all busy, and often time poor, but when you receive service such as what I received today at MyCar Tyre and Auto, I could not, not show my appreciation for their 2nd to none quality of service. From the moment I parked my car in the reserved bays and was greeted by a super friendly mechanic, to the moment I left, there was nothing that was too much trouble for this amazing team. After the morning of getting a flat tyre on the M80, to other tyre companies “no, we’re too busy”, “sorry we are closing in an hour”, to the team at MyCar - “sure, we can do that”. Four new tyres, wheel alignment and without asking they reset the dash light “check tyre pressure” function, the service here is brilliant and leave you thinking… maybe I’ll get my car services done here as well. Thank you all for your brilliant work, customer service and attention to detail. You turned a shocker of a day into an awesome experience. Thanks again.

This is the most awesome tyre & auto shop that I have ever used. The service provided is excellent and amazing. Vinny is the best manager ever, and the friendliest that my we have made. We urgently need our car tyre to be replaced as it was beyond repair and some more it was over a long weekend. Vinny was so accommodating and even help to get the tyre from another similar store to be transferred over to his store to help us get our tyre replaced as he doesn't have the stock of the special tyre our vehicle uses. Vinny handled the case very calmly despite the short notice, and was very reassuring which made my wife less stressful than she already was. Thank you Vinny for your above par excellent service. I was recommended these guys for car servicing and I was happy and impressed with the service that was delivered as well as the simplicity of the online booking system and what time I can expect the service to be completed and have never had a delay. Communication was also very clear before, during and after completion. I recently had my head lights go out and urgently needed replacements. I popped in without a booking just to see if they could help me out. They didn’t have the specific lights in stock however, they went above and beyond my expectations by ordering in the lights on the spot, had them delivered to site and had my lights replaced and sorted within just a couple of hours. This kind of service and care is what will keep me coming back for all my auto needs. Highly recommended.

Very thankful that Vinh is managing Keilor Downs Mycar. Went to him after a stressful experience at Derrimut where I left them with my car still not repaired and more expenses to come. Customer Service was terrible was kept waiting for 3 weeks with nothing done but excuses. Vinh offered to look at my car (without charging me and me not having an appointment) and offered to give me an honest opinion of problems plus costs involved. Same day came back with a quote then discussed everything in detail for me to understand and then did some investigating into the history of my previous services and found the parts needing to be replaced - were actually under warranty... I made the booking online for the log-book service and it turned out a great service I have enjoyed. The mechanist, Steve, is knowledgeable about Toyota and Peugeot brands. He gave thoughtful and honest advice on how the car should be serviced with minimum hassle. I first did the service then went on the road trip the next day, came back with the dashboard engine light and Steve just fixed it like a champ with the reset button. He also gave good advice on the Peugeot car which saved me a lot of time and money. The service team worked promptly for your schedule when you needed your car for work. PS: watch out for your speed because Steve knows when you are speeding or not.

Talk about quick turn around A+ Service! Last Saturday 11th me and my family were just about to take a long drive along along the coast when i realised the front drivers tyre was half flat. I quickly drove it to MyCar where i was greeted by Vinnie and without any questions once he searched my rego his colleague Minh started to work on it without wasting any time! It ended up being a puncture. I am so grateful Vinnie & Minh were able to work on my car on the spot and look after me, this is literally top A+ service! Within 10min the tyre was repaired. My vehicle went in for a basic service. An additional $1200 worth of repairs were needed so I accepted. After taking the car back the engine was making more noises. Took it back and was told the alternator is also going and asking an additional $1600! The problem was caused by their shoddy workmanship and they blamed the problem on something THEY should have picked up on when they completed all the other 'comprehensive' repairs. They wouldn't take ownership or provide any compensation. Pursuing legal action.

Most good reviews seem to be tyre replacements. I dealt with Nam and he had no idea about anything I came in for a RWC and he told me that the model of my car has lots of problems and I shouldn’t bother. After the test was completed the manager noted my car was in great condition. Overall communication regarding mechanical repairs was awful. I was looking for a mechanic and saw great reviews . I won’t be coming back.

I have been taking my car to a different place for a few years and I started to get suspicious that the work wasn’t being done correctly. I brought my car here for a second opinion and they have really looked after me the best they can. Taking the time to explain things to me and fit my car in when they can, even at short notice. Awesome customer service and extremely fast turnover. Had Vinnie manage my service when I had a punctured tyre. Called up in the morning with no booking and dropped my tyre off to the shop for a repair and it was all done within an hour completely free as I had purchased my tyres there earlier this year and any damage is covered with their 12 month warranty. Had my distributor replaced on the 20/04. After that my car was running poorly. I told them twice something is wrong and all they said is, “Just drive and it should run better after a while”. I went last week to another MyCar shop and they told me the distributer is not timed correctly. This could have caused more damage. Really bad service. Now I am still waiting to get it fixed.

They totally stuffed up our 4wd. Took it to change the clutch, the mycar in Perth broke the gear box, they couldn't fix it within 1 month. We moved to Melbourne, took the car to another mycar shop. 1 months later they said it fixed. However the clutch makes noise and kicks when changing gears. They said we will call you, still waiting. I guess we will see you in court.

It was my first time visiting here as I had issues with my alternator and battery. I was late to drop off my car on the day, due to my car not turning on in the morning. Excellent communication on completion of job everytime i have visited this workshop. Timely and friendly service by Vinnie and Nam however the workshop could do with receptionists to hand out paperworks to customers instead the mechanics. I have received a few paperworks with black stains but i do understand the boys are short of a receptionist/Clark.

Gave jeep compass for service on 23-03-2022, car poor acceleration was same after service and Oil change message still on display after service! Charged 325 dollars. I had to go to another shop and they told Oil was never changed !! Cheaters. I will never return to this branch again.

Broke down with battery dead the next time I serviced the car and they didn't Dvise that it was low... shocking... all I got was sorry and the new battery is $420... I don't know whether they did what they said they did. I have lost trust in them.
