Idris is an excellent plumber with five-star expertise. He is professional, extremely knowledgeable, warm, friendly and a genius problem solver. We had a dire situation of water leaking from the upstairs bathroom down through the ceiling. Idris came very quickly to assess the leakage and truly saved the day! The problem turned out to be way more serious than we anticipated. Despite this, Idris came up with a solution to fix every problem that presented itself. It made us feel very reassured and confident that we were in good hands with getting the situation resolved. Like a magician, Idris was able to rectify the complicated faulty existing plumbing caused by previous rogue traders. On the same day, he also replaced a persistently leaking faulty tap in our kitchen, along with resolving more faulty plumbing issues found under the sink causing incremental dampness, (previously installed during a renovation several years ago by the same rogue traders mentioned above). Called him when I failed to get a compression joint to seal on some gnarly pipe. Went with him because he has a physical presence and could thus trust him not to up and vanish if the going got difficult, after i checked out several plumbers who definitely weren't at their given business address. Completed the job fast. Charges per half hour, but has no call out charge, which may work out cheaper or more expensive than charging less for a full hour, depending on the exact time. Having had a go at it first, I'll say he earned what he charged. Was a really awkward place, and the pipes were old and manky, and hard to seal onto. Was working the entire time he was here, and seemed perfectly happy for me to have drained the system for him first, thus saving me billable time.

I cannot of asked for a better person to do the job seriously, I had several leaks before and nobody could get the job done as good as amber plumbing, and also takes pictures for proof to cover his back which I think is very good to do and knew straight away what he was talking about. Just like a doctor he knew his anatomy very well and would 100% recommend him as he is very friendly too and no awkward talks and he just gets on with it. Called Emergency plumber. Quick to respond on the coldest day of the year. After a quick diagnostic my boiler needed parts the engineer was able to to get the parts same day and restored my heating and my faith in tradesmen. Idris at 24/7 Amber is a very reliable and thorough plumber. I have called and used 24/7 Amber Plumbing a few times for different services. Most recently Idris had dealt with repairing my boiler to fix the heating and hot water in an emergency over the Christmas period as well as installing a new radiator. Did a complex job replacing a shower poorly fitted by previous owners with an external bar version to a very high standard. Moved appointments as the work moved into a second day to ensure the job was completed. Always very polite and happy to explain the process. Also replaced kitchen taps without issue. Would recommend.

Rang this morning to fit a new timer to my boiler... Not only was it fitted well but it was pointed out to me that the service I had from British Gas a month ago was absolutely rubbish so now will be baking British gas to complain
