Used this service from SFO to Central SF. Paid $31.50 for a return ticket and took me to Powell st station where you can get the cable cars and trams to connect with. You can the buy a 3 day ticket for $35 to ride the trams and cable cars unlimited for 3 days. This gives access to all of the areas of interest.
Bart police patrol hourly and have an app where you can actually call or text if you feel unsafe that is. Overall, it's clean and never overcrowded. Trains come on time, and there's even a map and electronic screen that tells you what time each bart will arrive and how long til the next.
The BART system is great. You can travel from San Francisco international Airport to San Francisco Chinatown in roughly 45 minutes for 10 bucks. The scenery during the trip is great and don't forget to stop at the cemetery with levi jeans and Wyatt Earp!!!
A bit confusing for differentiating the two stations "Powell St and Union square station." Tales a minute to get it but just ask the mini help or Bart help. Otherwise, nice location and station. Would recommend taking pictures in the Union square station!
Having never used the BART before we were a bit confused by the app but the ticket booth operator was really helpful and set us straight. Station was clean and the train was on time. It got us to the airport in around 40 minutes of smooth riding.
Whenever I fly into SFO I usually take the Bart train to the East Bay to visit family. It's a very long and dreadful ride if driving by car from SFO. Traffic there is a nightmare on most days during the week and sometimes on weekends. Worse
They need to brighten up their signs and pull their entire look, both BART and MUNI, into this era. It’s also dusty looking down in the pits but the signage is difficult to understand and the basic direction of the way the trains run should
Cleaner and calmer than it was last time I rode BART a year or so ago. Bathroom looked very clean from the outside and a person seemed to be stationed near the entrance watching things. She even greeted me nicely as I walked out toward the
I can post hundreds of pictures for this place. I have so many memories over here but if you are visiting San Francisco first time then be careful because there are so many homeless people out there. Again Be careful and avoid eye contact
The best station for shopping and entertainment in the heart of the City. You will need to buy a Clipper Card to add credit to use on the metro and buses. Somehow I could not find the office too but it here, instead I was directed to the
This stop is in such a convenient location. If you exit through the center trains/trans, you’ll be right below the West Field mall. If you go towards the ends, you’ll find yourself exiting on Market Street, where there are cable cars and
Powell station environment has been improved a lot since I started using the Subway years ago. Both BART and Muni cooperation is extremely helpful. One of the best examples is the elevator. Staffs indside elevator help people with
No Alert On The App. About There Was A Delay. I Would Never Had Let My Location Early To Catch The 430pm Bart. It Took Me Till 7pm To Just Get To Berryessa. And I Miss My connection To The Bus . Has To Get A Lyft. And Pay More.
Very efficient station. But hard to find an elevator close by when lugging around heavy cases. Also BART train doors are not open long enough for entry when handling luggage. Needs to be at least 10 seconds
This place was not open in the early morning around 4.30 axm that I wasn't aware of. I thought the air train service is open 24/7 and it wasn't. I had to rent a second lift to get to the airport.
Not much to say, it's like any public transportation. It gets you from point A to point B. The station is kinda gross smelling of pee in some spots and reeking of cigarettes in others.
Terrible wifi signal; none at all in the MUNI terminal for the T line; constant vandalism, homeless, and human waste; unsafe--get off at a Montgomery instead if you can.
I use this station daily. They try to keep the station clean. I wish they would stop the gate hoppers. Why should I pay when they don't enforce the cheaters.
Powell Bart Station built an extension to chinatown and they have the coolest and widest entrance ever. Super clean. I enjoy using the train. Lol
*Very convenient location *bathroom available *many entrance/exit gates *elevators always working with an elevator attendant, makes me feel more
Love the Powell Street BART/Muni station. Welcome Ambassadors are the best of the best! Hope the positivity rubs of on the BART employees!
More police officers, please! More enforced laws, please! Less nonsense, foolishness, and NOT acceptable actions and behavior, please!
Man, Bart is just a dirty drug infested shell of its past glory. And prices went up. So I'm paying to feel unsafe and unsanitary??
Had a 20 minute wait for my train to SFO. Saw workers clean sweeping the floor. People in the City are pleasant and kind
It's a good way to travel and rumor has it bart goers might be able to get on muni at no charge. Just a rumor for now.
Trains ran frequently, and no one was playing ridiculously loud music. Polite crowd and easy to board the trains.
Typical BART station. Smells a little funny. Feels safe. A popular location.
