This is it. Welcome to your new gym. Size/Crowd: This is a big deal for me. I'm easily annoyed with crowded gyms, however theGYMkc River Market location occupies a large shipping warehouse that provides enough room and space to get your workout in comfortably. Even during peak hours, it rarely feels like there's actually a "crowd". Staff: The friendliest gym staff imaginable. Always greeted with a warm welcome and encouraging smile. The personal trainers are fantastic and always willing to talk shop/provide sound advice regardless of whether you're their client or not. Simply put: they're passionate about helping people reach their goals and it shows by their often-returning clientele. Membership/Amenities: Single memberships run $40/month, couples run $60/month. I happily pay for the $40 a month considering the benefits of having 3 close locations, private restrooms/showers and 24hr access. Pair that with an all around great experience and the price becomes totally justified.

This gym is god sent. Not many gyms out there in KC where they have a dark colored walls with art of the muscle anatomy. This gym has new stairmaster and treadmills which is a plus but another thing I love about this place are the free weights and racks. They have wear and tear and you may ask yourself " Why is that a good thing?" Well you know they are legit af and if you are truly there for the gains, you dont give a flip. People are down to Earth and it's a judgment free zone. Get in there and get it done.

Was a member for over a year but for the last couple of months vechiles kept getting broken into. One evening it was 4 vechiles all broken windows mine included. Instead of letting us see the video the owner refused to let see video. And didnt even make contact to her members that had the windows broken. I recommend a diffrent gym . One that backs there community and members. We all are tired of the break ins. And we just want to see what white ford truck is doing it

Hands down one of the best gyms I've been too! The staff is the best; Pat, Pete and Lee were always helpful and welcoming. No one is pushing you to get a trainer, no contract, and its clean. What more can you possible ask for? They have the most squat racks at the river market location and the vibe is pretty much everyone wants to have a good workout! I'll miss this place once I move so much.

Pretty decent atmosphere although it’s super quiet. Kind of weird quiet. The size is OK the amount of equipment is OK. You’re not gonna be impressed by anything but it’s just a decent little gym. I don’t think this is the place for cross fitters or serious body builders. But for the average Joe there’s nothing to complain about. They take care of the place and there’s everything you need.

All in all I like this location because it's accessible on my way and going home from work. Spacious with a lot of options. However, some of the machines didn't work. There was plenty staff on hand to say "hey, this is out of order or let me get you to a working one". It is what it is. Still enjoy the atmosphere, quiet, clean and cool

Great local gym. Friendly staff and reasonable membership fees. Free classes taught by great instructors all the time. GYMkc doesn't have a laundry list of fancy amenities, but they have all the equipment you might want, and it's clean and well maintained. The crowd at the gym is also generally super friendly.

I've been going here a long time, so I may be a little biased. It's not the small group thing that some people need (although classes are included in your fee), and it's not a GloboGym. It's right in the middle. It's comfortable and inclusive. All types of people and fitness ideas in a single place. I love it.

Busy during the peak hours, but I'm a morning guy and there is always plenty of room. Multiple weightlifting cages for squat and bench. Lots of machines that I've never seen. I'm mostly squat, deadlift, and bench guy and this place works for me. Bonus - its pretty clean at all times.

Treats its members well. I only come into town every once in a while, but they are great about renewing and cancelling my membership for a good price and duration. Never have to wait for machines, people are generally nice and don't bother you when you're lifting.

Great gym and great value if you buy ahead as a couple (and that can mean spouse, friend or whatever). Tons of equipment. Even at busy times I never have trouble finding something to work on. Just wish they had more classes at the River Market location.

Great gym with all the weights you will need(free weights, machine and racks).Plenty of space, private showers/bathroom, No cancellation fee. I recommend this gym for anyone who is ready to train!

Price is reasonable, just enough equipment that I rarely have to wait for anything. It could stand to be a bit brighter, and the lat pulldown handles could use some cushioning.

Great gym. Pretty much every piece of equipment that you will need to get in shape. As a member you will have 24 hour access to all 3 locations. The membership is priced right.

The increased the fees because of the WiFi no so long ago but is terrible never works and always have connectivity issues, the machines are also insufficient.

The new location is great , smaller than the previous but really bright and clean. Seems to have pretty much all the equipment from the previous location.

Love this gym's layout. Staff is great -- friendly and helpful. No bros trying to "teach" you if you're a female lifter either, which is nice.

I will give this gym 5 stars if they had towels for shower beside that its a good gym for the price of it and no contracts.

Great gym! 24 hour access. Lots of equipment and plenty of dumbells. Limited equipment for squats and deadlifts.
