"Not 24 hours"
As a micro business owner I really support the customers right to review about their candid experience when it comes to doing business with a merchant. Every time that I have gone into this 7-Eleven since they've opened I've always had a great experience with both the customer service and the selection. Sometimes I do run across self-serve hot food that has been under the lamp for too long but when I look around I noticed that those times are when it's super busy and there's like one or two employees that are Fielding a line at the counter that's a mile long and they're too busy to do anything about it.. also, I tried to also recognize that not everyone speaks the language that I speak and I'm just there to purchase some items and leave the store so I try not to get to bent out of shape when somebody doesn't speak perfect in English and can't understand when I might have an issue with something and I'm trying to convey it to them. The customer service is always fast friendly and efficient and I would highly recommend this 7-Eleven to anybody especially because it's the only 24-hour 7-Eleven in the area and it's ginormous. Lastly, I would like to recognize the customer service from all of the employees that I've encountered there specifically I'd like to recognize a gentleman by the name of Max. He's always got a smile on his face and is extremely friendly to me and very helpful when I've been in the store you guys should make him a manager before he gets away.
If I could give this store zero stars, honestly I probably would. I’ll admit that despite knowing how shady their practices are, I’ve continued to use this location for convenience, but they are absolutely in the business of scamming people out of as much money as possible. Do not trust a single price/sale/display sign as all items are going to ring up at higher or full-prices. Any deals saying mix and match are always false. All items ring up full price. If you point out signage, prices, or mistakes, you will simply be told the signs are old/out of date (interesting for a store that’s been open less than a few months) and they meant to remove them. Even if you try to explain false advertising… they have zero interest in their actual customers, and they know they’ll keep making money because of the location. Honestly disgusting business practices.
The one star on this review represents a negative ten star review. Store clerks act like they don’t like being in America. The look of depression and discontent is evident on the faces of the employees at this location. Only 7-11 in U.S. Operational History that’s constantly, consistently and purposefully out of mustard for the hot dogs that 7-11 markets as a staple item and when you ask about the mustard packs; the workers frown at you like you’re an American in a Rural Iran Halal Restaurant asking for a pork chop sandwich. They have an ice machine that’s constantly down. Store constantly unclean. Customer Service skills are non-existent. As long as you go in knowing that you as the customer is there to serve the staff then this place is for you. If you are used to 7-11’s with friendly customer service workers; go elsewhere!!!!!
I worked for corporate 7eleven through an agency for marketing/promotions in California & let me say the customer service here is HORRIBLE & they JUST opened less than 3weeks ago !! I live in the building right upstairs & I make stops here before work & after work. They are biased torward black people & act very rude torward us. I asked "Are you guys hiring, the main guy there snapped & said NO but there's a glowing flat screen with big white letters over a green background saying NOW HIRING ! Also they'll have you standing in an invisible line without saying a word but a white dude walked right up to register for checkout they helped him quickly.. I will gladly walk 2blocks for the other 7eleven that is smaller but more friendly.
Not 24 hours... "closed for cleaning 20 minutes" at 02:22 (am). I have no other options, so I am using the time to share my experience. If you need to close for cleaning every night, then tell us when. This is not a new thing.. they have been doing this at local 7-Elevens since pandemic. Each store seems to do it whenever they want... sometimes much longer than 20 minutes. And they don't bother to lock the door so the clerk has to shout the bad news at you on entry. Which leads me to believe that they cannot lock the door, maybe because they are not supposed to be closing. Whatever the case, it is very annoying and not convenient. I'm guessing that the prices are going to annoy me too, but I am expecting that.
It’s 7-11… the bar (expectation) is already so low it’s in hell. Cant believe they managed to show me a new level of hell. They’re always uncomfortably/creepily staring. Also, do not trust their signs on their windows. They had a 2/$4.25 monster deal and dude still charged me full price for both despite me showing him his own sign. Then threw $2 at me and said “good enough?” No dude, it’s not. I’d also like to add that nothing functions. Slushie and soda machines are always out of order. Hot dog buns have been out for a while. I understand supply chain issues but this just feels like terrible management. Occasionally will go to see if any changes are made. But I’ve been let down each time.
Buyer Beware : This spot is definitely a convenience in the area, but the prices are wild. A simple package of top ramen is $3.99. I understand a $1 +/-, but a 48 pack is for sale at less than the price of two of these at Costco. In addition, the 9 slurpies available are often not working, and most recently 6/9 of them weren’t working. I understand the need to make money and difficulty in logistics, but the bar is just too low here
It was exciting to finally have a 7-Eleven across the street. Then it immediately started to disappoint. The slurpee machine is never refilled. They never restock the products they just sit in cases in the isles. The staff is always on their phones and while you wait to purchase something they continue to talk on the phone and ignore you. This has been the worst 7-Eleven I’ve ever seen. Please get better staff or at least train them properly.
Scam Alert. Avoid this store. The first two times I visited in the first weeks since it opened they have had no hot dog buns for the hot dogs, and when you ask what's up with that the only thing they can say is "oh yeah, no buns" like it was perfectly normal. Today 5/14, 2 for $3 Big Bites ad next to the hot dogs, Cashier with a turban: "yeah, Taquitos only. I give you 1 dollar off two(big bites)". Big bites are not taquitos. 7Scam-11.
i usually buy pizza here and the cashier never gives me a receipt. i have to ask for it. one day i buy a pizza and my ebt balance says i spent $15.99. the cashier did have me scan my card twice and nothing looked out of the ordinary on my end but i never heard of 711 pizza costing $15.99. between 8 and 9 pm on 6/7/23 is when that happened. i can't prove it of course just pay attention. i ,myself am done with that location.
Absolute garbage store. I went in and got a couple of 16 Oz sodas, a bottle of hotsauce, and a pizza. The guy at the counter said if I used my debit card it would be a 5$ surcharge?! I was in a hurry so I paid. Do yourself a favor and don't come here, scammer cashier. If I could give it zero stars I would. I'll be calling their corporate hotline to complain about this. It's completely unacceptable.
Honestly #DON'T GO never ever I have never seen such poor service and HIGH PRICES like that not even in other 7-ELEVENS the wings that they have its already dry and when you look at it you'll know and 2.55$ for a CAN of Pepsi that's ridiculous hot dogs are the sams old I don't even wanna give them a one star they better do something with their Employee and there Prices
Charged twice saying transaction declined and removed the discount when charging second time. Waited for 2 weeks and still the refund is not processed. Staffs seem to be scammers, try using the self checkout if you go there. Or avoid going altogether. Update: Store manager contacted, was courteous and received refund in cash. Hence updating the rating.
Easily the worst 7-Eleven experience I've ever had, all five times I've been there. DO NOT go here, walk the extra block to the Virgina Ave location. Awful customer service, prices don't match what they ring out as (illegal), rude and lazy staff. More beverages stacked on the sales floor then in the coolers. THIS PLACE IS AWFUL!
really unfortunate that we finally get a new place in the area and the customer service is terrible. like other reviews, 4 employees but only one ringing people how who hardly knows how to work the register. both times ive got self serve food, they just guess and overcharge you. we already have a BETTER 7 eleven two blocks away.
Everything is always out of service. You walk .5 mile for a soda and it’s out of service? Why is it out of service for days on end? Need basic items? They’re out. The 7-11s back in the Midwest always had stock of everything. This was never an issue back east. Here these guys are out of stock on so many things it’s crazy.
Slurpee machines were either not functioning or didn't even have the correct flavor in them everytime I went. The bathroom was entirely full of random supplies (why I don't really want to pee after squeezing around a big pile of random junk). Not great
I went there for a hot dog. The "warm bun" dispenser still hasn't been fixed. It won't close and warming mechanism doesn't work. The mustard pump, dispenses yellow liquid. The pump needs to be cleaned as all. Showed the clerk, he said we're out of mustard.
The workers are disgusting, their behavior and attitude is inexcusable. Never felt such discrimination while shopping anywhere in the country lol. I wish I didn’t waste my money there or encourage these people. Do yourself a favor and don’t go here.
I understand this is downtown seattle and stores can get a bit pricey. Everything in this store is ridiculously over priced. There's literally a 711 4 blocks from this location and the prices are not spiked like they are at this location
Store should be Closed Permanently!! Over charging people stale food rude employees I tolerated enough abuse and have been overcharged for the last time I live within blocks But will NEVER return Reporting this store to corporate
It's good to know my last review was somehow taken off. Disrespectful staff not to mention creepy. Prices are not rang up as priced. What a scam of a store. Go to city market a few blocks away and support a family owned mart
Brand new store but is already dirty. Bad customer service and rude employees. Don't bother going to the one on Virginia either as they're both owned by the same person (and it shows)
the price is not the same as tag, they sercetly overcharge people. It happened me several times already. Update: after read several review found I am not the only one
Store is dirty ! Hot food looks old discolored dried out and the prices are ridiculously high And employees treat customers like trash Several bad experiences !!
They sell alcohol without checking Identification. Its against the law. I want to give them zero star--- don't know why its posting two stars for my complaint
I had to stop by twice during my stay around there and experienced a bad customer service! the guy was on the phone none stop and wasn't happy to work there!
This place is a joke, no ice, hotdog buns, or lids. They should have never opened this place. I will be going to the "fresh deli" by REI from now on.
I come here quite often. The guy at the front at night is friendly and I enjoy his smile. Store seems clean and good options for hot food.
These guys were awesome and helped my son and I when my phone died and they charged up my phone so we could get back home. Thank you.
Good 7/11. They are always nice to me. Large beer selection. The drink machines actually work unlike every other 7/11 in Seattle.
there was only like one slurpee flavor available and the placement made it seem like it was behind the counter from most angles.
Ordered through GrubHub, all my food and wrong and not edible. Utter scam everytime i buy here. AVOID
Staff are funny. Pretty large for a 7-11, open late, and overall solid store
I just hate how they close at random times after midnight! It's sucks bad
Great to have a 24-hour convenience store in the neighborhood.
They are thefts. Watch what is rung up. Very dirty business.
Close-by location people who work here are friendly helpful
Much better than the other nearby locations.
Cool place right across from the job site
Perfect place closeby my place :)
Very nice …
They take ebt!
