This is the newly opened Five and Below store in New Orleans. It just opened August 2nd. It is between TJMaxx and Ross stores. It took over the Shoe Carnival space. The other store is in Elwood. From what I could see most items are priced at $5. I saw very little for $1. The store is also set up primarily with self checkout kiosks with store personnel walking around if you get stuck on the machine or can't scan an item. If you have children, they will be happy at the volume of coloring and sticker books, toys, games, football's, basketballs, and soccer balls to choose from. There's $3 jewelry- very cheaply made necklaces, and earrings. There's a huge tech department with chargers, power banks, speakers, headphones, phone covers, holders, etc. The workout department is stocked with small hand weights, resistance bands, massagers, yoga mats, and sports bottles. Don't waste your time buying the limited clothes in the store. They are cheaply made and made to fit youth not adult sizes. The shoes fall into that same category. I was surprised to see they have a small pet section. It is stocked with a few dog clothes, leashes, collars, poop bags, and dog beds. The store has the candy section in the front of the store. Bags are available to select loose candy for 4 for $1 or 10 for a $1. Movie candy sized boxes of sour patch, butterfingers, showcase, twizzlers,etc. Are 5 for $5. Customers were constantly at this section. The store has chips and sodas if you're just stopping in to grab a snack. I can't see being a frequent customer to the store.

Stopped over at Michaels and Ulta for somethings. Michaels has all the creative things: like picture frames,fabric dye, art supplies and stuff like that. Customer service was great. Didnt really like the line thing b4 u reach either of the cashiers..seems like a recipe for disaster 2 me. But I notice all of them r like that. As for Ulta its pretty nice in there 2. Shelves stock full of beauty essentials. But b careful because alot of those products have been opened and swatched r used which is disgusting. Customer service was great. N there we go with that one line waiting on any available cashier thing again. Who ever thought of that n why? Idk. But ya they really done it up nice here with the construction and all.

The stores in magnolia marketplace or in my area and conveniently on one bus line. We lost our Nike community store and I had never gotten a chance to shop there. Their new location is a bigger area, but I still enjoy going to the other stores and they're clean and the staff is friendly. And they all follow the guidelines of mask upon entering.

Convenient location as well as stores. Tjmaxx is always great and never have a problem killing time there. Looking for something for your pets they have both petsmart as well as tjmaxx. Parking is a little limited for the size of stores so at times does take a few mins to find a spot.

I love this strip. Anytime you have a TJ Max, a Ross, pet Smart and Michael's it's a win win. So many options and variety makes this local stip a must. It doesn't hurt that there are several places to grab a quick bite or coffe just outside of this strip.

Ross is the best store here the other ones never have any sales or either have older yacht like clothes near the projects. Their aren't any yatch parties in my neighborhood. the clothes should fit the urban area you're in. Tjmaxx too high and boring!!

One of the few shopping centers I've found in New Orleans. I go there for Michael's, but they also have PetSmart, TJ Maxx, Ross, a discount shoe store, cosmetics store, Cane's, McDonald's and Taco Bell. There is a parking lot, too.

Lots of stores and often hard to find a place to park. Was there during holiday season and Ross' looked like a cyclone hit it . Not very comfortable shopping. I have been in that mall at other times and it's never really great.

The market place visit was relaxing, I went there with my oldest sister,she wanted a simple blouse for our family reunion which was coming up. We went there to visit TJ Max and wound up going to 3 different stores...go figure.

Love the stores that are here. Petsmart always has great deals going on. TJ Max is really nice and well stocked. Also Ross is always stocked. Can't think of anything bad about them. Always friendly service too.

I went to Ulta and all the perfume was empty some samples were out but locked up. The sales person stopped helping me to help someone else who felt their needs were more urgent. Bad experience all around.

I love to shop at Ross! When I lived in Slidell used to visit at least 2days a week. This Ross store has wonderful employees and the bargains are unbelievable. I am a senior so I look forward to Tuesdays!

Lots of little shops in here and restaurants. Plenty of parking and there are several hotels close by. We ate at the Mexican restaurant and it was delicious. The shrimp and bacon pizza was awesome

Dope place to find some great gifts. It's a bit repetitive but great, nonetheless. Also, if you're tired, there are great massage places close by. Finally, you can bargain with the merchants.

Two shopping stores: TJ Maxx and Ross and that's it. A Michael's if your into arts and crafts with Taco Bell and McDonalds if you get hungry and Shoe carnival if your feet start hurting. Lol

If your looking for somewhat trendy apparel at a bargain price then you have come to the right place. I wasn't likely you'll find the last season's apparel and discount and bargain prices.

For all of your magnolia needs! Big ones, really big ones. Small ones, really small ones. Ask for Becca, she doesn't work there but check to see, who knows maybe one day she will.

Whenever I have the money to go I always hit up Michaels and Raising Canes. Both places can get pretty expensive though so it's not very often I end up stopping by.

I love many stores on this market row. It's a cool place to pick up a few deals, and the atmosphere in these stores is normally not stressful like some malls.

Nice place, but make sure to keep your things close and your doors locked. A lot of people wandering around begging for money or asking for rides.

I only go to the pet store and Michaels and have no issue with those stores. But the parking lot of this strip mall is truly a nightmare.

It has a few good stores like Ross. It has gone a long way to start gentrifying the area by bringing stores close to the local consumers.

Today was a lovely experience at Magnolia Marketplace. There was beautiful weather outside and lovely finds inside.
