I don’t know what the food taste like because I never got that far. I went to the City Greens in the New Orleans airport (12/27/19 at about 8:30pm). A lady with braids took my order. During the process of making my salad she had to push her hair out of her face and away from the food about 5 times. I tolerated it because she was placing the food in a bowl with utensils. However, when she got to the chicken she had to use her fingers to keep the chicken from falling out of the scooper. I tolerated that as well, but then she got to the eggs and had to use her entire gloved hands. I told her “I cannot eat your salad because your hands were in your hair and then your hands were touching all over my food.” She proceeded to throw the food away. I think everyone knows those handling food need to have their hair tied behind them and some managers go the extra mile and require head wraps. I am hoping something will be done about this. I could not find any contact information for the manager on-line to make a direct complaint.

Chose this for lunch today! It's a little hidden because it's inside the bank, but you truly cannot miss their bright green sign outside! The staff were all very kind, and the service was quick! The servings are also HUGE, making sides unnecessary and the prices seem more than fair. I had planned on building my own but kinda panicked and just got the turkey and avocado wrap, but it was so so good and full of flavor and fresh ingredients! Very happy I stopped in!

I only ate here once. The food was expensive and flavorless. Nothing fresh! I must have been the first customer of the day, because a bunch of employees were standing around looking like they weren't sure what they should be doing. I saw no menu, and was not offered one. I was greeted at the door by a friendly employee, but not offered any advice as to where to find a menu. They all just looked at me like I was an alien. Except for the cashier. She didn't want to be there. She was pretty rude. I got what looked like a promising little bowl of pasta out of a refrigerated case. It was bland, overcooked, soggy and quite disgusting. For a place called "City Greens" one would think you could find something decent and fresh.

Really friendly and helpful girl at Elmwood location. And patient, we’d never been here and had a million questions. The ingredients we could see her putting on were fresh and real, not fake gunk. We loved both soups! I forget the name of each one but I’m picky and they were both quality ingredients and delicious. She added cheese on top if we wanted- real cheese, and offered a small side of fresh sourdough bread that was so good! The wrap was huge and really good. I went back the same afternoon for a cup of the soup to take home. The price was reasonable. There was a counter with water and cups available and lemon wedges. The water tasted filtered. Very clean place too.

Thought it was great there was finally a healthy option at NOLA airport. 3 times I’ve been disappointed. One time they had two people there but neither could checkout that cash register and said I needed to come back in 30 min. Today there was a line, 2 people working, only 1 was making the food and she kept pulling her phone out and texting IN FRONT OF EVERYONE! She also kept ducking to the back (I can only imagine to continue texting on her phone). Waited in line (with only 5 people ahead of me) for 30 min before I had to leave because my flight was boarding. Don’t bother if you’re flight boards within 30 min because you won’t get your food. Such a disappointment.

Great food, better service! While the entire crew at City Greens on Poydras is wonderful, Angelica is especially amazing! She always remembers my name and makes an effort to go above and beyond for my requests. I had particularly rough day and she actually called out to me when I was in the lobby to let me know they had a special dessert in stock that is my favorite. Instantly made my day better. I know I am not the only one who feels that the service from the City Greens downtown crew is exceptional. Thank you!!

I got a tuna salad here that had two, small strips of tuna in it for a whole big bowl of greens. And the dressing wasn’t good. Then I got a turkey wrap that tasted pretty good but had about three small pieces of turkey in it for a huge wrap. Are the owners of this place broke and trying to stay afloat, or is this just a good old fashioned rip off? I do not recommend this place. To the restaurant- why are you so stingy with the protein? Its horribly tacky and ruins your otherwise tasty food.

Great service, fresh enough, but a bit pricey if you're not careful. Ordered a build your own and the price is $8.95 with no meats and only four standard toppings. I added avocado and brussel sprouts for $2.00 ea. and went over the four count by four. The standard options I paid for were things like carrots and cucumbers and red onions. This crazy overage cost me an extra four bucks. My salad ended up costing me $18.95 with tip included. Ouch!!!

One of my favorite meals in new orleans! We had city greens cater the morning of the wedding and they did not disappoint! Being vegan in new orleans is hard but city greens made it delicious and for the first time all trip I felt full (hello real protein) Plus they made my favorite cup of sweet tea all trip. All the non vegans also loved their chicken wraps and not a single wrap was leftover for the groom that night

I just had a great lunch at City Greens. BBQ chicken on a spinach wrap. So good! Fast, friendly service. They were very helpful since it was my 1st time visiting. I would definitely recommend visiting!

My experience in the past has been good at city greens. The food is always delicious. This past time, however, I ordered the chopped salad and they were out of avocado. When they asked if I want something else to replace it I asked if I could replace it with chicken. They said that is a premium meat so I still got charged the full price of the salad plus the premium meat. I thought that was a bit petty.

I've had City Greens a few times and just forgot it existed after moving away for a few years.. I just ordered it for delivery and I've completely re-established my love for it! My go-to order is the Southwest Salad no blue chips add chicken with cilantro lime and spicy chili crunch dressing mixed!

Does the Poydras location exist? Payment for takeout online was not possible for me because it required a zip code for my card information, and I'm not American. I tried ordering by phone, and the number is out of service. Finally, I went for a short walk from my hotel, and there was no clear signage anywhere near the street address. I tried. I really did.

This place recently opened in the CBD. A friend told me about it. Absolutely delicious made to order fresh salads and wraps. It's a popular and convenient lunch only spot. The food is fresh, diverse & organic. I had the salad of the day which was vegan-- yum. I so glad this place opened and glad greens are popular in the city. I will definitely be back!

I saved for months to vacation in New Orleans for my 25th birthday. As a vegetarian, I chose this place for lunch and spent the entire night projectile vomiting my overpriced spinach tofu wrap. Thanks for ruining my birthday AND tofu wraps. Next time I visit this city, I'd rather lick powdered sugar from the street than eat here.

The best salad I ever had. Really. Please expand this place throughout the US to share it healthy food and salads with the rest of us. It is a prove that eating healthy does not have to be a pain. I could eat their salads everyday.

What a great spot for those who need a break from all the other delicious (but heavy!) food New Orleans has to offer. The staff are great and the food is fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this place.

If you are looking for a fast and healthy option, City Greens is the place. You can build your custom salad or pick one of their delicious options on the menu. Their press juices are just as good.

Great place! I had the seared tuna avocado salad and it was phenomenal! Service was good too, everyone was friendly. I love the "big-city" vibe I felt inside the restaurant.
