Needed some storage kind of last minute as the construction on my new place wasn't finished when expected. The staff at Stor'em was extremely helpful and super nice and accommodating. On the phone, Darlene took the time to go over all the units and prices with me...listening to all the things I needed to store and suggesting which size would be best. When I came in later that day, she took the time to drive me around in the golf cart and show me the different units. At the time, there weren't any of the size unit I needed available, so I had to rent a different size. Darlene, being super awesome, let me know that one might be coming available in the next couple days before I was moving, and that she would let me know. I didn't really expect her to remember to check on that for me or call me, but she did! Two days later she called to let me know that a unit size I needed became available and she had held it for me! And, when I came back in to start moving my things into storage, she and Miguel were both there and were really helpful with everything and anything I needed. Thanks so much guys! I'll use Stor'em again in the future for sure

First month I was there my locker was broken into and they stole almost everything in there. But they did give me a new room for 75 mo. Alot cheaper than the first one. They also gave me 1 month free so that was cool. I think I shoulda got 6 months free. They stole everything. Golf clubs $400, hundreds of DVD's $500, coffee pot $75, diamond ring $1,350, clothes $500, Sports memorabilia priceless, 40 inch TV, $200, surround sound speaker bar $345. And things I can't remember every single item I had in there. They are very nice people that work there but they need a security crew in there keeping things secure. They sawed thru the walls to get in there. And they broke into one locker thru the door. But they sawed thru the walls to rob 5-6 units adjacent to mine. I dunno, on a scale of 1 to 10, they get a 4 at security . Prolly deserve a 2 but I'm trying to be nice.

I have been using this storage facility since before it became Store'Em and prior to the transition I wasn't exactly stoked on the company, with a few minor issues here and there. Why am I giving 5 stars? You might ask. Well, the associate Sarah has worked there throughout and she is so great! She always has my key waiting on the counter when I come inside to sign in, she is very friendly and consistantly works with a positive attitude. When my credit card expired, she assisted me in getting my new one on file when the other associate had forgotten to put it in the computer. Sarah makes me feel comfortable and happy to come to my unit. Because I am a wedding planner, I come regularly and often, so it's nice to be greeted and remebered. Thanks Sarah for your all star service!

You get what you pay for. I will start off by saying that for the most part, every interaction with the staff has been great. That being said they’ve started closing the office from 1-2 stating covid reasons. Really inconvenient time of day for a closure, but fine, it’s posted on the door so at least it’s known. However, two trips in a row now, the single attendant has taken a lunch break starting at 2 that lasts upwards of an hour. If 1-2 isn’t a lunch break, not too sure why the office is closed for that time. A good portion of the units require you to get a key from the office to get into the building so you can access your own unit. Facilities are adequate and sufficiently secure, but you can’t take away 2 hours from the already limited operating hours on a weekend.

SD storage offers a good location with plenty of storage options at decent prices. I've been there for about 3 years and have never had any issues. What made me give them 5 stars was their staff. Particularly Sarah and Lisa. Countless times I have had odd requests that they have gone well beyond the call of duty to accommodate for me. Not only that, they seem to genuinely care about everything I have going on with work (I use my storage unit for work storage) and they take the time to help me out every step of the way. In short- SD storage is a fully functional, decently priced, and well maintained storage facility. The staff is A+ and second to none in terms of customer service quality. Thanks Sarah and Lisa!

I have been renting a storage unit here for a couple of years. From the very beginning the staff has been really nice. Lisa is the person I interact with most. She always makes me smile. What sets this place apart is the customer service. The 2nd time I came in to the lobby, both the people working at the front counter greeted me by name. That shocked me because I hadn't been there in a couple of months. Everytime I go in I feel welcome. There are lots of storage places to choose from in San Diego but I am glad I found this one. If you need a storage place and want the personal touch and to be treated as valued customer, S.D. Storage is the place to go.

I've been with SD Storage for almost a year. I've only had good things to say about them. I was out of town for seven months and I had no issues with my unit or my account. The reason my experience with SD Storage had been so smooth is becasue of two employees that seem to be there every time I go there. Lisa and Sarah consistantly have a smile on their faces and are very quick with any service I need. Lisa and Sarah always provide top notch customer service. They always greet me by name and have my keys ready for me when I come. Lisa and Sarah are the highlights of SD Storage!

I was running a mobile auto repair business back in 2017 and thought it would be beneficial to rent out a storage spot, So I did for the last 5 years. Never had a problem till today with the new company prime storage. They said, " everything will work properly doors, gates etc... and we are installing new cameras so we can feel safe ( I was attacked and threatened on the property), a renovated office so we can act professional. Blah, blah, blah..I'm suing you for breach of contract .and for being threatened on your property ...see you in court witch...

We have had wonderful experience with the staff at the Mission Bay Drive Stor'em facility. In particular Lisa was incredible efficient AND friendly, with a super customer service attitude. My husband and I recently moved to San Diego and had more stuff to store than originally expected. Lisa not only helped to rent us an initial space, but a few weeks later helped us get a second space at a moment's notice when our "stuff" came! She was excellent, offering us options to minimize our cost and maximize our space. GREAT PEOPLE! GREAT ATTITUDE!

The Stor'em staff was very helpful in getting the right storage and best price. I originally went to the pacific highway location, but they only had units on the second floor available. The girl working was very nice and checked the Mission Bay Dr location to see if they had availability because they are all 1st floor units. At the Mission Bay Dr location Anthony and Katy were very helpful in showing me the unit and getting me set up that day on the spot. The customer service is really good, and it the best price I could find for units.

I went to Self Storage to look for a small unit and Sarah helped me. She was super sweet and knowledgeable. I highly recommend going and asking for her. She was able to not only show me the unit but I was able to get a quote for when I need the unit and was able to let me know information about safety because I was worried my stuff would have been broken into. I was very happy to see that the site was very clean and well maintained by her and other staff members. Thank you so much Sarah and I look forward to speaking to you soon!

Gloria W. Was extremely helpful showing me different size storage units and walking me through the options. She would attempt to find empty units that were closest to the main door to provide an easier time unloading my storage items. This particular area can be congested with traffic at certain times of the day and it is helpful that there is a stop light at the bottom of their drive way to make pulling out easier. Gloria W. worked hard to make this a fast and smooth transaction and I appreciated her attention to detail.

I loved how clean this place was compared to other storage companies. The customer service was excellent as well. I’ve been searching everywhere for a decent place to keep my stuff while I’m away and although I got a better price somewhere else I might just take the offer store em gave me. I appreciate great service and a clean environment. Raleigh provided me with all the information I needed about units and how much monthly payments are. It honestly seemed like he really loved working there and was happy to assist me.

I had a good experience using store'em. Everytime i went the people working there were helpful and nice I had been helped by Katie multiple times and she was always patient and friendly when I was there When I finally check out and retrieved my things it was very simple. Always have had good customer service at this facility and I’ve had storage for years all over San Diego. They didn’t raise my rates after the 1 year mark and when I needed to get a larger unit without notice they didn’t gouge me for it! They allowed me to use their online service to snag a free month on my new unit and they refunded most of the rent I had just paid last week. They gentleman who helped me was pleasant, helpful, and professional! Good rates too compared to other storage in the area!

I'll start by saying that I'm moving and obviously this is a very stressful time trying to find a storage unit for all my furniture. I came in on a Saturday and Brienna was working. She was very personable, and was knowledgeable about the units that would suit my needs. We looked at a few units and she was able to find one for me that could fit my house worth of furniture. So pleased with her customer service and I will be come back if I need more storage options.

Adrian is amazingly helpful. He claimed he had never seen someone so happy to pay an outstanding balance. Lucky for me I wasn't charged any late fees for the 4 months my payments were delayed. They double locked my storage as a precaution & disabled my key access but that was for my own protection. This facility is huge but well maintained and if you don't drive like me, the staff can drive you to your specific unit in their snazzy golf carts.

I made a reservation online, mostly based on pricing. Grateful that Christianna showed me what it looked like BEFORE starting paperwork because I realized it was actually too small for my needs. Went over all the necessary steps, simply and efficiently. She was very helpful and knowledgeable about anticipating everything I would need. I’ve been using this storage space since I’ve lived in San Diego and definitely will continue.

I have been renting a storage unit at S.D. Storage for five months now and I have always been greeted politely, respectfully, and with a smile. Sarah and Reina have always been extremely helpful in meeting needs and answering questions I might have had with policy and the availability of units. Set up a last minute reservation, and when I checked in - the entire process was fast and very informational. I was given a one on one tour to my storage unit before i signed any paper work, and I am glad I did get to see everything and talked through what I needed to provide and do. I left feeling very good about my choice in storing my items at this location and appreciated the help I received!

Good storage place, prices are similar to the other businesses and have good variety of choices for customers needs. Increased their fees recently out of the blue though by $10 which seems not that much but its $120 a year extra and I haven't even rented for that long. Other than that, its pretty good, responds to emails very fast and customer support in general was good

Very rude. Poor customer service. Treated like I was a low life. Gate opens too late 9am and closes too early 7pm. Overall experience was poor. I literally was yelled at for leaving 2 minutes after 7pm. Friends had similar experiences. If you dont look like you are "upper class" beware and be ready for second hand treatment. Go to A1 or another storage

Reina means "Queen" in Spanish and she more than lives up to the name! She is always smiling and helpful. Sarah was fantastic! I typically don't write reviews but she went completely out of her way to help out. I showed up a few minutes before closing and she didn't complain or make Me feel bad for making her stay after they were closed! Also the place is easy to get to and safe and clean! Sarah was very helpful. We lost noth of our keys & I wasn't listed on the lease. She quickly emailed my husband the authorization form, cut the lock & even told me about a wonderfully convenient option to have the location keep a copy of the key on site for us! We were told reservations are only held for 7 days so when we get closer to our move date we will be going back.
