Worst people to deal with in this time of grieving. They are money hungry and treat you with the opposite of respect and dignity. I would recommend going ANYWHERE else. ANYWHERE. (Edited 2021, Daddy died in 2017) To elaborate further...he wanted the money up front, offered no payment plan (my parents and I were technically homeless at the time with no life insurance) and when we found a funeral home that did, he had my Daddy embalmed and said we had to pay $700 to have his body released. We did not give him permission for that. Mind you this was 1 day after Daddy died.
