My favorite Park. The upper level Park is more of an "activity area;" I would say: with the playground, and baseball field; and, the bottom level "on the beach" has more of the "scenic view" I would say? If you're "physically challenged" it'll probably be hard walking down to the beach level. There's a fairly good size hill walking down to it: going back up is a little challenging (for me with my physical disabilities). Farther down on the other end is a good parking lot where it might possibly be a little easier making down/up to the beach if physically disabled if you have an "electric wheelchair" with the bigger wheels maybe. I should've took more pictures. The squirrel's are amazing! They
Playground
Yes. Nice size one. Also a baseball field.
Restrooms
Yes. Next to the playground.
Dog-friendliness
On a leash; or, doing things like catching frisbee with his0her Master. Thank you for picking up your pet doggy's droppings.
Picnic area
Yes. Covered picnic area's with fire burning pits; or, not. It's a nice size park Sporadically placed benches to also sit and eat/drink; or, lovely to also just lay your blanket down on a good spot on the grass and picnic.

I only come to this park because of its proximity to the water, but I doubt I will visit again soon. The parking situation is terrible, and it isn't easy to find a spot. Additionally, the park needs to be better maintained. The city should consider improving the landscaping in the area. While walking on the trails, I noticed a tree that looked like it could fall at any moment. This poses a hazard and could potentially result in a lawsuit. The city should be mindful that families use the trails frequently. Besides the tree, I observed that the fence/gate along the path also needs repair. For parents who want to walk on the trail leading to the water, please be vigilant and watch your child. It saddens me to report that the park's seating areas could be in better condition. During my observation, I noticed that some of them were unfortunately damaged.
Restrooms
The restrooms are not as clean as I expected. But what more can you expect from Seattle?

Bruun Idun was a sight to see, with a beautiful backdrop and a view of the water. While not terribly challenging, if going through Lincoln Park- Bruun is the 'hardest' to find and get to. A leisure walk in the woods until you hear the water, then a steep staircase down to the beach. (There is a more leisure path down to the beach around the corner from the steps) Unlike the other trolls I saw, there are no signs marking the way to get to her. The walk itself is not too long, but she is not visible from the parking lot and you will have to go down to the beach area. There may be other ways to access the beach, but if you park at the park, the only way is through the woods and then down. :)
Restrooms
Closed for the season (Winter)
Dog-friendliness
Great areas to walk. Remember that dogs are not allowed on the actual beach area.
Picnic area
Plenty of great spots for a picnic! As well as some seating areas.

Awesome place to have covered picnics with reservations also. Good place to bring , leash laws are required. During the summer & a little longer they have a salt water swimming facility. Very popular place during the summer months. This year it was the first place to catch PINK SALMON from the beach in the Seattle area. Multiple bathrooms. Awesome views of the Fauntleroy ⛴️. A few Fly Fisher-persons brave the crowds for PINK SALMON. Also Fly Fisher-persons try to catch SEA RUN CUTTHROAT TROUT here. Back to the picnic tables there are many that are free when there open. Stephen C HAYES ♥️01/12/24--with the cold winter weather, the birds &animals find it much harder to find food and water, survival of the fittest definitely rules here! I'm a Falcon at heart, and I can't imagine surviving such harsh weather conditions! Cold weather is always the toughest time of the year for these animals!

Beautiful waterfront park with large paved trail along the beach. Great for walking and dog walking, fishing. Very well maintained with lots of benches and picnic tables to enjoy the view. Best highlight is the beautiful troll next to Colman pool. Great destination for a beach walk to see the troll. The only downside is to see the troll it's a pretty long walk from the parking lot and remember the hike back on a pretty steep uphill.
Restrooms
More than 1, very clean. 1 at Colman pool and 1 near the picnic shelter
Dog-friendliness
Lots of people walking their dogs on leash
Picnic area
Lots of tables and benches along the trail, even a covered picnic shelter. Great view of the water and Vashon Island ferry terminal with ferries activities.

Good park for a picnic in West Seattle. Nice wooded area and grassy fields that weren't crowded for a sunny weekend. Plenty of picnic tables. We were there to have a picnic in the woods and enjoy the shade, and there were lots of good spots for that. Also a lot of squirrels who wanted to join us, but none were bold enough to make a dash for the food. It looked like efforts have been made to keep the brambles cut in the underbrush, which made our experience better. The restrooms were clean, stocked with toilet paper, and well lit. Parking lot was busy, but cars regularly left so we didn't have a problem.
Restrooms
Clean, stocket with toilet paper, functional.

Very pretty and nice park. Nice view of the ocean and lots of fun trails. And everyone there is so nice. And it's full of nice families with their dogs! And it has a big troll made from wood, which is very cool. Highly recommend going to this park! I very much enjoyed my visit.
Playground
Small and nice playgrounds are here.
Restrooms
There are plenty of restrooms if needed
Dog-friendliness
Very dog friendly. Lots of dogs and everyone there is kind and friendly and everyone picks up from there dogs
Picnic area
Lots of chairs and tables and beaches are all around the park with shelters.

Love this place. I've been taking my wife, who's originally from out of state, to different parks around western Washington. We've been to 10 or so. This is by far her favorite. It has a huge area of forest and walking trails, ball fields, kids playplace, and trails that take you from the forest down to the beach. The beach is a huge strip that has a beautiful view of the Olympic Mountain Range with gorgeous sunsets. There is an enclosed pool area down along the beach too. This place is good for walkers, runners, bikers, sun bathers, or people who dare to play in the Puget Sound's cold waters. May you enjoy!

Truly individual, couple, or family magic. Four and a half miles of trails in old growth woodlands and along the beachfront on Puget Sound just north of the far away and this place truly is magical from five picnic areas with coverage shelters, to renovated playgrounds, a saltwater swimming pool, and one of them both strolls. Strolls I love everything about this place every time I'm there and can do anything from playing in the sand to watching the eagles to watching fisherman fishing for salmon off of the shore. Love this place and it is a hidden gem in the midst of West Seattle

Our first visit to this park and we cannot wait to come back to explore more. It’s huge and lovely. Many trails and trees. In fact there’s a Sequoia in there we want to visit next time. I love trees and there’s plenty variety to stand in awe of. They truly are beautiful here. It’s fairly hilly but makes for a good walk/hike. The beach is on the backside and down from the hill. We haven’t explored everywhere yet but I believe this is how access there is from any trail. We also want to visit the pool here. It is located on the beach or very close to it according to the map.

  • K Rinehart

We went to see the Troll down past the pool, and he was wonderful! Handicap access is limited to four spaces down below. There is a turnaround area, however, so I was able to drop my husband off and return to the upper lot and reverse that when we left to pick him up.
Restrooms
There were "real" bathrooms open on the outside of the building that houses the pool.
Dog-friendliness
Lots of dogs on leash. It was a wide enough path for all of us, and it made me wish we had brought our dog!

What a beautiful walk along the shore. I had an amazing time with my family here. The environment is relaxing and you can find a variety of views along the trail, such as the ferry terminal in which we can see the ferry leaving, the famous giant Troll, and Puget sound water. Most of the trail is paved, which ideal to bring a stroller, go for a run, or walk your dog. There is a playground and a picnic area in the park to hang out with your family.

A magical park. Orcas, bald eagles, seals, and sea lions grace these majestic shores on a daily basis. Whether it be on the shore or in the forest, this is one of the greatest parks anywhere. Absolutely stunning. People (like me) who grew up elsewhere understand what a true privilege it is to live nearby. We must do everything to protect her. Incredibly dog friendly. A great place to paddle board, run or nature walk. Plenty of parking.

  • Carolyn Glines

Beautiful park with walking paths through trees, meadows, and along the beach, with views of beautiful mountains in the distance. Pet friendly. Lots of benches and picnic tables. Peaceful and beautiful! Two good sized parking lots up top and one very small, handicapped only parking lot down by the beach. The top lots also have handicapped parking. The beach is not sand, but rather, rounded rocks. Still a nice place to spend the day.

  • Iconic Thibodeaux (Iconic Thibodeaux)

A great place for a stroll with the family. Happy to see the big troll out there! It's much bigger in person than I'd realized in pictures. Def go check it out and really appreciate the craftsmanship that went into it. We also saw a seal or two while walking the beach. Lots of cool little trails into the woods. Peaceful.
Picnic area
Plenty of areas and tables to have a picnic at

  • Sean Berger

Lincoln Park is beautiful to walk through, you can't beat the walk on the water. I hope the city adds more features like finally finishing the children's playground at the south end and updating some of the shelters. Otherwise, great place to have in the city.
Playground
The playground on the north end of the park is great. No playground on the south end (yet)

  • Erik Cutts

Visited the troll and walked along the ocean. Kid played in one of the log forts along the beach. Keep an eye out for the ever present seals! The larger big playground is up on the hill in the east of the park and there are smaller swings near the west entrance along the beach. There are also playfields and running/walking trails but no off leash areas for dogs.

  • Kristen

What a nice park! The trails seem to all connect to each other and lots of room to spread around. Bring a lunch and enjoy. One of the trails led us to see the new famous Giant Troll on display. Please keep the park clean.
Dog-friendliness
Please leash your pet accordance with the rules of the park. Please pick up after your pet too.

  • Danielle

Great Park! Lots of very nice trails and a great park! We explored this park to find the troll, which was located down towards the beach. Somewhat Hard hike on the way up, going down super easy, and there are stairs to use, but steep going up. Beautiful beach/waterfront. Great place to explore. Very friendly squirrels and tons of parking

I loved it here Was my first time My partner is moving out of state, so it was great to share this part of WA with him before he left. Very intimate and beautiful. Lots of walking space, sitting and just a beautiful view to admire.
Playground
So amazing!
Picnic area
Lots to sit and stand around room!

  • Deena Larson

Great place for sunsets! There are beach trails and also trails through some trees. A quick little getaway to make it feel like you're not in the city. There's also a few playgrounds for kids and some areas for picnics. There are restrooms on the beach. Very pet friendly. Overall a great walking/hangout spot!

  • Joshua Thompson

An absolutely beautiful stretch of waterside pavement that goes quite a ways and then turns to gravel. Beach side wood and a few park areas are present. A bathroom is also available and it can get really quite beautiful down there. Great experience. lots of trails with huge trees and a baseball field up top.

  • Rick Gray

Beautiful park on a sunny autumn morning. Driving home I saw a story about the troll in the park and decided to stop and look for it. We had a wonderful walk through the wooded trails and wound down to the waterfront. The troll was amazing to see and quite whimsical. A beautiful and peaceful morning.

06/30/23: this park is large, with tons of small trails, picnic areas, benches, and beautiful views. The parking is enormous and close to the ferry. I love how people bring children here to play and learn the Mother Nature. I enjoyed the beach with its outstanding views and I felt relaxed and calm.

  • Karina Chemali Shinckel

The beach is a great spot to fish, according to seasons. The park is really nice with a short "hike" but it's more of a walking easy park. Be careful not to take the stairs trail if you have knees problems ot have elderly guests. Don't forget tp pay a visit to our new Troll. It's GREAT!

  • Noise Maker

These trails are excellently maintained, suitable for both trail running and leisurely walks. You'll find plenty of seating areas to rest and enjoy the beautiful views. Feel free to bring some organic food (without salt or other chemicals) to feed the friendly squirrels along the way.

  • Matthew Martin

Many walking trails in the woods and along the waterfront. Great for walking your dogs, relaxing watching marine life, and playing various sports. Baseball field, soccer field, kid's ziplines, swings and more to enjoy. Bathrooms available, two parking lots, and a new troll to visit!

Such great trails, views and wilderness. Many places to have a quiet secluded picnic. Natural beauty abounds everywhere. Perfect trail to stroll along the waterfront. Bathrooms available as well as free parking. Dogs love to explore and walk the trails, very dog friendly. More

Beautiful and peaceful spot, on a clear day you can see the Olympic mountains. The park is a great spot for a picnic, hitting some balls and for the kids to run around, also has children’s play area and public toilets. Parking can be little tight.

  • lisa h

Great walk in the park to find this troll. Lots of friends and families, people with their dogs, runners, and walkers. We wound around different trails and enjoyed the weather. There was plenty of parking and lots to see in this lovely park.

  • Arian Kulp

Beautiful park to walk around. The driftwood is very cool, the areas are very clean, and everything is well-maintained. It's really a great gem in Seattle. We walked along the water from one end to another. Lots of people out walking their

I really enjoy the park but it has gotten out of control! Now going on 6 times I have gone to Lincoln, walked around and encountered 20+ people smoking out meth pipes!!! Teens also hangout and smoke weed and drink at the playground!! More

Nice place seeing the troll was cool. She is my favorite. Bathrooms could be cleaner If your elderly or physically impared the hike back up the hill might be a bit much.

A wonderful regional park with fabulous views, art, trails, picnic areas with tables, and a seasonal pool. Woods, hills and shoreline are all here. A West Seattle gem.
