"Poor Customer service don't normally shop at this store"
"Unfortunately, there were semi-empty shelves on Sunday, but instead of it being because of many people having had bought stuff, I was told it was because of thieves stealing"
"Love going there to hunt for a pair of good quality shoes that usually don’t cost more than 30 bucks (I’ve gotten at least two pairs of Pumas, a pair or two of nice Calvin Kline dress shoes in size 13); also love finding some awesome smelling candles for cheap (be patient and look and smell through them, a lot of them are a bit much , but if you’re patient , you’ll find at least a couple )"
"Always good discount, trendy items, good section of home goods and decor, well stocked up for upcoming holidays like hallowe’en, Easter, etc"
"I really like this store and location it's close to my work and home"
Poor Customer service don't normally shop at this store. Asked one of the employees standing watching over a cashier where the return line was at. She was an older lady, petite, wearing glasses found out later on she was one of the managers on duty. The cashier who attended me told me who she was. When asking for help and for the return line I was being ignored. When got her attention and asked again she didn't even look at me gave me a hand signal to the left. I happened to get in the wrong line and waited 30 mins to be checked out by a cashier. Than they tell me I had to get in another line for returns. There is 3 lines only 1 was in use duringthat time. And a small 5 by 7 sign kind of hidden with return line information. I did see the sign because it only faces on way towards the cashiers. Not to the opposite direction of those waiting in line. The manager was rude and had poor leadership skills. When someone speaks to you, your attention should be on them with direct eye contact. Needs improvement!
Unfortunately, there were semi-empty shelves on Sunday, but instead of it being because of many people having had bought stuff, I was told it was because of thieves stealing. They already have a uniformed guard, but this is normal in SF now, and it's sad and pathetic that this city is being run into the ground. I guess the strip mall could use guards walking outside the stores as well as indoors. We need this store along with the other stores (I don't understand the athletic store, we wanted a TJ Maxx), and the empty store to be filled with something (I'd love a Dollar Tree), but too much hopeful thinking. I like this Ross, but it is also messy. It could use some organization. I did find something I was looking for, though, but the line was long to buy one item.
Love going there to hunt for a pair of good quality shoes that usually don’t cost more than 30 bucks (I’ve gotten at least two pairs of Pumas, a pair or two of nice Calvin Kline dress shoes in size 13); also love finding some awesome smelling candles for cheap (be patient and look and smell through them, a lot of them are a bit much , but if you’re patient , you’ll find at least a couple ). I then beeline for the skin care area where I usually at least find one brand name item for a good price (last find this week was an awesome Baxter Clay mask). Then as I am standing in line for the register I always grab me a bag of Jelly Belly’s a and an Aloe water. They always have a lot of cashiers so you’re not standing in line for too long .
Always good discount, trendy items, good section of home goods and decor, well stocked up for upcoming holidays like hallowe’en, Easter, etc. , huge variety of shoes, women’s apparel, men’s apparel, accessories, bags, wallets, makeup, fragrances , toys, munchies, snacks, jewellery, watches, active wear, kids wear, infant wear and baby accessories, Highend brands as well, security is always hovering around, long cues as for maintaining crowd inside store, there is even an extra discount for senior citizens on Tuesday. Only one drawback that i felt is no restroom; may be due to security reasons. Long cues for billing, warm welcoming and helpful cashiers
I really like this store and location it's close to my work and home. This one gets alot of really nice items such as clothes, housewares etc. I never leave empty handed and I love it. If you see something grab it because if u think you're gonna come back it's already gone. I guess since covid alot of ppl decided out with the old and in with the new. I just went and everything was pretty much gone or really picked thru. The shelves in bedding and towels were damm near empty omg. No problem I will be back again to shop. The parking is free, the weather is always nice, and you can get good deals at Ross what's not to like? Happy Shopping
The place has hidden gem if you are patient enough to search through the countless rack. On weekends, the line is long and there could be a line to get in as well. But the price is justifiable. I sometimes chanced upon good bargains. It could be hard weaving through the narrow racks with others when the store tries to maximise store inventory. There are fitting rooms where you have to collect a fitting tag from the lady before going in, and pass her back for tally after fitting. It is small inconvenience for theft Prevention. I will recommend this for people who doesn't mind spending time and the tight space for cheap finds.
First of all, as of June 2021, fitting rooms are open again! Although masks are still required due to CA's insane regulations, we are, at least, one more step closer to normalcy and sanity . Good selection of household items to home decor, shoes, clothes and everything in between. This location is quite well-organized and you won't need to go through pile of stuff to find what you need. Feb. 2022, Brandon inflation and supply chain backlog hit the store hard. There's barely anything in the store to shop from. When will this be over? We should all ask ourselves.
I have to agree with everyone else's experience; that this store is full of very rude employees. I'm glad that I'm not the only one who did not enjoy their Ross experience. Not because I wasn't others to be treated poorly, but I'm glad it's not just me. Really though, it's 50/50 because there were also some very nice people who are there to help. Mostly it was security. I'm convinced that I've got a doppleganger that galavants all around this city running amok. It sounds kinda fun, come to think of it... I must be the wrong twin! Lol With Love (but not for Ross LPs), The Gypsy
The worst customer service ever! Don't ever go there. Don't ever ask any questions to make your day messed up. I asked for a return, although the cashier said just be quick, we will do that, but Register number 1 said: CUSTOMER SERVICE CLOSED, NO REFUND. I would rather go and buy from other stores but not even stop by here. And other thing is, the under armour flip ver selling for $22 by UA. But Ross sells for $35. I even went to cashier and confirmed. Yes it is more expensive than Under Armour!
I stopped in on the off chance that they might have the shoes I was looking for after the big shoe store on the other side of the mall didn't have it. Turns out they did and at a killer discount from what it would have been at the shoe store! Having said that, this Ross is pretty run down and it is a Ross. If it has what you are looking for, you can face a bundle, but don't expect a fancy store or a great selection, but you might get lucky. I did.
I've been to more than half a dozen Ross stores here in Tucson and also to some in some other cities, and this one located inside the Foothills Mall is probably the best I've seen. The assortment of men's and woman's clothing is great, and the artwork, furniture, and home decor items have a great selection of things to go through. The people here were also really friendly, looking for opportunities to help you find whatever you need.
So sad to said this but the fee times I been there I have seen how the poeple walking in robbed the store and the tire manager don’t even do nothing so sad and dangerous for costumers it was pretty scared when I was there with my baby and hands and the guys almost push me with my kids the security there doesn’t do nothing the manager was just there doing nothing I think costumers experiences should be always good
A rude woman with freckles all over her face, who was brilliantly beautiful gave me hell for a return. She only returned most of my items and told me that one of them were not on the receipt, and I told her her it was, as I purchased everything the day prior, and she gave me hell. Rude and nasty. Do not spend your dollars here. And the staff looked unclean. Get ot together Ross. I want my $6.00
It is what it is. At one time, Ross was the place to get all your slightly obsolete high fashion from the big department stores. Also, bigboys like me had the opportunity to buy tees of my size 3XL.. now, I'm lucky if I can find a decent 38W shorts or pants like I used to purchase. Perhaps someday they'll go back to the way things were, but until than I can get great caps to wear.
Neatly kept. I've been in some pretty shabby Ross stores in the past and this is definitely one of the better ones. Located inside the FootHills Mall. Lots of selections of clothes at very reasonable prices. Women's, men's, and children's apparel. Some household goods as well. Purses and accessories are also available. I will definitely return when I am visiting in the area.
The usual mess but well organized and always new things. The lingerie department is not what it used to be. There are not cute things any longer and majority are plus plus sizes. Not sexy sleep wear, no sexy undies and bras, only few medium size undies in fact only one rack of it. I really wish they would add better stuff in that section. More cute lingerie please!
Great store at and a great location. Went in to get a travel bag for checked baggage, found an amazing deal for a good brand bag at like 75% off the original price. Generally has a good collection of clothes and shoes also, you just have to look for your sizes. They also sell seasonal things like they had gift sections for Christmas when I went in December!
Beautiful and I m thankful cause I like one of a kind of products and cheap and out of style type of clothing s and shoes. For exampl I found a k swiss shoes high tops on the same size that I barely see specially my size and style that I like for a fair amount of price .love last shoes rebook for such good perfect price..thankful I hope it's stay same
Every time I go to Russ I come up big I find good deals it's a freaking mess as well as Big Lots but the deals are impeccable he just can't get it like that in the things I have from there have last me so I find shopping there a dream I'm so bummed out that Burlington TJ Maxx Marshalls all got closed so now all we have is Big Lots in Ross
This Ross store has great deals on unusual food items, calphalon pots and pans, nondesigner shoes and workout clothes. The checkout line moves slowly because they don't have enough cashiers. I learned on this trip that I receive a 10% discount on Tuesdays because I'm over 55. For that reason alone, I will return again and again.
Long line. There were 5 cash-desks operating (of total 11). Helpful staff, which I appreciate, taking into consideration how overlaboured they are. Very good prices for cakes, cookes, etc. Don't miss these items but check the expiration dates. Usual mess in the merchandise but it's us the shoppers to be blamed for, not the team.
The only issue I had last time was with the non speaking, non understanding man in the men's dept. There are no men's robes and he misunderstood me and told me to go to the rugs dept. Smh. The cost of some tshirts and hoodies are stellar, but waiting online for 15 minutes to purchase three items is ingratiatingly frustrating.
It's inside the foothills mall. It's not an outlet though. The store is like every other Ross but their merchandise is a lot less than the rest. There are baren spots though out from men shoes, clothing to housewhares to women shoes. The dresses seem always stocked though. Great for little in and out trips. Never busy inside.
I love this place. Great finds at awesome prices. Plus I always seem to meet another woman and we help each other shop for cute outfits lol. I always have fun looking for hidden treasures. I love their home goods section a ton!! If you want great deals especially when you're on a budget Ross is a wonderful store.
I love this store and everyone who works there too. They stay open until 9pm everyday also. I shop here a lot! Most of the time I find lots of things I want, but some days there aisle are bare. They go through merchandise quickly. If you see something you like get it because the next day it will ve gone.
Honestly I got the feeling that it was majority for women there's a small section in the back of socks and shoes and stuff for for men and women but as far as clothing I don't think anything is all for women and but it was very clean and the lines were a little long but it's very nice of our four stars
3.5 if I could. One complaint. The Loss Prevention can sometimes be too "extra". Sometimes zI sm followed around the store, eventhough I have never swollen from there. It's not just me either. My sister and I were followed around one time as well. I get that theft is high right now, but #dobetter Ross!
Nice people working there. Also the store have very good quality items like sleepers the price are always good specially at this time when is covid 19 season there are taken precautions . I love when the store have at the door hand sanitizers to clean your hands which this store it is one of them .
slim pickings on the circulon cookware after the weekend. not many men's hoodies, either. men's shower shoes were plentiful but. not in my size. this time there were more table cloths than last weekend. the register lines are still slow moving with only three cashiers and over 6 customers in line.
In the age of dying retail Ross Dress for Less is thriving. The store is well merchandised and the staff is friendly. Prices are reasonable and deals/sales are always available. They have numerous food outlets (some that overlook union square). As well as a full service tourist info center.
If you factor in the time lost standing for a half hour in a line reaching the back of the store; the entire time realizing you had forgotten to grab socks to go with your lucky find of Cole Hahn modernized wingtip's with a Wellington sole, you just might find it may not be worth the wait.
I personally love Ross its one of my favorite stores! This Ross store is very clean, most of the help is very helpful, they cash out fairly quick. They have a great woman's section, and a great cooking section as well.I can usually be in and out in about 45 min. Thats pretty fast for me.
I love a bargain. Ross provides that bargain. I took my soon to be 10 year old niece to shop for her upcoming birthday. Kids are not easy to please, and this kid is really picky. She picked out 2 shoes. 2 tops a little purse and a couple of stuffies and I didn't have to take out a loan.
I love to wander around Ross. You know exactly what you want, but it's hard to find, unless you take your time at Ross! Many a time I have found things more suitable than I had imagined. Always something great to find and more unimagined to explore. Ross never disappoints!!
Great deals but security crawls all over like they think youre stealing. Not a good environment to shop in. However, i literally saw people stealing?!? I haven't had creepy experiences like this at any other ross. Loss prevention here is not very bright i guess
I reached the checkout with my purchases when I discovered that I was missing one of my items. The cashier kindly sent for the item saving me from leaving the checkout line. This saved me so much time and stress. Big thank you to the Ross employee. ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Ross is great! I generally find what I'm in the market for. Usually it's a last minute purchase and still I find what I need at a good price. This time I needed a piece of luggage for quickly arranged visit to my home town. They had just what I needed.
Not very clean or organized. No one to assist you finding things. No restroom. The Ross for less over by the zoo is much nicer and has a lot more to offer the customers in the way of merchandise and assistance while shopping and it is bigger.
There staff here are extra rude. The bald petite build loss prevention boy is unbelievably unprofessional. He harasses customers. I was accused on 4 occasions by this gerble of stealing. It's ridiculous. I spent allot of money each visit. I
I have shopped at this Ross MANY times, but when I finally had a return, I was informed that I could/would not receive a refund (less than a week, unopened bed sheets). Instead I got a voucher (which I am sure the corporate fat-cats hoped
Ross is a great store; small wonder they're still in business. When I moved into my place I needed cookware, linens and towels, etc. I was able to get all of this for a song, a fraction of the price, and they were quality items! I love
crazy busy the day I went in, prom season maybe, but the store was crowded and the cashier line was all the way to the back of home goods. however i purchased a pair of $6 earrings and got the rest of my stuff rung up without waiting.
We've been there and looking for some shoes and also found them. Staff seems to be fairly friendly but it wasn't that crowed so they were also not stressed. All in all not that bad. Liked it much more than the one the Strip in Vegas.
I visited Ross looking for a bagpack and I was greeted at the entrance by a tall security he was so polite and make my experience feel so pleasant hard to find this kind of costumer service now days he needs a promotion or a raise
Found these new Levi kicks.. Everything is cool here except for the lil Asian security guard that watches my EVERY move in the store when I'm just spending money in there! Making me and friend feel super uncomfortable …
I was able to get through the line relatively easily at checkout. The selection was good too. I found everything I was looking for and some extra stuff too! Stays open a little later than the downtown store so that's good!
I enjoy shopping at Ross because you can never know what "finds" there to be had. You probably can find something to fit your budget. There's food items, shoes, clothing, bedding, linens, accessories, furniture, etc.
Now that they have finally added more cashiers and a better system for waiting in line, I will return after my last visit. It seems also cleaner and the security people actually smile and ask how's your day going.
I love this store as everything is available under one roof . And also prices are so reasonable that suits to everyone's pocket. I bought some stuff from the store, definitely will visit again …
This location is always packed full of people. Was able to find a couple of things for my one year old today. It's just always super busy and hot in this location. Great deals, though, if you can find your size.
Upon first entry, we were greeted with incredibly rude assets protection employees who made a big issue of us walking in while they were answering another guests question who were just in front of us.
Small store. Decent selection of items. Good overall prices. Nice staff. Parking lot. Public transit close by. Set in a shopping center with Safeway and restaurants, Chase & AAA with DMV, Petco...
I love Ross! I got 3 pair of sweats, 3 pair of briefs, and 2 shirts for about 50 bucks not bad for that type of haul with brand named cloths too like Rebock, Nike, and Adidas... So ya I love Ross!
Got there about 30 mins before they closed. It took longer to stand in line and be checked out than it did for me to shop. I did however find a great deal on a mobile storage box.worth the wait.
Clothing crammed together by size with no real assortment, isles are too small for shopping carts, and security looks to menacing for the low-quality cost clothing. Bring back Emporium-Capwell.
Vast assortment of apparel and home decor prices are manageable as well ... At first the line after shopping can be a little discouraging but honestly it moved surprisingly quick .
My wife and I have really found many great buys over a wide range of products. My favorite right now are butter toffee pop corn. Their men's jackets are also great.
Since they started regulating the number of customers allowed in the store at one time, it is much better. It forces the homeless junkie thieves to go elsewhere.
Way too crowded.. the parking lot is insufficient for the amount of stores that are there.. May as well take an uber and get dropped off on the street..
Great service. Manager is unprofessional with employees. Tough environment for employees to work in. But still employees are very professional.
You can find good clothe and shoes if you look for them. Stuff is not helpful at all, especially the lady in fitting room was very aggressive.
Great deals, a lot of nice stuffs can be found around. I came here for my newborn baby clothes. There are so many choices. Will comeback soon
Pretty sure I had an item stolen from me while I was in the store and security wouldn't help me at all with looking at the security footage.
Good selection for a great price how can you beat it. It might seem like a long line but the checkers work really fast so u r n and out...
Saw a manager start yelling at a woman because wanted to charge a higher price. One register. To check out long lines. Customers angry.
I always love a good bargain but security is high but street ppl can crowd the place so experience is bad for shoppers like me
It's really messy. Bad service and they denied my son to use they're restroom. It's always close when I come here. Horrible
Ross at Potrero mall on 16th St in SF is very good, a lot of variety of clothes at a good price, nice customer service.
Variety of things but staff will follow you around as you shop so be careful. One my favorites to shop good prices
First time stop by 3 weeks ago. They have everything's like house goods, carpets, Honeys, not just clothing's.
The walkways are too narrow they need to make them wider..security is better wich is good to prevents thef..
Worst customer service ever. This lady is so rude. If you don’t like your job you should find another one
They are still letting people in one at a time , also they aren't keeping up with the lastest styles.
The Customer service was good and the prices always affordable but some items were in short supply...
Surprisingly clean and well organized store! Great management I believe doing great job keep it up!
Very friendly staff at the entrance. A good mixture of clothes, shoes, home decor and other stuff.
I wish they had more Home items to choose from. Over all it's a great place to shop on a budget.
The entire staff and security are very helpful and respectful good customer service
Ross is Ross, this location can be overwhelmingly busy on the weekends.
Reasonably priced clothes and seniors get 10% off on Tuesdays ..
Busy with clientele. Great bargain and affordable prices
Is a good store I buy what I need for my holidays Ross.
The best deal in town are here so be ready for extra so
Good place to buy some useful stuff at less price.
The lady at the fitting rooms was VERY NICE
Very negative terrible customer service
Cool spot, good prices and nice people
