"We recently moved to the area from out of state (surprise surprise)"
"Took years to finally open it up, which looks pretty cool, the only thing I wish they did was add more parking, your driving around like a vulture waiting for someone to leave lol"
"Sooo beautiful looved that its dog friendly"
"This is an excellent place to hike and it offers several trails to go around"
"Great place for a hike but leave before the sun goes down there is a chance a creepy old man will stare at you for an awkward amount of time, I suppose hoping for a date"
We recently moved to the area from out of state (surprise surprise). My daughter and I did an impulse stop at this park and the very moment we stepped on the trail we fell in love. We were here at dusk and the view of the sun setting in the horizon over the city was a true life post card. It's a really beautiful & calm place
Took years to finally open it up, which looks pretty cool, the only thing I wish they did was add more parking, your driving around like a vulture waiting for someone to leave lol. Also, I'm glad the put up a bigger sign for the horse trailer area, I've seen so many people getting parking tickets More
Sooo beautiful looved that its dog friendly. It has multiple types of trails from easy through intermediate. The views are gorgeous just make sure to have lots of water and try to go early in the morning or late in the evening bec. it gets realy hot!!
This is an excellent place to hike and it offers several trails to go around. Today I chose Trail 100. It is definitely a more moderate level Trail, if you're just starting out hiking you may want to wait a few weeks and Hike some easier
Great place for a hike but leave before the sun goes down there is a chance a creepy old man will stare at you for an awkward amount of time, I suppose hoping for a date. I am not making this up it happened to me after my run, and I was
Hike the Freedom Trail at Sunset. Due to construction to upgrade and beautify the trail entrance and parking at the Northern Road entrance, you want to access these trails from the backside. Pickup the Freedom Trail (the 1) from either
This is a great local, to Phoenix, area to go to hike and walk. We also saw a number of mountain bikers. It is dog friendly, which was nice. The views of the western valley and Phoenix are spectacular. Located just off of Hwy 51, it is
Dreamy Draw is part of the Phoenix Mountains Preserve. There are plenty of trails to hike that connect to other part of the preserve and even other parts of the city. It's nice to have a nature preserve right in the middle of the city.
As a person that seldom goes hiking the trail was moderately easy. It's very nice because the base of mountain has a concrete sidewalk perfect for bikes and beginner hikers that want to get used to elevation conditioning.
I didn’t have much time to spend here, however it’s good for short, long or in between walks/hikes. Lots of people brought their dogs. Not as crowded as some parks. I will come back when I have more time to explore.
I love hiking here. Trails are really nice but watch your step. People bring their dogs which is cool, but don't always pick up after them. Always remember to bring water including for your pet even for short hikes.
Great area for beginner and intermediate hikers with some advanced stuff off the normal path. Looked like some good biking trails and did see some biking down the paths. Had alot of fun and really enjoyed myself!!
Beautiful park! Great trails for all levels of hikers & mountain bikers. Sad people don’t just clean up after their dogs. That’s not the parks fault it’s the dirty people. WATCH YOUR STEP! that’s all we’ll say.
So many hiking trails. Bikers, hikers, horses and scenery. Even when it gets crowded you can find yourself peacefully alone. There's always something new to see, something new in each season. A local treasure.
First time to this park, really enjoyed it. My new fave! Great little trails off main paved path to make your own hike. Not as crowded as 32nd St. Got stuck in rain but saw this lovely rainbow on way out
Great park except it's been closed for to long bc the military is digging up the UAP there and building more of their hallow mountain base system out and they need to hurry up and open the park back up.
Nice trails in heart of city but very poorly marked. Sign posts have worn off. They have taken doors off rest room stalls (probably due to past problems) so there's no privacy offered.
Probably the best park in Phoenix. Been under renovation since before I moved here. Glad it's finally reopened and was it ever worth the wait! Really good park. Beautiful paved paths.
Well kept recreation area with great views. Gorgeous place to get back-to-nature without leaving the metro. Well paved bike path for biking ,as well as, more challenging dirt trails.
Access for many with new ramps, nice makeover. Trails pretty much the same with many great hiking areas. Would highly recommend this place. Weekends great crowded! More
I dropped by on a rainy day. Things cleared up for a sec so I was able to stop by for a quick hike. It was definitely worth the view! ⛰️ ️☁️️☁️️
Took this trail to Piestewa Peak and back, it was a gorgeous hike. The wildflowers were in bloom and the views were stunning. Not nearly as crowded as Piestewa.
A great place to get outside--very impressive variety of trails for what is technically a city park in the middle of the 5th largest metro area in the US...
This park offers clean private bathrooms with flushing toilets. Handwashing sinks are provided as well. This is the finest park in the Phx mt preserve More
I hiked the Irregular Link trail and it was a very relaxing hike with a nice elevation gain, great views, not too crowded. Just perfect!
Beautiful. Lots of hiking trails for all levels of fitness. Bike path. Restrooms. Picnic tables. I've seen all age groups. Bring water!
Dreamy Draw is great for a leisurely nature walk or bike ride. There is a paved trail but also plenty of unpaved trails to explore.
Good renovation. Trail markers and map are hard to cross correlate. Confusing which trails are which. Great new restrooms More
Great hiking trails/ beautiful sunsets I just love it. Kids like it too. You can go for a walk or take your bike!!
Pristine mountains in the Phoenix mountain preserve… Dog friendly but they must remain on a leash. Leave no trace
Very cool. Watch your step, bring sunscreen, water, swiss army knife and Paracord as well as enough snacks. More
