"I LOVE Pepp's! We go for Trivia Wed"
"A wonderful place with the friendliest bartenders and the owners are amazing"
"Moved to the neighborhood recently and have stopped by a few times"
"We did a bachelorette party here and Sam was so accommodating!! We had a lot of embarrassing activities for the bride to do and the whole bar joined in the celebration"
"Amazing new bar (it used to be Cutters bar)"
I LOVE Pepp's! We go for Trivia Wed., 7:30p, and it's ALWAYS so fun! Relaxed atmosphere, dogs welcomed (tho I would venture "pets" welcomed,) FUN staff/owners in a neighborhood bar setting. My ONLY wish: FOOD! Even some chips would do!! It's HARD drinkin, talkin, socializing and not even some ZAPPS!
A wonderful place with the friendliest bartenders and the owners are amazing. They are laid back but are still attuned to their customers needs. They have great drinks and serve it up with enthusiasm. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an amazing drink with a relaxed environment.
Moved to the neighborhood recently and have stopped by a few times. The bartender Jordan, I think, girl with the bangs, has been rude and stand-offish every single time. Not sure why, I’ve been friendly each time. Don’t want to go to a place I don’t feel welcomed, so will be going to the other bars around.
We did a bachelorette party here and Sam was so accommodating!! We had a lot of embarrassing activities for the bride to do and the whole bar joined in the celebration. The staff are quick and friendly and the customer base was also so friendly. Good, local people go to this bar, drama free and all fun!!
Amazing new bar (it used to be Cutters bar). They cleaned up, renovated, and made the bar extremely dog friendly themed. If you have a dog, they take a picture and put it on the wall. Outdoor seating available in the street. Great drink selection, music, and vibes. Great for all demographics.
I stumbled upon this place last night. And really loved the bartender. The drinks were cheap and delicious. It’s a great dive bar. And they have tv screens for the game. Or to watch Dolly Parton like we did last night lol. Definitely stop by and give this place a try. It’s a great hidden gem.
I had so much fun here. This is my favorite bar to come to in New Orleans and hang out with like-minded individuals. Staff is very friendly drinks or not week and people that go there seem to be friendly and willing to befriend you. Words can't describe how much fun it is. " Wink"
The owner, a beautiful black dog named Pepper, is so kind and welcoming. My initial thoughts on the bar is that it wasn't "divey" enough, but my first opportunity to purchase a to go drink here changed my mind. Beautiful space with a really excellent selection of booze.
Thanks for claiming my ID is fake because my ears in my ID photo arent visible, refusing to serve me, and bending my ID claiming its brittle and i need LA WALLET even though thats not a legit form of ID. Maybe scan the back of peoples ID? I
Since moving to the Bywater from uptown, I’ve truly appreciated the warmth of the people here and the sense of community. You encounter all kinds of characters here, and people are at least respectful, which is comforting to experience as a
Bartenders are very disrespectful and pushy, they sure know how to make you feel out of place and uncomfortable. They also seem to play favorites with customers. I've noticed something entirely invasive they seem to enjoy is snapping photos
This felt like a neighborhood bar until the bartender treated me like a tourist and insisted on taking Polaroid pictures of me when an unknown person bought me a shot of Malort. I love Malort and was coerced into being photographed at an in
Honestly felt like the bar tenders were watching me and my friends drink outside like we were criminals for having a friend who's new phone wouldn't load her vaccination info, she was just as vaccinated as the rest of us (its policy at our
Nope Nope, and nope. Customers and locals are taking vaccid cards to extreme. I stood outdoors , pleading for a drink last night…..looking at the exasperated bar maid and was treated like a leper. I am a therapist with a PHD. I will not go
With the exception that the bar keeper, when I asked him what kind of well drinks were available, and he ACTUALLY asked me “what’s that”,when they actually had that they have well drinks listed on the board at the bar,it was a nice place to
I love the dog friendly atmosphere. Great vibe overall. I would give 5 stars but I’m really disappointed that I let someone buy me a shot of something and the bartender took my picture and put it on the wall. If I’d known my picture would
More visited by locals I guess, but it‘s a cool and friendly place to hang out and enjoy a relaxed day in Nola. Definitely give it a shot of the „Malört“ and check out the pictures of the ones who commented on its taste - worldwide fun :)
Pepp's is a lovely spot with a great margarita. I've been a few times for drinks and food when they have pop-ups and had nice experiences each time. The staff is also so friendly there. I called today to see if a food pop-up would make it
Very fun! The owner was very informative and friendly. Pepper, the dog was beautiful. The Bartender had us join the bathroom wall covered in pics of patrons trying a shot of Malort. So I figured I'd get a pic of him, LMAO We will be back!!
5 stars .. yes 5 for a bar .. why because the owner is so cool. His energy makes you want to just drink there all day or ask if they need a new employee.. plus the parklet outside that he had custom fitted with tops and seat is awesome..
One of the best bars in the city by far. I’m more of a cat person but all the dogs I’ve come across here have been so well behaved and fun to hang around. It’s an amazing place to decompress after a long day. The owners are always super
I got super drunk at this place their crush cocktail was so good! At least to me... I like drinks that taste like juice.... but I swallowed it down so fast, then I ordered a drink I thought was flavored water, and it turns out it was a
I wanted to give this bar five stars and should, because the drinks and atmosphere are wonderful. However, my sister will no longer go there with me because the bartender was rude and insisted on putting a picture of her on the wall to
Went mostly in search of hot food after a late shift at work... the bartender let me know that they partner up with a neighboring place so you can order and have it brought to you (food is cash only but there is a lovely wonderful ATM
Relatively new dive bar in the Bywater. Easy going atmosphere. Really liked the staff and the outdoor seating. Needs beer taps, not just bottles. Food is from the Franklin. Can't comment as I didn't try. But one thing I adore is how
Great neighborhood bar. It has a fun vibe with a mix of locals and tourists. Living in the neighborhood I've been here a few times. The bartenders are fantastic with one exception. I think the bartenders name is Jordan. She is the
Great stop off at Pepp’s. Great atmosphere, great drinks and really friendly owner who gave us some amazing tips for food. Really recommend you go here… and don’t forget to pet the real owner!! Thank you!!!
Such a great place to stop for a bev or three. Kait and Sam are so accommodating. Pepper, of course, steals the show. Great specials. Great music. Excellent whiskey selection. Pro tip: try the Malort. More
Very nice neighborhood bar. Dog friendly and great place to watch the game. Drinks are reasonably priced. The free pizza on GameDay was a nice touch. The owners are super nice people too.
All good, smarter bar with nice server, drink range and fellow customers. Not a part of town would normally come to it this, Daddy's next door and another round the corner would return
Lovely neighborhood bar! Operated by some great human beings! By the way, Pepp's is short for Pepper, the owners black lab, who's always there and the sweetest dog you'll ever meet!
Cute little dive bar the allows your dogs to chill with you. If you want a light refreshing drink try the crush, they use fresh oranges and grape fruit and it’s delicious More
Super friendly and welcoming owners and staff. I always love a good greeting from the namesake, Pepper dog. And they've got good prices and a awesome selection of beers.
Wondering around and found this spot. Very cool place for drinks. Came for happy hour. If you're in town it's worth the trip. Great beer selection and dog friendly. More
Great people, dog friendly, and daily specials. Plus you can get your Malort face on the wall! AND they have some amazingly cozy zip up hoodies.
They had a variety of sour beers a plum gose that was awesome! And cards games to simulate conversation. We were able to use Jamnola discount
Owners, staff, margaritas and dog experience - ALL incredible. If you want a spot to take your pup I highly recommend this one.
Pepp’s is one of my favorite bars in the world. Friendly, diverse, and there are always good dogs who need pets.
Our favorite bar in the neighborhood. Husband loves Malort. (Ew!) The whole bar staff makes amazing cocktails.
Ah-mazing dive bar. Was great to meet Kait and my only regret is my puppy couldn’t come.
