Dr. Comrie is truly amazing. She is amazing at her bedside manner, her answers to all manner of questions, and her knowledge. My 3 stars are for the administrative hurdles you must undertake for every visit. I have not waited a minimum of 3.5 hours before seeing the doctor. Normally the wait is around 4hrs. Which the front desk and office manager seem to not only think it's perfectly fine but they have a BIG attitude if you ask after even an hour wait about the delay. Why they can't schedule better I don't know especially in the world of telehealth. My last and final appointment which was to be at 3 pm by 7 they offered me another doctor along with the 2 pm appointments however this was done via phone call as I had just recently left. So if you don't work or want to spend your day off at the doctor with rude nurses and administrative staff then by all means make an appointment. But even that will be a struggle as they rarely answer the phones or call back unless it's an emergency. It is a shame because Dr. Comrie is truly a great doctor but no patients deserve this. On my last visit a pregnant woman started crying in the waiting room because she had been waiting 4hrs. It is a running joke amongst patients about the wait. For 7 appointments the earliest I was seen was 3.5 hrs and that was once the normal wait is 4hrs if you dare ask how long then the front desk and nurses will rudely behave, speak, and look at you as if your inability to take what amounts to a full work shift is somehow a problem you have.

I've been having bad experiences with OBGYNs and wanted to find a black doctor that was able to help me. I called and the front desk receptionist told me that there is no open appointment until May of 2021. I thanked her and tried to call back because my doctor told me to tell her it was a persistent issue I had and nobody answered the phones. When I finally reached somebody, I spoke to a man named Timothy who took down my message and was the RUDEST PERSON I HAVE EVER spoken to. He told me to not speak over him and that I gave my own name incorrectly. He cut me off, gave me complete attitude, and tried to quickly hang up the phone on me. I told him he was being rude and he didn't really seem to care. Highly dissapointed in the patient service here. Dissapointed that this horrible patient service is what I get. I have never been treated like this before in my life and it's very sad that this is the reflection that's being blown on Dr. Comrie that I never even met or spoke to. Disappointed your employees who don't know how to speak to patients with issues are who we first hear before the person who's name is on the door.

Dr. Comrie is a true earth angel. I had a very difficult high risk pregnancy. She took me on late in my pregnancy. The day after I met her I was hospitalized and she came to support me in the emergency room to make sure I received the right care and felt emotionally supported. From that time on I felt peace of mind every time I saw her. I felt that she cared for me, my child, and my family as well. I have never felt so supported by a physician. I honestly think about her every day when I reflect on giving birth to my daughter and am so grateful to her and her team it sometimes moves me to tears. Sometimes you have to wait a very long time to see her in the office, but after being cared for by her and her team I can understand why- her patients love her and she has a lot of them!

The most frustrating thing about this place is you can never get in touch with anyone at the front desk. Every single time I've called it's routed to an answering service, they then will send a message to the front desk and you have to wait for the doctor's office to call you back "whenever they can". This is extremely aggravating especially when it's an urgent matter as we know things can be when it comes to dealing with anything in the field of health. They really need to do be better with their calls and actually their front desk personnel as well! Some of them answer the phone no greeting and when you're done they simply hang up. They sound like miserable souls who hate they're job and don't want to be bothered.

I’m having the most frustrating time just trying to get to see the doctor. IF someone answers, they say they will call you back (they never do). I know it sounds crazy but I’ve been trying for months just to schedule an appointment to see Ms Comrie. I’m almost a little afraid to see her now because doctors set the the tone for office culture and I’m getting the feeling she doesn’t want to be bothered. Hopefully when and if I get an appointment I will update this review on her behalf. February 7 Update! Ok I got in. I was seen by a Dr. Michelle and she was sweet, and very considerate. She allowed me time to fill her in on everything that was worrying me and called me personally to discuss results.

Dr. Comrie is by far the BEST OB/GYN Doctor in NYC! She has been my GYN for almost 30 years! I was with her as a patient when her practice was in a trailer affiliated with LICH! Her staff is AMAZING! From the front office to her office manager! When I was pregnant with my son Dr. Comrie & her then biz partner Dr. Blanchard visited me, checked on me when I didn’t have medical insurance! During my care once I lost my insurance (WHILE PREGNANT) Dr. Comrie checked on me and stayed in touch with me!! My son is now 29 and Dr. Comrie STILL checks on me!!! DR. MILICENT COMRIE IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST DOCTOR! I thank God for her EVERYDAY!!!

Today, 9/5/17... I called and made an appointment and spoke to Ms. Jennifer and she was outstanding. She was empathetic to my situation and made me feel hopeful. Although I am not too keen on the affiliation with Mamomides hospital I was reassured and reassured from a personal friend and Ms. Jennifer that the doctors are competent, caring and are highly professional. I will follow up after my visit. Please don't get discouraged with horrible reviews. Your experience may not be someone else's experience. If I would have paid too much attention to the two other reviews that are very negative I would have neve called for my self.

The most incompetent office! Patients cannot speak to anyone at the office and may only leave a message through a messaging service. It took two days to make an appointment and I have waited for over a month and a half to see the Dr. Comrie. My appointment is scheduled for today at 3PM. I have been calling the office to confirm it, since no one called me. I left two messages with the messaging service and no one from the office has called me back. This is the most inappropriate scheduling system I have ever seen! I cannot comment on Dr. Comrie, because I am not even sure if I will be able to see her today.

The best doctor to have on your team. Dr. Comrie has delivered all three of our children (even when we moved out of town) during our high risk pregnancies. We can't say enough good things about her and the ladies at this practice. She's very knowledgeable, welcoming to questions and concerns and she makes everyone feel like they're a priority. She takes her time to make sure you understand and is comfortable every step of the pregnancy and delivery. Again, we can't say enough about Dr Comrie and her team .... I can't thank her enough, she's saved my life and our babies. AMAZING Doctor!!!

Dr. Comrie performed my Myomectomy, and she's also my OB/GYN, usually I look at doctors as just that, but Dr.Comrie is heaven sent I absolutely love her! Every single time I visit her office I leave confident and comforted, many visits she's even prayed with me. I've had other doctors tell me because of the amount of fibroids I had I would need a Hysterectomy, it was all lies! Dr. Comrie told me from the very begining she'll remove all and keep my womb in tact, and that she did for this I am very grateful!

Coming here has literally been a trash experience, every time I come I'm never able to get back in contact with my same doctor and I never receive a call back and the phones never get answered..nd wait times suk. You literally have to walk down to the office to get help because calling never works. They never give any updates. And just leave you hanging. This is why ppl rather die blissfully then go to the doctor. very disappointing .

I have been seeing Dr. Comrie since I was 11 years old and now I am in my 40+. She is nothing short of amazing and I love her dearly. She is the real deal and is an expert in her field. I currently live now in Oregon and I am going to fly home to see her for a visit because I just do not trust anyone other than Dr. Comrie; I I trust her. Love You Dr. Comrie

Dr Comrie is the best gyn anyone can ask for, she treats your body as well as your soul. I was told I would never be able to carry my own children from other doctors after suffering 2 loses. But thanks to God and Dr Comrie I now have 2 healthy children born FULL term. With no complications. She is truly blessed and a gift to all women from God.

One of the absolute BEST DOCTOR to ever live! I'm telling you Dr. COMRIE is amazing! I'm so so happy I got referred to her! She takes the best care of me! I'm recovering from my myomectomy surgery and through its a journey, I couldn't be happier with the service. I can't wait to have Dr. Comrie deliver my future babies …

Dr. Comrie was referred to me by my aunt, after I was left in excruciating pain from fibroids. The Dr. Comrie is soo professional and wonderful to work with, HOWEVER her front desk receptionist made me feel as if I was in a Jail hospital and I was guilty of a crime. She’s rude and very unprofessional.

Her office staff is very polite. They’re wonderful people, knowledgeable, and very friendly. You will see a bit of a wait time, but Dr. Comrie doesn’t disappoint. She’s a great doctor and treats her patients like family. I’m satisfied every time I leave her office!

This is the best gyn you will ever have in your life! The office is near and clean and has such friendly and helping staff members. Dr. Comrie is such a wonderful doctor and is great at what she does. I honestly love her and would recommend her to everyone.
