Its taken me 3 years to post this review. I was going to not post anything negative against a hairdresser, but seeing the positive reviews and knowing how long it took (2 years!!) For my hair to recover from my visit at Logix i feel others need to be warned. Taylor absolutely DESTROYED my hair! I had the best haircut in years from Taylor, she really took the time to do a precision cut so with that confidence i booked in for a few highlights, to bring out more of my new natural white and silver hair i had been growing out. Taylor assured me she could bring more silver platinum to my face frame area after i showed her my inspo pictures. I went in the following week and showed her the photos again. Again she was confident she could do it. I was so excited! After 5 hours of sitting in the chair and she wasnt even done putting in the highlight panels, I said i was worried about my hair frying and Taylor said "No worries, Swartzkoff has a built-in Olaplex so it wont damage your hair" Well at the FIVE HOUR mark and she was only just getting to the front with the back area where she started having been sitting with bleach and processor for 5 hrs i insisted she take it off the back or i wasnt going to have any hair left i said. When my hair was being rinsed at the sink, i knew my hair was damaged because she wasnt washing it or touching it as a stylist normally does. I got back to her chair again in front of the mirror and i could see it was a disaster, even wet. She had another employee help her try to comb thru my hair. I had been there a total of 8 1/2 hrs at this point. For JUST HIGHLIGHTS, on shoulder length hair. They couldnt even comb my hair!! I left there with wet fried hair and she agreed it wasnt the exact color i was looking for but said she could fix it next week. My hair was not only fried but she tried to do a root blend that looked horrible. I didnt ask for a root blend at all!! Heres the kicker: she charged me $880!!!!!! Vidal Sassoon /rock star stylists dont charge that much and especially if youve FRIED MY HAIR so badly you cant get a comb through it. I left the salon with wet fried hair and crying and made it to Sally Beauty before closing to foolishly see if there was a mask i could use to help save my hair. I wasn't offered any products to help from Taylor. The manager at Sally immediately looked at me and said, "OMG, WHO did that to your hair?! Honey, your hair is going to fall out or break right off, you know that right?!" I went back the next day after sleeping on it and waking up to broken hair all over my pillow, sheets and on my clothes. My hair was completely toast. And id never felt uglier. I demanded to speak to the owner who then arrived at the salon to take a look. He admitted it was bad and he couldnt understand why she (Taylor) put so many baby lights in my hair or tried to do a root blend because he saw what my hair started out as during my haircut appointment and said i didn'tneed any of what she attempted. He was shocked when i showed him the inspo photos i had shown Taylor, agreeing it looked nothing like them. But he assured me he could get my hair back to healthy if i gave him 1 year of his expertise because "hes done a few hair recoveries". Tony's idea of a "magical hair recovery " included: 1. A large bottle of hair conditioner (when i ran out 6 months later he charged me full price for another) 2. Having a junior employee put a deep conditioner on me for 1/2 hr and then sending me home with wet. I could do that at home! Seeing so many rave reviews has prompted me to warn others, hoping that a negative and truthful review shows up and is not taken down. It took me 2 solid yrs of babying my hair and getting trims, NEVER using a single hair appliance or heat and BARELY combing my hair. I felt ugly as hell for 2 yrs. Ladies, if youve gotten a truly awful hair service, PLEASE take the time to review and warn others! Stylists are NOT God, its okay to stand up and be honest! Taylor is fantastic at haircuts but colors and highlights? Fair warning!

This was my very first time at Logix, and my very first time colouring my hair - so I was a little apprehensive about the entire process as I've seen SO many hair disasters - but during the entire duration of my stay at Logix, I never once felt as though my needs weren't being addressed. After the balayage was complete, I actually went back to the salon the following week because I just wasn't 100% sure that I LOVED the end colour, and Tony and Mercedes ensured that I left with exactly the colour that I wanted - so you don't have to be afraid about speaking up. I have nothing but good things to say about this salon, whether it be the level of care the staff provides, the quality of services, attention to detail, depth of knowledge, and the true dedication to perfection. I was given so many recommendations on tips on how to take care of my hair, specifically improving shine and strength whether it be through techniques or products, but never felt pressured to purchase anything.They went above and beyond to ensure that I walked out of the salon loving my hair, and I'd highly recommend this salon to anyone!

It's my second time going to Cheryl now and this time I asked to do a silver color and a haircut for the first time. In the past I have never given my old hairdressers more than 30mins to do my hair because i am extremely busy with work, but for Cheryl I will give her all the time she needs to achieve what I asked for. I have black hair so it is not an easy color to get. Cheryl pays attention to detail, understands the process, mixes the color and constantly keeps an eye on the color. We had great conversations and she loves sharing her passion of hair art. It was a very friendly and relaxing experience. The time I had spent at the salon really helped me to de-stress. I finally understand what it feels like to be a celebrity having my hair nicely done and having some after photos taken. Thank you Cheryl and see you again very soon and thanks Logix Hair.

As soon as you walk into the salon you are embraced in a wave of high energy, experience, and care for the client. Everyone, even other clients all say hello with the biggest of smiles. I was really amazed, what kind of a place was this were even the other clients greet you. Before I knew it I was part of that, enjoying a comfortable setting and intellectual conversations with the staff and clients greeting others as they came in the door. As I left I couldn't stop looking at myself, who was this whole new person looking back at me? I felt like a million bucks leaving there, like I had spent all day at a spa and that extended into feeling like a power house for the rest of my day. I will never go any where else again. Thanks for everything, I have never felt so "pincha-licious" before.

I have been a return client of logix hair salon for over ten years now, I’ve done everything from hair colour, hair cuts, hair treatments and even my wedding updo and I have been extremely happy every time! Everyone there is amazing, especially Sam who I usually see. His hands are truly best. Recently we have been working to restore the strength and length of my hair and after a few trims and the amazing kerastase treatments Sam recommended my hair has never felt or looked better, I basically wear it air dried, no need for styling with hot tools anymore! The salon is welcoming and very clean and comfortable. I would recommend this place to everyone I know over and over again. Thank you to the logix team, can’t wait for my next visit.

I had a great experience with Mel! She reached out to me and made the booking process quick and easy. The appointment was on time, so I was straight in the chair when I got there. I wasn't really sure what I wanted, so she talked me through what she thought would work, showing me pictures and asking lots of questions so she was sure I'd be happy. She was very knowledgeable and took her time with me. I have long, thick hair and I'm usually made to feel guilty because of the time it takes but she made me feel at ease. She got my hair back to a healthy state and I was really happy with the results. She also took the stress out of booking my next appointment and penciled me in while I was there. Highly recommend! Can't wait to go back!

Over the last year+ I've had some meh to bad experiences. I tried out Logix and what a drastically different and amazing experience. Taylor did such a fantastic job on my cut and colour! She took the time to work with me to achieve the look I had in mind AND gave me some wonderful tips to help volumize my fine/long hair. What makes her a 'cut above' the rest is not only her capability and friendly demeanor but, her attention to detail and the techniques she used that far exceeds what I've seen before. Do yourself a favor and book with Taylor! The establishment itself was clean, nice and the people who worked there were also really friendly and welcoming.

Logix is a fantastic salon! I have lived in Calgary for 7 years and had yet to find a salon/stylist who listens to what you want as well as taking into consideration the condition of your hair. Tony and the rest of the staff have been wonderful, from being accommodating to my schedule to setting up a "plan" to get my hair where I would like it to be in a manner where we don't destroy it :) I also have purchased one of their Halo Extensions, I absolutely love it... so easy to use and I get compliments all the time. The environment is welcoming and they always want to make sure you are happy and comfortable :)

It’s so hard to find someone who cuts short hair well and confidently but my first visit to LOGIX HAIR SALON was so amazingly easy. Especially with the help of Mackenzie and Sam. They are very friendly and welcoming, didn't have to wait long to get my hair cut. They are great, cut my hair exactly the way I wanted..checked in with me throughout to ensure I was happy with what she was doing. Really good experience! They are really good at communicating with me and to achieved my hair goals. Oh and I Love this place! Such a cute set up, great concept, cool and relaxed vibe. Couldn’t recommend higher!

Had an amazing experience here! Staff was able to squeeze me in last minute right on time for my vacation. Had been box dying my hair black for months and they completely revamped my hair to beautiful bronze blonde WITHOUT destroying it. They were able to almost nearly relocate the pictures I brought, and were extremely respectful of my budget! They were not pushy on products and super friendly. I love how they all worked as a team to get the job done and will probably never let anyone else touch my hair ever again! Would highly recommend to EVERYONE!

getting my hair done in a salon as a hijabi is very challenging so I love how there is a private room and also only women on Sundays...I was struggling to have my hair the color I want for years and noone was able to do what I wanted. Finally came to serine and she was amazing. First try got exactly what I wanted. She's very professional and friendly...and gives the right recommendations. Love how healthy my hair looks now with the exact color I wanted. Highly recommend her..my overall experience 10/10 thanks to serine

Went in for a cut and colour and I could't be happier with the results and service. I came to Logix years ago when I first lived in Calgary, moved away for the last 5 years and now that I am back in town it was an easy decision to book my appointment with Logix. My first experience in Logix Hair Salon was exceptional, especially with hairdresser Cheryl. She was well educated about which hairstyle would best fit me and taught me tips on how to do my hair properly. She is very easy going and you will not be bored when talking to her. Her skill in cutting was amazing, she is so meticulous and professional, I completely trusted her and I knew that she would achieve the results I wanted. 11 out of 10 for the service.

Since moving to Calgary I didn’t have a hair stylist and tried out Logix as my boyfriend now husband always went there for 6+ years. I spoke to Tasha on the phone who got me in right away. She was awesome! She was so helpful and welcoming over the phone and actually ended up being my stylsit! I’ve always had such a great experience every time I go in to get my hair done and couldn’t be happier with my results EVERY single time :)

UPDATE: Owner reached out to apologize. This shows he cares, and wants to correct a wrong. I will return to his salon in the future! PAST REVIEW: Great hair stylist, super friendly and thorough. My only negative feedback would be the guy near the cash, who seemed to be the owner, didn't greet me or acknowledge my being there when I first arrived. He knew I was a new client to the salon. Otherwise, I would recommend this salon!

I’ve been coming to Logix for the better part of 7 years (almost solely seeing Tasha). She is always professional, has exceptional attention to detail and will always give you a straight answer with any hair care questions you might have. Her bubbly personality makes it enjoyable to come in for a haircut. If you are looking for a change or new to Calgary.. I fully recommend giving Tasha a call. You won’t be disappointed!

I highly recommend Logix Hair Salon to everyone. I had my hair straightened by Tony. It's been more than a month now and my hair has stayed the same way. I have not used a hair straightener since. Tony even recommended the hair products that best suit my hair. Not much maintenance. Tony and the rest of the staff are very professional and nice. Great customer experience! The service is really worth your money!

Taylor is amazing!! She's is so easy going, open to changing it up for me and is truly a treat to be around. In the past I've been unhappy with my hair at other locations with the other stylists being upset if I say I need something changed. Taylor is not like that at all, she's not intimidating and doesn't make you feel bad ever. I've been seeing her for over 2 years now and I won't be going anywhere else!

Sol was an amazing stylist. She spent her time making sure I was getting a cut I want, she recommended products within my budget and she was overall great. The salon is clean and well maintained, they have a variety of quality products, and as a first time client, I am glad I found someone who knows how to deal with curly hair. Overall 10/10

Serine is a young and professional hair stylist, I had a haircut with her last month, and I felt that she quickly understood my type of curly hair. I ended up having the haircut that suits my hair and face as well (Thank you Serine ). Overall, I am happy with Serine’s work and will definitely like to come to her for many more haircuts.

What can I say! Top salon in Calgary! Such welcoming staff and you can literally call them the Hair doctor! Worth every penny, and you never leave without the biggest smile on your face. I've been getting my hair done here for a little under a year now and it has been amazing! Serine is very experienced and knew exactly how to acheive the balayage blonde look I wanted for my wedding! I went in for the first time for a cut and blow dry and was very satisfied! Very clean and welcoming when you walk in the door. I had Serine as my stylist. I was in bad need of a trim and she was very good at consulting with me before the scissors came out. She was very friendly and funny too. I will be back 100%.

I had an amazing hair appointment with Mel. The results were exactly as I had expected. Mel was super friendly and recommended me products for my hair type that matched my budget. The whole staff was also extremely friendly, and you can definitely expect to walk out of the salon with exactly what you asked for!

Cheryl is amazing! She took great care in bringing my hair through the phases from brown to a stunning shaded PLATINUM BLONDE!!! Got my hair done in a private room by Tia. She coloured and did a haircut one me. She was professional and did a great job. The products she used felt amazing on my hair. Most importantly, I had great reactions from my family and friends :) feels so good. I’m glad I found this salon. Will be a regular.

Mel is the biggest sweetheart, I came in after a horrible bang cut from a lady at salon in the mall. Mel fixed me right up and offered to fix my bangs more after a few weeks of growth. Tony dyed my hair the next day and did a great job too. This is my spot and I highly recommend it for cuts and colors.

Just recently found this hidden gem and I cannot rave about it enough. Cheryl is absolutely amazing. She spent 6 long hours turning me into a Balayage Princess. I will be coming back again and again. Today I had a balayage by Chloe with the Assistance of Sophia, and oh my god!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’ve never had this much fun and felt this much comfort while getting my hair done. The staff were all so loving and welcoming, but the work done by Chloe is INSANEEEEEEELY AMAZING. She is pure talent.

Great service and stylists. Being a hijabi can be difficult when finding a place to cut my hair, however logix salon offers cuts for all women on Sunday’s which made it possible. I got my hair cut and styled by Serine. The end result was amazing and worth every penny! I’ll definitely be back

I called last minute to book an appointment later in the week and the receptionist Susu was very patient with me figuring out my schedule. She was very nice and had a positive attitude over the phone. I can’t wait to come in for my hair cut. Good customer service is the way to go.

Extremely pricey, and every balayage I have gotten has been a blunt colour change, not a transition from dark to light. Will apply masks without consulting with me or informing me of the price until the end when they give me a "discount" because I didn't know. Never coming back.

I went to Sam and let me tell you his hands are MAGIC! I got a Brazilian blowout and he did tape in extensions for me, I hardly ever have to go for a touch up. He customized a hair treatment for all my dead ends and my hair is silky smooth. I love going in to get my hair done!!

Absolutely amazing hair salon. I only trust them to take care of my hair. They always give me the brightest hair colors while preserving my hair. I went somewhere else twice in 2 years and regretted it really badly. Logix is the place to go and i can't stop recommending it.
