One of the worst pharmacies in London, Staff are sometimes rude, sometimes ingratiating, but whoever's running the place must hate the job because when it comes to anything beyond simple off-the-shelf products, the place becomes wilfully obstructive. Part incompetent, part pedantic, it's happened too often to be unusual. To me and to others. Medications ordered wrong or delayed; followed by long boring debates in the face of smokescreen, delay tactics, evasions, etc, before eventually correcting the mistake. It's a pity this abysmal pharmacy is squatting on Hampstead High Street but the Boots around the corner and Keats Pharmacy down the hill are both MUCH better.
Have been a loyal customer of Ritz for over 25 years, but notice that since the last few years the service is going down. They were never cheap but had excellent service and was a good village pharmacy where customers were recognised and valued. Of late there’s constant turnover of staff resulting in no customer recognition. The staff are all student types, therefore temporary, with little or no knowledge of their own products. Fewer staff also results in long waits when one has to keep one eye on the parking time. Very disappointed.
Do not send your prescription there if it is an emergency. Their computer system is not right and they are unable find it. Staff are nice but everything else doesn't work. I lost 1h while trying to get my antibiotics sent to this pharmacy from the previous day during working hours. When they finally got my data they didn't have a full blister so they printed the receipt and I went to search elsewhere.
Nice friendly service. Lovely decor. Nice place to wait for your prescription unlike some of the other miserable pharmacies put there. Didn't even wait long, very quick and efficient service. Was writing this review while I was waiting, didn't have time to finish it so completed it in the car, that's how quick they were! Pharmacist was very friendly as were the staff. All the staff were very helpful !
There is an interesting range of products there, but most are overpriced. The staff are rude and as I noted repeatedly, not friendly to kids. I once asked for an ingredients list on the product they carry, and the lady rudely said they don't have it. Which I think , is not even legal (pharmacies are supposed to know what they sell and share the info with consumers).
I went inside to buy an anti bacterial hand gel, the guy behind the till asked me 9,99£ for it. When I said that it was crazy, he told me “well...but that’s the last one!” smiling. It’s a joke. Unprofessional and unkind. Definitely NOT recommended. If you want to overprice you’re stuff you can, but don’t make jokes and fun of people.
I cannot in any way fault this pharmacy. The pharmacist and staff are so helpful and I would not go anywhere else. I have nothing but praise and I am extremely lucky to have this pharmacy so close to me. Thank you so much for serving me so fantastically well over all these years.
The staff and the pharmacist are always incredibly helpful and knowledgable . They have been at Ritz for years and knows all the local clientele very well. Its great to have an independently owned pharmacy with more interesting products and feel that they really care
The staff was welcoming and helpful, I ordered medicine which other pharmacy/chemists couldn’t order. There was a staff went out of his way to place the order and made sure my prescription arrived the next day. Very efficient place, I would highly recommend them.
Got there at 6:50pm to get a prescription from the GP (released at 3pm) for a 3 year old with 39.5 temperature and they wouldn’t receive me saying they had commitments to attend (while shutting the door in my face). Should be criminal!
Staff are so incredibly rude. The pharmacist made me feel embarrassed and anxious about my reason for being there and made me feel stupid. I walked out. Awful pharmacy- go to Boots down the road, much better.
Twice in as many weeks I have been in here. Both times, different people were helping customers and NOT wearing any kind of face mask of visor. Demonstrates how much you care for your customers.
Avoid, Would not recommend not sure why anyone would go in twice as once you receive the rude service and see the overpriced products its common sense to just go to boots...
This is a great pharmacy , staff is very lovely and helpful . We also appreciated enormously a super quick home delivery of medication when isolating . Many thanks !
An excellent team who go the extra mile with their expert advice and wide range of products. One of the best pharmacies I've ever been to.
Staff are nice and product range is also very good. They have some super soft toothbrush that you may not find anywhere else.
Very rude staff, especially the older gentleman in the back. Don't think they've ever heard of customer service.
Staff is amazingly helpful. Got my Clarins deodorant without having to make a trip to a big department store.
Lovely friendly helpful pharmacy Nice range of items and the usual pharmacy medicine and prescription
A good choice of products, helpful staff and pharmacist, also dog friendly unlike other pharmacies.
Charging £18 for face masks. Not exactly partaking in the ethos of helping the local community.
very nice staff, friendly and knowledgeable. I go there regularly.
Impeccable service, product range and price. Great local amenity
My place so to speak. Always get my prescriptions filled here
They try to rip patients and the NHS off !
Great pharmacy
