  • "A tale of two branches"

    "Awful experience"

"The best place to buy tech you can find despite it's inability to know it's own brand, is it Currys which is for white goods, PC world for PC's and tech or carphone warehouse, it was much simpler in the old days when they were called Dixons, I needed a microphone for my new laptop which has a rubbish built in one, I had already logged off and remembered I needed one for a Skype call to my friend from the suburbs, so rather than booting up again I went to my nearest PC world instead of doing click and collect with Argos, it was mid Friday afternoon and there was more tech than customers, the man who greeted me was on the ball when I said what I was after, and took me straight away to the right section, unfortunately they don't do simple USB microphones, but I found a reasonably priced headset which is perfect for my needs, I also wanted a USB C to USB A adapter, a cheap way of using existing USB kit with the new standard, he struggled to find what I needed but they don't stock it or anything of that kind, a failing for a company that calls itself PC world, I am pleased with my purchase but my new laptop has two USB 2 ports already in use and a lonely USB C port which the microphone could happily have plugged into with the cheap adapter, obviously some people's idea of a computer world is smaller than their customers expectations, I am more than satisfied with my purchase but the lack of s simple adapter was a disappointment not worthy of company with a stunning display of the latest tech to drool over without thinking that maybe the customer might want to buy additional add on equipment as a complete package"

"Wanted to get a Bluetooth speaker, Was greeted by a pleasant man with very good manners, very helpful, but when my questions became more detailed, like which of the speakers can pair so I can get stereo sound, he told me to wait so he can call someone with more knowledge on these speakers"

"I have to write this because this company does not have an email for complaints"

A tale of two branches... I had to get some tech items in a hurry and jyst managed to get to the Oxford Street branch at 0810pm in a weekday but the doors were already closed and powered off. I checked the time and establishing I had 20mins until the published 0830pm closure I tapped on the glass until someone came over as most near the door were ignoring me as I could see they wanted to get rid of the few customers that were still inside. I showed the printout I had if what I wanted (@ £600 is price) and they let me in acknowledging my thoughts about closing time. The sales assistant was helpful and I got two of the three items I needed - thd latter (@ £100 price) was in stock at Canary Wharf. So the following day I go to the branch address as unit 28, Canary Wharf. I get to the a branch of PC World that I believed was addressed as unit 28, but with no apparent signage as far as I could see I popped in to ask if I was at the right place. At the counter one staff member was serving a customer and other attended to me. I asked clearly, and on more than one occasion if I was at the correct branch address only to have completely no acknowledgement no matter how many times I asked, particularly as that staff member had difficulty finding the item on the computer system. To the slight amusement of the other customer whom understood the simple question and the fact that if I was at the wrong branch that may explain the difficulty in finding the item, the comparison in customer service experienced between the stores was poles apart, given my attendance at the second branch wasn't anywhere near closing time. However, I got what I needed and left with wry smile and their trailing voice asking if I wanted to insure my purchase, blah blah...

Awful experience. I tried returning an online order that I had picked up from their store the day before. I was told by a customer service agent online I could return it back to the store I picked it up from. In store I was as told they couldn't accept the TV as the box was opened. The debate about how I was supposed to know it was faulty unless I opened the box went on for a while. They refused to take it back and had me complete an online return from my phone, when the option to select a pick up address or drop it back to a store came up, of course I got pretty angry. I was in their store, with a TV I purchased through them, filling out a return form which had the option to return it to a store! The manager came over and told me it was because they were a small store and something to do with DPD not accepting returns, and that I should respect their policies. As if it was my problem. I knew I should have bought the TV through John Lewis, but I hoped the chances of needing to return the TV for any reason to Currys would be pretty low. The fact that it's been a total hassle hasn't surprised me at all. Moral of the story, just buy from John Lewis, you know the return service will be hassle free. Currys is just hassle. I can't be the first person to wish to return an online order to their store. If they don't have the infrastructure to accept online returns, they shouldn't be selling online, or telling people to return items to their store. I've since called cusotmer services. They said I should have got the manager to call head office, or called head office whilst I was there. That's now 3 hours of my life I won't get back.

Wanted to get a Bluetooth speaker, Was greeted by a pleasant man with very good manners, very helpful, but when my questions became more detailed, like which of the speakers can pair so I can get stereo sound, he told me to wait so he can call someone with more knowledge on these speakers. Was looking forward to get a pair of speakers, and while I waited i paired my phone with 2 speakers to hear how these sound . Third one I tried though would not pair - it was on, in pairing mode as Bluetooth led was blinking... Then comes a very old gentleman who asked me what I am after, so I told him I am after speakers which can pair to get stereo (similar to the airbus's I am using). This person had absolutely no idea which ones are capable of doing that. I asked him on why I can't pair with the speaker I am standing Infront and he told me the speaker is probably not on (which was obviously not the case as power led was on and Bluetooth led blinking , as waiting to pair) Told the gentleman I will manage on own and left the store. You would think now that Currys is closing down shops all over the place they would try to provide a better service as this is the only thing they can do better compared to online shops. Unfortunately this was not the case for me and I had bad experience all together. Seems like I will go for option 2 and buy speakers online, hoping they are of good sound quality. Maybe they have better professionals in other departments?

I have to write this because this company does not have an email for complaints. And Customer Service (Paul 12846) was adamant that the company would not be able further help me recover my £750 spent despite a complaint (Case CC 425 2222) being filed over phone. Summary: - I was informed by a video live chat Customer Service person on the website that my desired laptop is in stock and can be requested at the branch so that it can be transferred over - I went on to purchase a discounted e- voucher on my company benefits portal. - The next day, I went to the Barbican branch, but they refused to order for me - After the visit, I further checked with Customer Service that it is still in stock in another branch - I complained to Customer Service and Paul said 1. It is up to the branch’s discretion on whether they would order for me. 2. They can’t process any refund for e- vouchers to me I proposed to Paul several actionable resolutions. He, however, told me that despite the website is showing the laptop is still in stock, there is no way that he (or Curry’s) could help me out with the situation. I am very keen that someone else will pick this up and provide a fair resolution to end this: - Directly request the laptop to be transferred to Barbican branch so that I could collect it - Provide a refund on the £750e-voucher I paid for, based on misguided information I was given

I bought a Canon 6D from this store, and frankly it was a bit of a shambles. The salesman was not the greatest, not very forthcoming or friendly. They only had the camera in the cabinet, I asked 'is there a discount for ex-display' to which he laughed and said 'no'. I really needed the camera for a wedding I knew was going to be in very low light conditions, and so purchased it. My understanding was that the camera was new. Paying £1100 for it rather than £600-700 for it from eBay second hand. I shot using the camera and noticed that there was a dead pixel in on the lcd screen – after downloading the images it became apparent that the shutter count was nearly 7,000. When I returned it, I couldn't even show the technician the dead pixel because the battery had died in camera from near full charge whilst off. In fairness, they did not question the return and gave me a full refund immediately. I had purchased a used camera for new prices – it's pretty unbelievable – I have of course returned it. I then purchased my camera from Canon directly – a new camera not second hand – as I recommend you do.

This was genuinely one of the worst costumer service I have experienced. Came in to buy a pair of headphones, aside from the fact that the employee is mumbling and slow everything is fine, but then the card machines aren’t working (not the employees’ fault). I am told to come back in 15 minutes and that my headphones will be put aside for me. I come back to find out that the headphones were put back into storage and not left at the main cash register, so now I have to wait in the now fairly big queue to the headphones stand were the same slow employee is helping people still considering different headphones options. I am forced to wait for this abhorrently slow exchange to end while an even bigger queue is forming behind me, obviously the other employees of which there were at least 4 are doing absolutely nothing. A service that should have taken 15 minutes is stretched to 45 and an otherwise exciting experience of buying a new piece of equipment is turned into an irritating and unsatisfying one. Absolutely awful

  • Bjørn Øyvind Hove Ås

Poor experience of both Currys and this shop. Bought a faulty product online and was told by customer support to take it to any store to sort it out. Already poor service to have to spend time and effort carrying a faulty product to the store. In store Khan leaves me hanging around while doing nothing for quite some time, then doesn't greet me at all before tutting and bemoaningly asking if I don't have a PDF of the receipt while holding my phone showing the PDF of the receipt. Proceeds to tell me to go to Mile End or Oxford Street to get this sorted out. Awful service to tell customers to carry their faulty product around all of London. Really poor service and completely lack of manners. I now have to spend even more hours, money and effort to sort out the non-working product Currys sold me.

Absolutely bloody useless. My partner bought a pair of AirPods and an extended warranty. The AirPods had a fault and one didn’t work, she took them back and curry’s sent them off for repair. When they returned the AirPods to her the fault was not fixed. We returned together to the shop to ask for a replacement pair as covered under the warranty. This time the staff had to details of said warranty even though we had a receipt for it. We dealt with Zed and Khan who were both completely useless and positively obstructive. It was like the old little Britain “computer says no” sketch. At no point did either of them apologise, they couldn’t escalate or deal with the issue as their “jobs would be on the line”. Pathetic customer service all round. Would not recommend.

I left a laptop for repair and after a week they sent me a sms to collect it. The assistant, Khalid just gave me back the laptop and didn't say anything. I checked it and I saw that the laptop didn't work but I thought that the problem was in the battery. So I went home and tried to charge the batteries but in vain. I went again to the shop and I told to Khalid that the laptop was not working. He was surprised and told me that he will check. At the end he told me that the the problem was water drops in computer. I asked him to give me the report which says that, but he refused and told me that report is for internal use, although the laptop is on warranty and I pay every month care&repair. So that is Curry's 7day fix promise

  • Samantha Brady

Worst Curry's... Avoid. Terrible experience both times I've visited. No customer service, no communication. Store is too big for the number of staff. Noone seems to be trained so anything you ask is complicated. It took 10 mins for someone to understand I was collecting an item I'd ordered online (from Curry's, who's have thought it) and a further 10 mins to process it. Another assist who I wanted some technical advice from proceeded to find the product online and read out the specification to me, which unsurprising I'd managed to do myself before coming into store to ask additional questions. John Lewis is largely the same price and 100% better for advice and technical assistance.

  • K L

Poorest customer service EVER on the repair side. The salesperson were not helpful and acted as if they could not be asked to be there. Their prices are outrageous providing they charge £60 just to look at your computer. Repair charge is on top. Backup not included. They tried to charge over £300 for a laptop which was no longer switching on. They also wanted to keep the machine for over a week. I went somewhere else, in Stratford in a repair centre which diagnosed the issue on the spot: the charger entry point was damaged so the battery had died and was unable to be charged again. In 24h, they were able to repair the machine and only charged £40!!! No further comments needed...

The lady that served me was very very uncompitent, no knowledge about technology at all even the basics knowledge was missing big time!!! I had to tell her how to do the job!!! She was nice but that doesn't cover her poor knowledge and shouldn't! You can't have staff like this at the branch surrounded by offices an people that are using and buying phones, laptops, Mac, and many expensive technologies! It's not her fault its a Curry's fault to allow people with no knowledge at all to serve in a store full of new and moder technologies!!! Get the right staff and look at your profit after a few months time you'll be very surprised. I'm not going to this store again!

  • Sophie Nadeau

What a huge waste of my time! I wish I had read the reviews before going into this branch. I wanted to buy a memory card and asked about the price match promise as it’s cheaper elsewhere (the price promise is clearly stated in all of their marketing material). Anyway the woman laughed at me (in front of other customers) and told me she wouldn’t honour the price match as they don’t compare the prices with online (why does it say this in the marketing material then?) and so I left empty handed. It’s unfortunate because I’ve told friends about the price match and in future I will not people not to waste their time and buy their electronics elsewhere!

  • Harry Bradstreet

Really should be calling this place genius warehouse. Loyalty to your network doesn't seem to pay anymore. Luckily the guys at Carphone warehouse barbican are there to make sure you get the best deal. Shopping about saves you alot! Now I'm paying less money per month, for a newer phone, same number, same network. It's more hassle to do it every 2 years, rather than upgrade. But I'm sure most people will be willing to do it to save £££s. 10/10 for the guys at Carphone warehouse Barbican, amazingly helpful, patient and all round excellent guys who are willing to take the time to listen and explain the best way to get the best deal.

  • Vivi N

Came to the store intending to trade in my phone and to purchase a new one so cannot testify to any of the sales/ returns experiences others have mentioned. While there were some technical issues with the trade in diagnostics software (a reflection on Currys, not the staff), Mei was very patient and friendly throughout the whole process. All while juggling other customers requests, sales and enquiries. She seemed to be the sole worker running the mobile phones department today and she was a great multi tasker. Just wanted to say a big thanks to Mei for her help and big props to her hard work.

  • Ben Carter

The chap who greeted me at the door didn't know which aisle to direct me to for Chromebooks and had to check. I was then left alone for too long and eventually when someone did check in with me to see how I was getting on they had to use their tablet to answer my questions about screen resolutions so I could have checked on my phone. There is a real cacophony of sound in the space, with TVs, speakers and computers all throwing out demos into a space with a low ceiling and no sound deadening surfaces. Still, it is really useful to have a tech shop in the City so it's a solid 3 from me.

  • Sam Halstead

Maybe the worst customer service I have ever, and will ever experience. The staff are entirely clueless and provide literally no assistance or advice other than reading off the information written down for all to see. The absolutely infuriatingly slow pace at which they work made me want to bash my head through the tv which I just purchased. There were plenty of staff there in the store but it took 30mins until one of them helped us, and only after we asked. Prior to this they were all skulking around the store on their phones, with no intention of actually doing their job.

  • Brian Heney

Visited this store today the tranquility of a space dedicated to the customer was obvious from the minute I walked in. The product I was looking for was retrieved immediately it was short of total recall. I also spoke to a member of staff about the comparative between the Samsung S7 tab in the apple product. They have everything as this tab with the S21 ultra is the next level of personal computing. Worth a visit and their merchandising professionals need to be congratulated it's totally obvious the staff work to make this a great retail experience. Thank you Currys.

  • Jack Wright

Useless. Non committal staff asked about android tablets and informed no one here really knows about them. Asked about keyboard options for tablets: didn't know. Asked about stylus options for tablets: didn't know. Staff member couldn't demonstrate the most basic functions of Galaxy Tab S8 which is currently their POS highlight offer in-store. Clearly in the market to purchase but staff member couldn't care less. Asked opinion about apple Vs Samsung and said I'm a graphic artist what do you recommend and got: don't know. Useless.

  • Nathaniel Nathi

I asked one of the lady's about a display cable which I needed for my portable monitor. She then suggested one which looked like a normal phone charging cable. I asked her twice if this is the one I need and she said yes. I got home and the cable did not work on my monitor. I do not know whether, English was a barrier to communication since she is Asian, but I trusted her judgement and now I wasted 8 pounds since I can't return the product as it is not in its original packaging. I'm disappointed.

  • Caitlin Arana

Customer repair centre is utterly horrible. My MacBook Pro had some display issues exactly 1 year after I bought It from the store. they asked me £722 (Without considering £60 for looking it up) to “fix” it without telling me what’s wrong with it.... had to call them and visit the store multiple times to known what happened with my MacBook. It Took them one month to give me an update and an abusive report. Don’t get anything from that store nor take your goods to their repair centre.

  • Mark Gregory

5* customer service. Small city centre store. Has a good selection of small electronic goods, but not so much the larger household white goods, which makes sense for a store in this location. Came here to make a warranty exchange. They made it very painless and staff very helpful. Was inspired to purchase other items in preference to Amazon knowing now that I would get support if there was an issue. I would like to call out Khalif and Pik in particular for their outstanding service.

  • Nicola Piedimonte

It was the first time I bought from PC world and I will never do it again. In the pandemic I went to buy some headphones and the clerk was wrong to give me the correct ones, I went back to the store to ask to replace them with the correct model and they say that too much time has passed ... But I had to stay at home, the service customers and assistance both web and telephone practically useless. Now I find myself with a never opened product. Always buy on amazon guys. Tbh

  • Ryan

Staff at Carphone Warehouse were friendly and helped find a phone within my budget as well as a good deal on a case and screen protector. Recommend this branch of Currys as it has a large range of laptops to try before you buy. Being a central London location, it is limited on space compared to larger branches in outlet store locations. Definitely a good place to browse electronics, TVs, audio, cameras, computers, and mobile phones.

  • ian1989

I wanted to buy a panini maker that was advertised on the main site and was told they only have a very limited number of kitchen products. They have said they are focusing on mainly computer products. I found this very disappointing even though they gave an option of ordering in the item, I really wanted the item there and then to use it straight away. This is not down to the shop assistants but the store operation in general .

  • Georgios Giasemidis

We got there looking for a TV. When we found one we wanted to buy, we couldn't find an available member of staff to help us with the purchase. Then Nierosen (I hope I spell it correctly) showed up. He was very knowledgeable, helpful and eager to help us; he also gave us a couple of techie suggestions that were well beyond his duties. Really professional guy, saved the not so great customer service of the store.

  • Andrew

Absolute crooks. I came here to return an item within 14 days of purchase. The person working at the checkout damaged the packaging while checking its condition and the manager then made up something about having to add it to the system first before contacting me the next week to process the refund. They never contacted me and I was unable to return the product in the end. Don’t buy anything from here.

  • Ahmad Asif

Friendly and helpful staff. A variety of products to choose from. In a convenient location. Isn't a large store so they don't have all the products Currys PC world sell. It can get really busy at times so just have to be patient for a sales assistant to become available. Overall, a lot of information provided on the product you want and a nice and well looked after store. I had a good experience.

  • Steven Dutes

Sold me an expensive laptop (£1400 Samsung Galaxy book2 Pro); it is flawed in its design because the keyboard continually accumulates very visible marks if you wear a watch and/or cufflinks. When I tried to return it after 9 days, store refused to take it because the device was still functional. If you must buy from Currys, at least buy online (I suspect you will have better service/protection).

  • A WillOB

I went in to this branch to specifically buy a new iPhone 14 pro Max. After waiting 10 minutes for one of the staff to come and help, I gave up and am going elsewhere to buy. This was before the lunch rush and at least 4 members of staff were stood around. How are you going to compete with the internet if your unique selling point (physical store with staff to help) isn’t functioning?

  • Natasha Rowley

This review is for Zed at the Barbican store. Thank you so much for helping me this past week with a cancelled order... You went above and beyond to make sure I had my gaming PC today so my son was not disappointed! I appreciate all of your help. You really went out of your way and you didn't have to do that. You have been amazing and Currys is lucky to have you, thanks once again.

  • Samanta Cantini Di Loreto

I went to buy a phone and they had very few in stock. I wasted about twenty minutes to be served and then be asked to ask someone else because in that area they open contract with phones and they don't give any phone free sim card but the other side of the shop. I went there and one of the staff told me that they have few phone for each brand. So I only wasted my time!

  • Fabri

Worst customer service ever, the staff, all tho the store is empty, feels like they are doing you a favour serving you. Asked for a game as there was a case in display, and reluctantly the staff member said there was nothing wrong with having an empty case on display very aggressively. Teach your staff some manners, they obviously need retraining. Gross.

  • Dilal Ahmed

Terrible customer service, the disgusted look on one of the senior sales assistants. For wanting to price match with Amazon (as stated on their website). No wonder Curry's on the verge of bankruptcy. Next time I think I'll just order from anywhere but Curry's and save myself the unnecessary attitude and agro. Try John Lewis amazing customer service.

  • Ketan Desai

This is a very strange store. I visited twice and was given the following reasons why I couldn't buy the item I was looking for: - The displayed price is wrong - The item is on clearance and it is illegal to sell - Only a Sony operative is allowed to access the cabinet - We do not sell the item in the cabinet I will definitely not be returning!

  • Oliver Galvin

Website said store had stock of a game I wanted. When I got there they told me they had no stock, even though on the website it said they did…. Staff couldn’t give me a reason why website said they had stock…. Also no number to call the store on their website…. Terrible service and customer experience…. No wonder curry’s is going bankrupt

  • woshielena

The shop has a bit of choice for some devices and IT tools, the staff is very polite and tries to be very helpful however some of them have no idea of what you're asking if you mention any article slightly more technical. They offer the knowhow service for devices repair which is good. £60 deposit/cost + any piece or suppl.

  • Giorgio Pili

I knew what I needed. Went straight to the printers aisle. A lovely lady approached me asking if I needed any help. I did. She helped me on my decision and quickly choose the printer for me. She took the printer to the till where I paid. In just over 6 minutes I was outbof the shop with my new printer. Thumbs-up

  • Jamie D

Small store with limited selection. Inadequately trained staff giving incorrect information about price promise, but the staff are still friendly enough when they actually get round to serving you (often rushed off their feet). Best thing about this store is its location, not many branches in central London.

  • Peter Rhodes

if you ask them not to email or phone you with special offers, they will anyway. i am a business customer. the manager insisted that i give him my phone number. he specifically promised i would not be phoned with bs sales offers. they phoned me anyway because they do not keep their promises. very irritating.

  • Will Cronin

Ignored and had to ask for help, served by 3 staff all didn't know the answers so I had to Google the details of a product myself. After paying I witnessed 6 staff members having a meeting at the front of the store with snacks. Not great service as I did 95% of it myself, 5% was ringing it through the till

  • William Timpany

They have the full set of laptops that you would find at a bigger store. As with most items for sale in PC World the prices are OK. I usually wait until there is a special offer before making a purchase. The offers on laptops change on a regular basis so there should be something for everyone.

  • Daumantas Andrasunas

well I bought the phone in this shop. Great customer service. staff is very well informed, about their products and very friendly. had to come back in a store some time later. because of an issue with the phone. and everyone was helpful and friendly, I would recommend it. Oh and no queues :)

  • Matt Gledhill

This store's quite compact and everything feels on top of itself. Didn't get pestered by sales staff whilst browsing which was pleasant by its absence. Would sooner shop online for the breadth of their catalogue as not everything is shown. Found prices were quite a bit better online too.

  • Robert D.

Good experience with the staff. I bought a camera bag that broke, I returned it after a month and got back a gift card. Later I bought an Alexa Echo with the gift card, returned it because I didn't like it and bought some bluetooth speakers. The staff was understanding and helpful.

  • Eureka Lobo

George at curry’s on my visit today was so helpful and kind.. he managed to find the very last item I was looking for a while. He was kind enough to help us try different speakers as well to make the right choice. Lovely chap!! Give him employee of the month.. deserves it!!

  • Titus Singh

Went to buy some headphones, wouldn't let me try them out, or even see them out of the box. Ok, "can I return them if I don't like the sound quality?" "no, that's the problem with headphones." Utterly useless. Why would I spend £100 on headphones that I can't even try.

  • Bill Sherlock

The disadvantage of online stores is that you can't physically touch the purchase until it arrives. So for things like keyboards and computer mice, you need to go touch a range and make your choice. As Currys are fairly reasonablly priced you do that then and there.

  • Gordon Warburton

The store was clean, and well laid out. The team were well meaning, but seemed unorganised. I was passed to 3 different people all at different places in the store before anyone could answer my query and even then they were shouting to each other across the store.

  • Chandni Patel

I visited this store to refund my item and managers refused to do it claiming they don't sell the item. However, On curry's website it Cleary states I can refund my item in any store. Beside he will not disclose his name upon asking him. Horrible customer service

  • Jeremie D

When holding a valid confirmation for a collect item results in the store manager blaming you that they are out of stock on that item. Can't even offer an apology, a bit of empathy or make an effort to suggest an alternative. Thanks but no thanks, never again!

  • Alexis Nelson

A compact store with a tiny Carphone and pretty weak opening hours but for what it is it's a handy one to have. Not necessarily gonna save your life during an electrical appliance emergency but might be a handy collection point of you're in the City.

  • Mann Chin

My ultrabook costing £850 ( which was insured) died within few days they could not help or get if fixed on time. Stay away, better buy straight from the manufacturer. Staff in the shop are very rude; may be they were hired based on their rudeness.

  • Emily Everett

Great help. A young man helped me a few weeks ago. I think his name may have been Aqab. He was a great help, advised me on which laptop which was most suitable for me as well as offering me a quick service helping purchase airpods. Thank you!!

  • Nagaprasad N

Save yourself. A nightmare to return the product immediately after collecting it. Turned out I ordered wrong, immediately asked to return after collection. Asked to come back tomorrow and when back tomorrow asked can’t do it store, try online.

This store is listed as being open 24hrs on Sunday. Absolute rubbish! ! Came down with the wife this afternoon to upgrade IPad & Phone and the place was shut fast. No hours displayed on the outside either. A wasted journey! Need to do better.

  • Marcel R

Ridiculous prices for everyday items. The website suggests that they have decently priced basics such as HDMI cables. However, in the store itself you can only get versions at 4 or 5 times that price. Store itself is clean and not too busy.

  • Magda Oldziejewska

Thanks for the super speedy and helpful support, Liam! Your help was much appreciated, helped me sort out an issue I couldn't get sorted for weeks in less than a minute. I wish customer service was always this speedy and straightforward.

Went during a sale. Got what I wanted because I knew what I wanted. Staff were absolutely useless, almost as if they're trying to drive customers away. If I didn't urgently need a phone, I would have walked out and bought one online.

  • Sebastian D.

Just don't go there they have no clue what they are doing. Just tried to trade in a phone to get a new handset. Noone there, no staff, covid, clueless staff, excuses and that's in the middle of London?? What a muppet show or shop.

  • Mr Dobalina

Went in to ask about 4k monitors with a high refresh rate, the guy at the front was very polite and directed me to Tottenham Court Road store. Every time I go to this store the staff are polite and they don't waste time.

  • Ofelas Andre

Returned product and there was no fuss, got excellent advise on the replacement by a Mr Merton. He even said "Sorry we did not get it right the first time" (was not his advise!) Well done and I will return to this place.

Although online shopping is the major force, I still like to touch and feel the real products, especially for home appliances. Here's few places in London you can actually see those "reasonably priced" appliances.

  • Sam Khoshkholgh

Worst shop ever, i just needed to pick up delivery from them, they waist like about 5 hours of my time and 3 continues days to just give it to me, one day system had error another day employer was sick.....

  • WeAreZalmi

5 ⭐️ to KHAN & Georghe the best service and 0 star to the manager called MARK the worst & HORRIBLE PERSON EVER. Curry’s needs to take a serious action as he’s ruining the curry’s customers

  • Allison James

Friendly and helpful staff. Had to get laptop repaired. They tried everything instore to get it working, though in end it had to be sent off the manufacturer. I appreciated their efforts.

  • Jasmine

If you know what you want you’re in luck - someone is always at the door to ask and lead you straight to it. If you’re browsing they’re happy to help with questions. Thanks guys!

  • Sebastian “B3457 M4CK 21” Addai-Matthews

Excellent service. They have patience they just need to sort out outside entrance for people in wheelchair users etc. Come on stop think of your self. I'm.fl real!! …

  • Justin Higgins

Very helpful staff with a good range of laptops on display. The only frustration is that stock isn't kept at the store so order online before going if you're in a hurry.

  • James Harcus

Currys website said they were open today (sunday). When actually they were closed. Google maps had it right though. Wish i checked google before making the journey.

  • Ian Dowsett

Took a while to get what we were looking for. Shop assistant was very slow and charged us for a carrier. Good range of pc and other electrictronics stuff though.

  • suraaj kumar

Not a customer friendly service. Online returns/refund policy don't apply for offline stores. So beware before buying. Trail it and buy in online anyways

  • Richard Bankole

Very nice staff giving 100% to support you. You'll get the latest and trending devices here at the best prices. Speedy and affordable delivery too.

  • Naina Taylor

I used this store for the ‘click and collect’ service. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and I had my order within minutes.

  • Mar

It’s written that it opens 24 hours on Sundays, and here we go it’s closed, urgh spent 35 minutes traveling to go there …

  • N Rao

If there was a less than one star I would give it. The employees are rude and don't have any notion of customer service.

  • Garreth Tinsley

Good service, staff easy to find and helpful though it did take them a while to find the product I was looking for.

  • david power

I was after bluetooth speaker but expensive in here I bought 1 in tx max for £30 im sure I saved meself a few quid

  • Adam Gronowski

Employees are rude and unhelpful. Also their price promise is a scam and false advertising, they don't honour it.

  • Sue Prosser

The staff member was incredibly helpful and took the time to go through my needs and show me various laptops.

  • Natasha Taupin

Was nice to be able to go in and just having a look around. The salesmen were around but didn't interfer..

  • Carlos U

Worst shop ever Bought a TV that after 5 days does not work Second hand shops sell even better things

  • Jamie Kunz

Went for 9am, but wasn't opening until 9.30 due to staff shortages - so didn't make it inside.

  • vandhana sankar

I bought my pixel here on a rainy day and the executive Sitara was very polite n kind with us

  • Nishant Surwe

Thank you very much George for your suggestion! I totally love my purchase (JBL Boombox 2).

  • Kevin McGrane

Was informed when able to pick up, and was ready for collection when I arrived in store.

  • Danny Allan

Says they open at 9am, but refused to let customers in because they were short staffed.

  • Rajvirsinh Bharthaniya

They made me stand there like they don't care. Felt disrespectful. Not worth visiting

  • Joshua Burgess

Helpful customer service and a wide range of products. Will visit again when nearby

  • Alex Cheyne

I picked up a click and collect order here - very friendly and efficient.

  • Abdul Basit

More curries and more space curry pc world more product inside good luck

  • Jack Baylor

Very slow, if helpful, service, low on stock for many items.

  • Graham Lee

Much to expensive, cant compare to argos and other retailers

  • Marek Zaba

Good selection of the electronics. Nice staff.

  • J G

Limited stock whenever I visit this store.

  • Mike Ralphson

Very handy location, but a bit pricey.

  • Andy P

Plenty of staff, quick service.
