Hotel di lusso situato in una zona residenziale della città molto tranquilla ma non troppo lontano dal centro il quale si può raggiungere a piedi con una bella passeggiata di una ventina di minuti circa ma se non si vuole camminare, a poche decine di metri dall’ingresso si trova la fermata del bus 35 che in pochi minuti porta in centro. Non ho dato il punteggio massimo in quanto la camera che ci è stata assegnata al 5° piano non corrispondeva a quella che avevamo prenotato vedendo la descrizione sul sito dell’hotel. La camera che ci hanno destinato era di dimensioni abbastanza piccole e dotata di un secondo bagno per disabili (che non abbiamo richiesto) il quale rubava spazio alla camera stessa inoltre, contrariamente a quanto riportato sul sito web, non si affacciava sulla strada ma su un angusto cortile interno. Dovendoci passare una sola notte non abbiamo voluto segnalare il problema alla reception ma, se avessi dovuto soggiornare più notti, avrei chiesto di cambiarcela. La camera era arredata in modo molto sobrio, con un letto matrimoniale largo e comodo con tre cuscini a testa di diverse grandezze e consistenza, servizio frigo-bar ben fornito e 2 bottigliette di acqua fornite gratuitamente, macchina per caffè espresso Lavazza con le relative cialde, bollitore elettrico con bustine di caffè solubile, the e infusi. Abbiamo apprezzato un servizio abbastanza particolare: Mentre noi eravamo assenti per la cena la cameriera ci ha preparato la camera per la notte sistemando il letto e abbassando le tende oscuranti dopo di che, ha lasciato un ottimo cioccolatino su ciascun comodino. Nulla da ridire sul bagno “normale” che era abbastanza ampio e dotato sia di vasca da bagno che di doccia ed era fornito oltre che da un discreto numero di asciugamani, anche di 2 accappatoi, di ciabattine di spugna oltre ai vari distributori di sapone, shampoo, balsamo, crema per le mani e per il corpo. La pulizia sia della camera che del bagno era ineccepibile. Il servizio di colazione prevedeva che le bevande calde preparate dal bar venissero servite al tavolo mentre tutto il resto era presentato in un buffet abbastanza fornito sia di dolci che di pietanze per una colazione internazionale ma in altri hotel di questa categoria ho visto fare di meglio. Un ringraziamento va al personale con il quale siamo stati in contatto che è stato estremamente gentile e premuroso ed ha soddisfatto le nostre richieste. A partire dalla ragazza in servizio presso la reception al nostro arrivo la quale, dopo essersi informata sul motivo della nostra visita a Genova, si è premurata di indicarci quelli che secondo lei erano i punti più importanti della città da visitare fornendoci una cartina sulla quale ha riportato la loro posizione nonché il modo per raggiungerli. Un bel hotel all’altezza della sua categoria ma con qualche particolare ancora da mettere a punto.

Pulizia e cortesia assicurati. Ambiente bello e raffinato.. Personale cortese e preparato: C'era stato un disguido con la colazione( molto cara e nemmeno troppo abbondante)e non c'era stato detto il primo giorno che non era inclusa nel costo della camera; la receptionist con cui ho effettuato il checkout, Valentina, mi ha chiesto se era andato tutto bene. Alla mia risposta negativa, in cui le ho riferito l'accaduto, si è scusata, adducendo un errore tecnico e quindi non incolpando nessun altro e ha depennato il costo della colazione per due dal conto. Un piccolo gesto, ma significativo che ci ha fatto ripartire con il sorriso. Brava Valentina

Leggermente decentrato, in una delle zone più tranquille e belle di Genova, la collina di Carignano, è comunque in una posizione ottima per raggiungere il centro in diversi punti, a piedi oppure in bus. Scendendo poche scalette si raggiunge in breve la stazione Brignole oppure col 35 Principe. Dal centro molti bus conducono a posti belli come Nervi e altre località amene del Levante ligure si possono facilmente raggiungere in treno

Area relax con acqua piscina fredda anziché 32 gradi come assicurato, la responsabile ha confutato che l’acqua non fosse come previsto, atteggiamento certamente inadeguato, il bagno turco non funzionava, abbiamo dovuto attendere più di 1 ora affinché provvedessero e nel frattempo ci viene gentilmente offerto un aperitivo al bar che non abbiamo potuto goderci poiché appena seduti una donna del personale la signora Francesca,viene a puntualizzare che non potevamo stare lì in accappatoio per decoro ma saremo dovuti andare in camera e ci avrebbero portato quanto ordinato, incredibilmente poco professionale ed offensivo dopo aver creato loro stessi un disagio per poca attenzione manutentiva alla SPA, come si permettono di riprendere i clienti anziché essere ancora più accomodanti. Al check out la responsabile Francesca è stata oltremodo fuori luogo continuando a polemizzare in maniera aggressiva sull’accaduto mettendendoci in una condizione di grande disagio.Assolutamente inaccettabile, pessimo. Colazione: buono il salato, cornetti pessimi, secchi e gommosi. In stanza: tende con attaccati capelli, ed una lampada abbozzata che non si addice ad un hotel 5 stelle.

Spa reserved as proposed, we were delighted to be able to relax, but we were quickly disillusioned when we saw the children. They were shouting and jumping into the water although they were forbidden!..and when we come down we had no place to put down our things, the 5 deckchairs were occupied...so please tell us how we could be abble to enjoy this moment. After which we ask for another reservation whithout children...and that was'nt possible. In 5 days no slot available without family...thank you for this disastrous performance! Reserving an extra 5 star hotel with spa-wellness and having such a bad experience is very disappointing! Sorry but a spa is a place to relax and not a children's pool! For the rest the services are up to a 5 star in italy. The reception and room service is excellent! The service of the restaurant is not of high quality but dishes are very good!

Siamo da anni clienti del Melia di Genova, elegante hotel, a pochi minuti a piedi dal centro. Per i nostri soggiorni, prenotiamo spesso una junior suite con terrazza o la grand suite, sempre con terrazza. Ci é capitato, con minor frequenza, di utilizzare anche la supreme con terrazza o la junior suite classica, comunque confortevoli. In questi giorni passati, per un'occasione speciale, abbiamo prenotato la 'suite presidenziale con terrazza'. Esperienzia fantastica. Solo per citare alcuni aspetti: grande camera, ampio soggiorno, elegante studio, capiente bagno con vasca idromassaggio, doccia con bagno turco, cabina armadio etc. Da tutte le stanze si accede poi alla terrazza, con grande vasca idromassaggio, vista mare. Possibilità di cenare in hotel in un'atmosfera rilassante e cordiale, colazione a buffet con notevole varietà di scelta. E, ancora, una nota di merito al personale: addetti alla reception, camerieri di sala e cameriere ai piani. Insomma, nel tempo, il Melia si conferma un'eccellenza!

Winter stay (Xmas holiday), classic room category, visited as a couple. Remains a very solid product, but the interiors are dated. Price/quality is therefore not great if compared to other Melia hotels. POSITIVE: - personnel is extremely helpful, professional and solution-oriented (bravi!) - location is easily reachable from highways, and very close to the Historic City Centre (10-20’ walk from all main attractions) - service is good and adequately flexible (room service until 10pm & early in the morning, tone down service, swift cleaning..) - COVID safety rules are applied carefully, which is good and important IMPROVEMENTS: - furniture and rooms of this 5* are too dated and need an urgent refresh (scraps on bedside tables, some stains on walls, torn curtains…) - rooms smell stuffy, despite regular cleaning, because they are old - lower floors rooms (1-3) facing south/west get the noise of the trash cans being emptied in the morning - price was probably too high, at this moment, in light of both the aging facilities/rooms and the low demand due to the Covid surge in Italy

arrivato in camera apro la porta e vedo per terra una brandina pieghevole con materassino di gommapiuma che non userei nemmeno in campeggio, chiedo spiegazioni alla reception e dopo avere parlato col responsabile, questi mi propone un upgrade di camere con 3 letti veri aggiungendo 50 euro , ma come ? ho pagato 600 euro x due notti e in hotel a 5 stelle per avere un letto vero devo aggiungere 50 euro??? tristissima proposta della direzione, giustificata dal fatto che questa brandina doveva essere per la bambina, ma scusami bene la bambina a casa ha un materasso da 2000 euro perche dovrebbe dormire in una branda dopo che ho prenotato per 3 persone e pagato per tale. la direzione non è all'altezza di gestire le criticità, altra cosa invece il personale di reception, bravi, pronti e disponibili. se volevo una brandina andavo in uno ostello. al mio ritorno in hotel mi era stato cambiato rete e materasso a conferma che la mia lamentela era corretta. lo consiglio per la posizione ma chiedete conferma sulla branda !!!!

The hotel is nice but i feel like it should be more of an 4 - 4.5 star hotel. the room decor is nice, but is getting a bit dated as can be seen visually. Due to Covid rules you have to make a reservation for the gym and for the pool and the pool has very limited hours in my opinion (there is no life guard on duty so why limit the hours of use?) so unfortunately I did not have the opportunity to use it. The restaurant has a decent selection, but not great, but that being said the food was very delicious! There are many great food options and attractions within walking distance as well. Be careful of room service, I ended up paying 14 euro for a 4 euro hot tea bc of the service charge. Also parking seemed a challenge to me so I ended up paying for valet parking four days at 35 euro a day. The free WiFi was nice and fast! Temperature control in the room was good. The staff was friendly and courteous enough. Overall, the hotel was nice, but nothing too exiciting, however the location was perfect for my needs and I would probably stay here again if need be.

Excellent service and amenities, and fantastic location. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and rooms are incredibly spacious for Italian standards. Our room came with an additional wheelchair accessible bathroom complete with handle bars and a shower seat. The bathroom mirror also came with a TV in it which was a real treat. The pool is also very enjoyable despite its small size - it doubles as a jacuzzi at all corners as well. Some improvements could certainly be made . Our room was booked for two but some amenities came in singles e.g. bathrobe and slippers , and there was no hairdryer as advertised - nevertheless housekeeping staff were quick to accede to requests. Despite the 12 degrees C temperature outside , the windows open and the thermostat set to the absolute minimum on a cool setting in the middle of February, we still found it far too warm to fall asleep. The windows opened also into an enclosed airwell which transmitted sounds from downstairs so it did get quite noisy with the windows open. Overall still highly recommended.

When we first arrived at the hotel, we were greeted by a rather rude older gentleman who got offended when I asked about street parking as he was trying to get us to do valet...it was inappropriate of him to make us feel guilty for asking for options since valet cost 36 euros a night! The room he gave us on the first floor was much smaller than the photos and we were woken up by the sound of dump trucks and motorcycles at 6am so we were originally quite disappointed. Thankfully, our experience only got better from there as the rest of the staff were super friendly, the breakfast was amazing and motivated us to get up early in the morning (and the seating area was very comfortable), and we loved the heated swimming pool in the basement. It's a wonderful hotel with a great location and we would come back again (and make sure we avoid that older gentleman, haha....and get a room on a higher floor.)

Pretty standard chain hotel. Everything is (predictably) fine except for a couple of small details that leave a bittersweet taste. The parking isn’t free but you must pay an additional 36€ per day. At checkout I found out that I had to pay for the *mandatory* swimming pool cap, cmon this is really cheap of you, Melia. Also I didn’t receive a very professional treatment at the pool, the staff insinuated I wanted to get around covid regulations by trying to get into the pool area without registration (when in fact I had registered but for some reason they had lost the information). Btw the bathrobe was so worn out it was falling to pieces. Ah, avoid the restaurant; at lunch and dinner it serves very bland, uninteresting food for very high prices. And the covid-breakfast buffet is a joke, with just one staff picking stuff for you, creating long annoying queues.

I’m not an easy grader when it comes to hotels and restaurants, because it’s hard to be perfect. I found this hotel to almost be there without all the unnecessary fancy things, like a doorman. Good gym. Good location. Clean, quiet, large rooms. The blackout shades keep the morning sun out so you can wake up when you want to. Bathroom is excellent and well equipped. I want the bath towels for my house! Front desk staff is friendly & helpful. Buffet breakfast is comprehensive for Europe (my room rate includes breakfast.) Two quibbles. The eggs on the buffet made me want to vomit just looking at them. I asked if they could make some eggs that are cooked more, and they just brought me more of the same wet eggs. Also, the pancakes on the buffet are cold. Second, the hair dryer is the type where you have to hold the button for it to work. No bueno.

In occasione della fiera nautica abbiamo prenotato tre camere in questo hotel. Devo dire che ci siamo trovati tutti molto bene. Personale dell’hotel è stato veramente eccellente nella gestione delle nostre esigenze .Servizio di parcheggio per le nostre auto , immediata la navetta privata da noi richiesta per la fiera . Sono riusciti veramente di accontentarci in ogni fase del nostro soggiorno . Colazione con ottimo buffet , cappuccino perfetto !meravigliosi dolci in camera e ci hanno sorpreso anche con un piccolo regalo . Una sera abbiamo anche cenato presso ristorante dell’hotel, Ci ha asservito direttore di sala veramente competente e nostri bambini hanno mangiato una pizza squisita!

Located walking distance to the historic center but in a residential neighborhood this charming hotel features excellent service. The modern furnishings make the property very comfortable for business and liesure. The valet and porters are fast and friendly. The property is welcoming and warm for children and pets. The spa is a nice place to disconnect and relax for a while. We did not have a chance to use the bar or restaurants but given our experience we would return. Concierge was very helpful.

Excellent hotel!! Loved our stay here in every way! Great service, wonderful comfortable rooms with a very comfortable bed, crisp sheets and cozy pillows! Robes & slippers were provided and the shower was great. The breakfast buffet included in the room rate was extensive and included eggs and so much more! They were even nice enough to make us vegetable omelettes upon request! The hotel was located perfectly for cafes and shopping areas and the old port! The hotel staff helped us with restaurant recommendations & dinner reservations, and were extremely helpful with everything else! I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

The room was very nice and we got a second chair to the room so that we could sit and have a glas of wine together in the evening. There were a number of small hiccups that slightly lowered the experience however. The shower handle broke, we had to wait 20 min extra after our reserved time to access the spa since the staff was nowhere to be found, and we phoned the main desk several times. Then I also had cold water only when showering on our last day. It may sound bad but the spa was nicer than most hotels that have a small spa included. And we had an great time there. If we ever come back we wouldn't dismiss it as an option.

Not exactly in city centre but it's a nice area and it's not far from centre. Some shops and cafe on the same street. Rooms are great, good facilities, including a coffee machine in the room. Breakfast is £20 per person- we're not that keen on hotel breakfast so chose to eat out instead and there are local bakeries and cafes where you can get good quality coffee and focaccia (must try!). Only one lift was working during our stay which wasn't too much of a deal as I think the hotel was not that busy but could be an issue if fully booked.

Nice hotel in a good location. The environment is very local and not touristy. It is only a few steps to the Ponte Monumental from where you can quickly get to the tourist centre of the city. We expected the rooms to be a bit better due to a 5-star rating. Especially the bathroom. On the negative side, the prices for additional services are worth mentioning. Breakfast costs €25 per person. In the minibar as well as in the hotel bar, the costs for water and beer are very high. I have found this to be much fairer in other hotels. I find this classic 5-star surcharge customer-unfriendly and not in line with the offer. We preferred to go to the bar opposite or to the supermarket around the corner.

This hotel is in the perfect location. The staff was amazing. The restaurant was terrific I don't understand why it's not packed every night... But I'm glad they always had room for us. Breakfast every morning was terrific. The concierge and the front desk people were happy to advise us and direct us on where to go and what to see. This hotel made my vacation perfect. Housekeeping was there everyday with fresh towels and chocolates at bedtime, coffee in the room hot tea in the room, beverages in the room, bottled water everyday.... What else could you ask for? They already thought of it !!!!

This hotel is beautiful. We were lucky enough to be slightly upgraded to a better room on arrival and we were really impressed with the room. Great little view into the local streets, no traffic noise and super clean. There is a shop nearby for food and drinks which is handy as the room service is pretty pricey. Saying that, the room service pizza was excellent. Convenient location to access the motor ways if your passing through. The facilities were perfect including the underground pool which was peaceful and relaxing. Would not hesitate in staying again. Parking was also quite expensive however I guess you get that with limited spaces.

Ottima struttura in zona abbastanza centrale. Personale cortese e disponibile. Molta attenzione alle misure anti Covid in tutte le zone comuni. Camera confortevole con un bel bagno completo di vasca e grande doccia. Unica osservazione negativa: un po' fastidioso il rumore, durante la notte, dell'aria climatizzata. Gradito il trovare all'arrivo una mezza bottiglia di acqua minerale per persona, però essendo un hotel a cinque stelle, questo plus dovrebbe essere esteso ad ogni giorno di permanenza oltre magari alla possibilità di qualche cialda di caffè gratuita da utilizzare durante la giornata. Valutazione comunque senz'altro positiva.

We had a small issue on our first night with loud music coming from an event on the ground floor. However, the receptionist was happy to let them lower the volume and gave us a compensation the next day. Such amazing service! The deluxe rooms are spacious with a cold air conditioning system. The shampoo and conditioner provided smelled really amazing! The mattress is comfortable and the rooms are clean. I cannot name one thing negative about the hotel. I would like to stay over again if I came by Genova in the future.

Overall the staff are very welcoming and attentive - both reception and breakfast area. However, the property itself is giving a Four Points by Sheraton dated vibe. It may have once been 5-star in the 90s or 00s but current aesthetic is dated and doesn’t match that. Hallways were dark, with dark carpeting. The room keys kept malfunctioning if you leave the other in the room. The room looked dated with a malfunctioning hot/humid AC (despite the team trying to fix it). There also weren’t enough towels - example face towels etc as you’d expect in the bathroom. Property and rooms will need updates before I consider coming here again.

Bello e lussuoso, camere belle e ben curate, servizio buono. Saponi liquidi inseriti nel bagno. Trovate un cartello che vi dice che se volete altro basta chiamare un numero. C è persino un televisore(10pollici), nello specchio del bagno. Colazione buona ma apre un po' tardi alle 7.00, prima c è un angolino ove prendere una cosa al volo. WiFi gratuito, parcheggio. Pagamento. Palestra con una decina di attrezzi relativamente nuovi e ben tenuti, piscina non immensa con una parete ove scende anche l' acqua, sauna, bagno turco. Reception buona. Insomma struttura completa, che secondo me non vale il prezzo. Comunque niente male.

Absolutely superb hotel. Cannot wait to come back to Genoa so that we can stay here again. Lovely rooms very spacious, on a quiet street. well located no more than a 15-20 minute walk from most attractions and all taxi drivers know where this hotel is so theres not issue with a language barrier. Across the street is a quaint little pizza shop with the BEST tiramisu we had tried in our week there. The staff is helpful and accommodating. Breakfast in the hotel is delicious, wide ranging and fresh coffee is made for you by the barista on the spot. Definately deserving of the 5 stars, and we will be staying here agin.

Ottimo Hotel nei pressi del centro, facilissimo da raggiungere, in posizione leggermente rialzata permette di arrivare a piedi nei maggiori luoghi di interesse della città. Le camere sono ampie e dotate di tutti i comfort, la SPA e la palestra garantiscono un soggiorno piacevole e permettono di godersi a pieno il relax. Il servizio è puntuale e premuroso, ottima la colazione con angolo di prodotti tipici. Un grazie a Francesca per la gentilezza. Consigliato!

We loved this hotel in a quiet neighborhood just up the hill. It was a quick walk into town (sub 10 mins) but the neighborhood felt more local and not touristic - just around the corner from a grocery store which was helpful as well. We loved the blackout shades and because it was quiet we slept wonderfully. The best was the front desk staff — specifically Gianluca! — who provided wonderful recommendations and vetted what restaurant research I had done. We had a wonderful three days in town and a big portion was because of his help. I’d say this is a hidden gem in Genova and definitely recommend.

Just stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during my honeymoon. The staff was super friendly and nice! Hotel is GORGEOUS! The room service was immaculate! Anytime we left they would come and clean. They even leave the little chocolates by your pillow. The hotel restaurant also had amazing food as well. It was around a 15/20mins the walk to the King of Italy House + Museum for anyone taking that tour. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Premesso che dovremo utilizzare la struttura alberghiera per un incontro celebrativo del superamento di uno dei corsi dell'Accademia più famosa d'Italia. Abbiamo avuto modo di vedere e paragonare quindi scegliere. Struttura ottima in tutto. Personale ad ogni livello cortesemente competente. Visto le camere constatato la qualità è il fatto che di rumori fastidiosi nessuno in compenso bellissima vista di Genova. Il livello giustifica i prezzi. Considerando un po' tutti gli Hotel di Genova e riflettendo su comodità qualità prezzi..Sicuramente Molto consigliato Consigliato Grazie

A great stay in Genova. The staff was so helpful with places to go and with our transfer leaving. We even needed boarding passes printed for our flight out in the morning which was no problem at all. The facilities were great with a gym and small pool as well as a trendy bar off the lobby. The room was spacious with a good size bathroom. Full bath and separate shower with a tv in the mirror that came in handy not missing any news of the day while getting ready. A 9 min walk to shopping and good restaurants it was very convenient. I would definitely stay again!

Oltre alla bellezza e alla pulizia della struttura - su cui non avevo dubbi - mi hanno colpito la professionalità, l'accoglienza e l'estrema gentilezza dello staff, sempre sorridente e che ci ha fatto sentire davvero come a casa. Questo avviene solo quando l'ambiente di lavoro è positivo. Si vede distintamente che Melià è un'azienda che tiene molto al proprio personale e che investe nella qualità del suo clima aziendale, complimenti

I really should not recommend this hotel, for then it will only become more popular and less available But seriously: it’s a great place in a great neighbourhood. Far enough to be outside the tourist area, close enough to being able to walk there. Couple of nice restaurants across the road too. The rooms are OK - not overly big, but very well laid out. Great indoor pool, where, thanks to a counter stream pump, you can even swim in the spot for quite some time. Good breakfast with the best scrambled eggs I had outside my own kitchen.

we stayed here for a week during our holiday in Italy, the hotel is fantastic in location wise but unprofessional in some areas like the swimming pool and the facilities opening hours also their maintenance. they pay attention to details until a certain level what you would expect from a 5 star hotel, however definitely not an exceptional from the many. thanks to Paco who always smiling and positive and special thanks to Gabriele who looked after us during our week stay, ask him and old fashioned if you get to the bar and get surprised!

We travelled as a couple with a dog. Check in went smoothly and they gave us some tips and recommendations in the area. The room is extremely spacious and our pup got a nice bed and water and food bowl prepared for her. Our entire stay was uncomplicated and everything ran smoothly. Only minus point is the gym had no AC or Fan so it was extremely humid for a workout. All in all a very pleasant stay in Genova. Thank you again for your friendly service.

Ho frequentato l'hotel per partecipare ad un corso di aggiornamento, non vi ho dormito... l'hotel è un 5 stelle, uno dei più eleganti ed esclusivi di Genova. La sala che ci è stata assegnata era adeguata e funzionale. La cena che è seguita del tutto insufficiente. Pansotti con prescinseua che erano pasta ripena industriale, niente a che vedere con i nostri pansotti artigianali, con panna lievemente acida, un tortino di nocciole praticamente immangiabile tanto era secco e asciutto. Insomma credo si possa fare di più

Hotel consigliatissimo ! Weekend a Genova e prenotiamo in questo FAVOLOSO hotel, Molto professionale il personale è molto gentili che cercano veramente di soddisfare tutte le richieste ! Camere bellissime e curate nei dettagli veramente impeccabili ! Abbiamo usato anche la SPA che si trova al piano -1 e che cosa dirvi un angolo di paradiso ❤️ Essendo un weekend un po’ particolare per noi avevo fatto alcune richieste particolari tutte esaudite nel migliore dei modi ! Torneremo sicuramente e lo consigliamo !!!

Una piacevole conferma! Da sempre utilizzato dal mio studio per convegni e feste, alla riapertura dei piccoli eventi privati, fa piacere rinnovare la stima di uno degli hotel più belli di Genova. Sito nel centro di Genova, in zona comoda, ma riservata. Organizzazione perfetta, cibo ottimo ed accoglienza impeccabile. Sempre pronti a venire incontro alle esigenze della clientela. Great experience! I asked for a nice room in my booking request because my partner had a birthday. They prepared the room with a nice welcome surprise of wine bottle and assortment of pastries! During the stay, the staff was very considerate, for example when we came back from the dinner the window blinds were closed so we could sleep calmly. The staff really pays great attention to the hotel guests. And the breakfast was really great with a wide range of choices. Thank you very much!

Hotel molto bello e pulito. Camera e bagno spaziosa (avevamo una junior suite) con una comoda cabina armadio. Personale gentilissimo, attento e disponibile. Colazione adeguata al livello dell'hotel. Ottimo ristorante. Unica nota negativa: l'aria condizionata nella zona hall/reception troppo troppo forte, lo sbalzo termico entrando era notevole. Anche nel ristorante era un pò fortina, ma non al livello di quella della hall.

Ho prenotato una camera Melia come da foto sul sito dell'hotel ma mi è stata assegna una camera molto più piccola con vista nel cortile e muro di fronte che non era affatto quella che ho prenotato come da foto. Peccato perché era un regalo. Per il resto tutto bene sia la pulizia che il personale molto gentile e disponibile.

Tutto meno che un 5 stelle... Cominciamo dalle poche cose positive: il personale, professionale e cortese, simpatico ed empatico. Altro fattore positivo la colazione. Davvero ottima. Il resto è qualità mediocre con prezzi sproporzionati. Cena con scarsa scelta (tra cui il minestrone....). Trofie al pesto buone ma troppo cotte... Stanza con spazi non da 5stelle. Parcheggio costosissimo (26 euro) in una porzione di parcheggio a ore con spazi strettissimi tra pilastri enormi.

Merita la fama che ha. Ci sono stati un paio di mesi fa per una formazione che abbiamo fatto nelle loro sale meeting. Servizio a dir poco impeccabile! Tutto organizzato alla perfezione con molta professionalità. Le camere dove hanno dormito i colleghi erano veramente ottime. La zona è molto bella e tranquilla.

Fantastic hotel with comfortable beds. This is definitely a business hotel, but it has some great touches for travelers. Dinner and breakfast were wonderful and did not disappoint. The restaurant manager was extremely patient with our lack of Italian and took the time to explain every dish in exquisite detail. Even though they were out of a couple items because we arrived so late they really took care of us and added some extras in because they were out of some things.

First of all who gives this hotel 5 stars. They should feel lucky if I give them 3. Because there is no coffie or tea in the room. There is nothing in the mini bar. The whole room look like there is nothing happend since the last 30 years. In the reservation they said that there will be a parking area but when u come they say that the parking is full. So all an all this was my worst experiance in a so called 5 star hotel. It was my first stay and never again...bah

Great Melia hotel, right in one of the most prestigious districts in the city. 5 minutes by walk to the city center, 10 minutes to the beaches of Corso Italia, the genoan "promenade", the hotel is clean, rooms are good with everything you need. Concierge is nice and makes you feel really welcome. Also, taxis are just in front of the hotel so that's absolutely an adding value to the overall experience.

Purtroppo non posso dare 5 stelle ... ho trovato il servizio molto approssimativo ( camicia al servizio tintoria riconsegnata macchiata ) camera con mobilio alquanto antiquato e privo di alcuni comfort e benefit che dovrebbe avere un 5 stelle: ad es docciaschiuma terminato, kit igiene orale mancante, la finestra che non si apriva, nessuna penna per scrivere. Spero di poter tornare presto e trovare una situazione migliore, all'altezza di un 5 stelle!

La camera e' come al solito perfetta (questa e' la mia terza volta al Melia di Genova) ma ho trovato strano non avere nessuno spazzolino da denti, cuffietta per la doccia e le solite cose che ci si aspetta da un albergo di questo livello. Il set tooth brush mi e' stato consegnato alla reception dopo mia richiesta. Poi la mattina non avevo acqua calda (stanza 312).

Hotel 5 stelle nel centro di Genova! Dotato di camere molto ampie e bagni spaziosi, tutto ben curato e pulito. E’ dotato di una bella palestra, centro SPA con bagno turco molto spazioso, docce emozionali e una bella piscina riscaldata. Il ristorante molto carino con rapporto qualità prezzo molto alto: porzioni molto ridotte. Colazione ottima con molta scelta: uno dei bacon più buoni che abbia mai assaggiato. Perdonale cordiale e disponibile.

Non solo un posto sicuro da consigliare a chi vuole soggiornare a Genova, ma anche una bella realtà per i residenti in cerca di un momento di relax veramente a 5 stelle. Personale professionale e competente , camere curate nel dettaglio , così come l’ambiente e l’atmosfera. Continuo a pensare che sia una garanzia. Bravi!

Come 4 stelle può andare, sinceramente le 5 stelle sono troppe, per il ristorante mi sarei aspettato una qualità migliore, i prezzi per la birra menabrea sono eccessivi 8 € una bottiglia da 33 cl, l'acqua poi un esagerazione, una bottiglia da litro di acqua del sindaco trattata 3€. Parcheggio inesistente per clienti, bisogna fare circa 50/100 metri per andare al parcheggio a pagamento Credo che le 5 stelle siano eccessive così come i costi

Hotel davvero impeccabile. Il personale ci ha accolto dopo aver avuto una brutta esperienza in un altro beb. Riferendo di essere in luna di miele in camera ci hanno deliziato con spumante e una portata di frutta biscotti e cioccolato. Nessuna nota negativa anzi ci ritorneremo sicuramente. Excellent! Struttura veramente molto buona. Merita le mie 5 stelle piene proprio come Hotel. Camera silenziosa, fresca e funzionale in tutti gli aspetti. Ho avuto una piccola difficoltà con la cassaforte prontamente si sono attivati. Ho trovato educazione, disponibilità e attenzione al dettaglio. Probabilmente potrei consigliare all' Hotel di ampliare il menù del ristorante. Tornerò in visita.

The Meliá provide excellent accommodation. Stayed here during our travelling in Genoa made our lives much easier. They are very clean and spacious, ideal if you’re staying for a few days. The bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast room was very busy, and the breakfast was good. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again.

Posizione centrale, architettura molto curata e in armonia con il paesaggio circostante , camera spaziosa e ben arredata, letto grande e comodo, bagno bello anche se con qualche manutenzione da fare. Personale disponibile e professionale. Unica pecca è stato il pagamento di 10€ per due bottigliette d'acqua minerale prese dal frigobar in camera, davvero non ammissibile.....

Unique hotel in a lovely city. Rooms are great, decoration is exquisite and it is a must to lunch/dinner at the restaurant! One of the best buffets I ever tried! Staff is unbeatable and Paco the best! Definitely this is one of best hotel I have ever stayed in.. should be a 10 stars.

Siamo stati molto bene in questo hotel. La posizione è buona, il personale è organizzato, molto cortese e disponibile. C’è una piccola piscina coperta, ben riscaldata in inverno. La nostra camera era pulita, spaziosa e rinnovata da poco (tv molto grande, con Sky). E poi c’è la tv nello specchio del bagno. Buona la colazione. Da ritornarci.

Arredi dallo Stile contemporaneo un po' "milanese" che poco si addice a Genova. Ottimo servizio e buon cibo. Spa e piscina molto comode. Prezzi da 5 stelle.

This is not a 5 star hotel! It has poor service, a disgusting pool and spa. The rooms are super old and the view is a joke. The room services always comes with 10 euro extra costs called “service costs”. Its terrible and all the views on Google and tripadvisor are placed by their own company!! Do not book this room!!

The room was spacious. The bathroom water pressure was amazing to take a cool shower after a busy day. However the breakfast was not as per five star hotel standards. The reception staff were really helpful but some of the restaurant staff were not polite. I would treat this a four star rather than a five star hotel

Central but quiet location. Small gym with nice pool and steam room. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds, big bright windows and great shower. Helpful and friendly staff. I'll be back!

the noise of chairs be moved in the room above my room , every night until 1am or starting at 5am, no sleep all week! the chairs weigh 30kg each and are on a wooden floor. service was excellent and food was good

Abbiamo pernottato il 7 ottobre in questa splendida struttura nel cuore di Genova: Servizi all'altezza di così tante stelle(5), personale preparato, pulizia totale, camere bellissime ed eleganti in un tripudio di preziosi marmi, ottime finiture, e ricerca del dettaglio. Torneremo presto.

Very clean room, but no complimentary water in a five star hotel is below expectations. Also the sink in the bathroom was not working properly. On the plus side they use refillable soaps from Rituals to reduce plastic waste. Overall the hotel feels quite dark on the inside and outside.

Hotel molto curato, con arredamento moderno e finiture di pregio. Buffet colazione molto completo. Situato a Carignano, quartiere residenziale e tranquillo, ma vicinissimo al centro. Piazza de Ferrari si raggiunge a piedi in 10 min percorrendo la bellissima salita di San Leonardo

L'hotel è incantevole e in una posizione molto comoda. La colazione è all'altezza delle 5 stelle e il personale è stato sempre cordiale. Peccato soltanto per il caldo infernale nella stanza.

I am very fond of this hotel. The look of this property is exquisite! It is extremely comfortable and stylish. The entire staff proved to be warm and accommodating. It is good to see collective pride in wonderful customer service, even when there are language barriers.

Hotel genovese che è spesso la "sede" delle squadre ospiti di calcio durante il campionato... non ho visto le stanze, ma, i saloni dove si svolgono vari eventi, posto bello, con camerieri attenti e gentili, servizio ottimo, dovrei farci una notte per giudicare l'hotel.

Sono diversi anni che alloggio li nel mese di dicembre. Le camere soni confortevoli e il personale molto gentile. Torno sempre con piacere. Il fabbricato di epoca fascista è meraviglioso, originariamente era la sede dell'ILVA. Architettonicamente è molto interessante.

Perfect in all areas. Comfortable, welcoming contemporary accommodations. Great as it was away from the busy streets. But within very short walking distance to points of interest. The only time we hired a cab was for a reception at the aquarium. Definitely recommend.

Noi riesco a capire come un albergo del genere possa avere 5 stelle. Camere datate,rumorose,prezzi assurdi,phon in camera rotto,veramente un esperienza pessima..pensavo che la catena Melia fosse piú seria..unica nota positiva il personale che é stato sempre gentile.

Visitato il bar dell'hotel e posso dare solo che un giudizio ottimo e positivo. Interessante proposta di drink con materie prime di alto livello in un contesto molto elegante. Se vuoi provare a Genova drink selezionati e particolari questo è il posto giusto.

Ottima struttura con personale gentilissimo, camere pulite e posizione comoda. Consigliatissimo.
