I guess 3 to 5 business days for shipping is a joke. It’s the 17th and I still don’t have this. I bought this belt for an event today and I can’t believe you could not meet 3-5 business days l am extremely disappointed and don’t think I will ever order again. 7 business days later FedEx shows the delivery date as pending. I call FedEx and they say bc Saks shipped it Economy which can be sourced to to USPS through Surepost. Today I have called into your Customer Service 3 separate times of the day. The 1st call the rep put me on hold after giving her my account number and after 10 mins in hold she disconnected it. I heard her come back on the line and laugh before disconnecting it. 2nd call the rep put me on hold after giving my acct number. She backs back to say she is having system issues and can pull up my order and told me I should just call back in a hour or another day I asked if she could just transfer me to someone else and she said no and said I need to call back because she can’t help me. 3rd call you he person said the system was updating and she couldn’t help me. I said cant someone help me bc I’ve been calling all day. She said no and sorry and then talked over me saying please call back later and disconnected the call. There are too many other similar sites that don’t ship sure post (a cheap as possible) so that can meet shipping promises. I try to get help from you and This is by far the worst customer service I have ever received. You took the money to pay for the items immediately but I can’t get anyone to help me or even keep a shipping promise. Something I really wanted has me second guessing if it’s worth all this. Thanks but no thanks

I visited New Orleans this past weekend and stopped into Saks Fifth Avenue of New Orleans, specifically to check out the Chanel boutique. I've been dreaming of buying the large classic Chanel bag for quite some time, and plan to do so very soon. Upon arrival into Chanel, my husband and I were greeted by a very friendly sales woman named Maddie. She brought us some water as we had been out walking in the hot sun all morning and which was very kind of her. After I browsed for a minute, she brought out a few bags for me to look at/try on which made my heart flutter! This was one of the best experiences I have ever had as far as customer service goes! I can honestly say that when I do buy my first Chanel bag in the upcoming months, I will be contacting Maddie C. down in New Orleans from my home state of Michigan. I also want to add that I stopped by the Chanel cosmetics area and got the same wonderful treatment from Roxanne J. She was just as kind and helpful and she introduced me to the 1957 fragrance, which both my husband and I loved on me! I also made sure to get her card so I can order from her, which I will also be doing soon! What a LOVELY experience, hands down! This is how you treat customers! I can honestly say, because I had such a positive experience, I will be spending my hard earned money at the New Orleans location vs the Troy, MI location. Thank you so much!

I actually stopped by to do a mystery shop for a supplier who wanted to know why the sells of their products were so low at this location. As it turns out the products in question are only available online and not actually in store so unless you ask an associate about them their is no indication that they can even be purchased here. That being said the staff especially Deanna was very friendly and helpful. She answered all of my questions and made sure I was satisfied with my experience. The security guard did seem to have a bit of an attitude but it didn't seem to be directed towards anyone in particular and I assume she was just having a bad day it was rather late. Unfortunately since they didn't have the items I was looking for I didn't take any pictures however I did see several other things I was interested in and will definitely be going back to purchase later. Product pricing and placement was impressive, sells people were polite and informative but not pushy. The store was very clean, well organized and maintained. Overall it was a nice peaceful shopping experience that I enjoyed, and to be honest I don't usually enjoy shopping at all. Frankly unless I am doing a mystery shop I usually stick to online shopping to avoid the stress and hassle of the in store experience. Anyway Thank you Saks for renewing my faith in upscale Merchant's. Have a blessed day everyone.

I ordered 2 pairs of shoes while on vacation in August. They were supposed to be delivered to me once I returned home. This never happened. So of course, I called the store to get clarification on where my package was. The rep. Vicki took my information and called back later to state the package was delivered and left on the porch. She went on to state that she was directed by corporate to tell me to file a claim with my homeowners insurance for a stolen package. I went back and forth with this company since August 31st. Not until I filed a claim with them for a stolen package did they provide me with a tracking number from FedEx. What good it does now, a month after it was supposed to be delivered. Now here we are 5 months later and a package is magically left on my door with "return to sender and wrong address on it." Now Saks wont answer the phone, I'm transferred from this line to the next only to be disconnected. I will never in this lifetime purchase anything from this company nor recommend them to anyone. What a rip off. They have ruined my credit with charges for something they've had all along. Ridiculous doesn't begin to describe this.

Within the last month I had the opportunity to visit New Orleans from Orlando with my partner to celebrate our birthdays and anniversary. During this time I had the pleasure of shopping in your store and was assisted on not one , but several occasions, by one of your sales associates Wes Romer. I cannot begin to tell you how utterly impressed I have been with him as your representative of Saks. I am a hospital executive and have over 400 employees under my own leadership/supervision. I could only ever hope that my staff could be seen to be of the professional caliber as Wes. He consistently demonstrated maturity, professionalism, extreme courtesy/congeniality, engagement, and patience as he assisted me on every occasion. I always knew I had his undivided attention. This also did stop with my return home. He assisted me with the purchase of yet 2 other items via long distance. Because of Wes I look forward to shopping in your store and online moving forward. I had recently discovered that my favorite fragrance was discontinued, so I was on a quest for a new signature scent that stood out from the rest of the hum drum options you find on the market. Normally not a Saks Fifth Avenue kind of guy, I was desperate, so I was open to new things. My wife and I went in and spoke with a few fragrance sales people with no luck when one of them pointed us in the direction of Tim, a mystical creature in the fragrance world who was said to have the knowledge of fragrance, a parfum abbot if you will. I spoke with Tim and with a meeting of the minds we were on our way. Striking out at first, Tim took my feedback and honed in on EXACLTY what I was looking for, a non-traditional scent one would not expect from a man appearing as I do. Time lead the way, visiting fragrance counter after fragrance counter until we had before us three selections of the most delicious nature! An evolution in my scent journey facilitated by this man Tim, a God among men!

I came in to get fitted for and purchase items. Maybe not dressed to the nines, but was looking for help to be fitted. Everyone was on their phone. It took about 5 or so minutes for someone to acknowledge me after asking to be acknowledged multiple times. They sent me upstairs and said to wait for Diane. I asked and so did my friend with me (again) multiple times for assistance and then we were told that the people had already left the department. I waited about 45 minutes between asking for assistance, and sitting down, shopping around for what I might have purchased- before they told me no one would be coming to assist me. I may have come in in yoga pants and a hoodie- but they need to get it together. I know it’s Saks- but the employees make the same wages (or more or less) than I do- and y’all need to leave the snobbery out of it. It should be about a higher level of customer service. Service work is service. You’re not above us.

BEWARE! Our purchases were STOLEN right from the Saks parking lot! Will never shop here again. Went in and made some purchases with my husband and family, left, went to eat, and parked back at Saks and went back in. We left our previous purchases in the car. 30 minutes later, came back out and someone had broken the window of our car and stolen all of our purchases and personal items and a gun! Right from the Saks parking lot that you pay premium money for! NOLA pd refused to come out and mall security seemed uninterested and said this has been happening a lot. There's ONE security camera in the parking lot! Don't think that this won't happen to you, because it will! Police and saks security are aware of the ongoing theft and they still don't have increased security or even more than one camera in the parking lot.

The second floor sales who’s name is Pepi she is rude. I bought Burberry cloth and pants. She charged me twice for the pants. And she wasted my time and she did not apology. She also not professional because she took my driver license to enter my personal information. When I said I don’t want to provide my email, her attitude turned to very rude. She made mistake but she did not want correct it immediately and her colleague apologized to me. Although I did not report her to her manager but she really ruined my day. Downstairs channel store is much better. Bought lovely bag and jewelry very delight and helpful. I should never buy things from her. Every time I ware it it will recall me stupid experience.

Saks is off the chain. Stopped in the Gucci store and spoke with Sondra Bib! She helped my wife get her Gucci style right. Then she introduced us to Nola Cayé restaurant that was fire!! Totally loved her vibe. Then we slid over and talked with Antoine Smith who is the brand ambassador for Killian. He put me up on Angel Share and On the Rocks. Then he made me buy a Bon Bon Box of NYC Bond #9! The most exhilarating buys because the vibe was real and they could've cared less if we purchased anything which made it seem more genuine to spend money there. This was all a part of my best times in New Orleans. Please be warned ⚠️ it's to us average people. Do whatever makes you feel good

One of the joys of buying perfume is the samples. I have a vice, a problem. I love perfume, toilette, cologne... you get the idea. Our purse strings don't have much room for indulging. Recently my husband gifted me a bottle from Creed that he physically went to the store to buy. I cried. Oh joy! Then I got to the other juicy bit the bottom of the bag to play with the........ nothing. Never in my depraved scented life have I encountered a bag completely devoid of samples. Not even online. Creed counter at Canal you should be ashamed of yourselves. I think I may need to return my lovely bottle and repurchase my gift from someone that understands the importance of the experience.

Will be very desperate to order from here again. I called several times to check on a returned item and was told several times that the item was not returned. I gave them my fedex return number and that Diane Taylor had signed for the item on December 22, 2021. It is now February 24, 2022. Outrageous amount of time for a credit to be posted to my account. They would not admit that the problem was on their end. I called on the 2/11, 2/14, 2/21, 2/22 and the 2/24 with no resolution. This was an item that cost me $495.00 that I ordered for a special wedding. Customer service is lousy. I just want a credit to my account so I can take my business elsewhere. Disappointed customer

Incredibly rude sales associates. Needed help and was unable to even have one sales person talk to me much less make eye contact. The only person who was kind and helpful was the young man working the Jo Malone counter. If you are dressed down because you’re trying to shop comfortably, you will absolutely be ignored. Clearly you have to go in with a personal assistant and be wearing branded logos boldly on your clothing or bag to be acknowledged. Just an FYI to sales people, judging a customer on their clothing is the fastest way to lose that sales commission. I will never step foot in this business again. Corporate needs to have training on customer service. Period.

Absolute total "BS" customer service. I had my wallet stolen Nov 28th. Big purchase was made by the person who took my wallet and cards. Called literally several times.....Their fraud department said they would call me back, but have never even tried!!!! I have never shopped at this specific store or stepped foot in it, in my entire life. Worst customer service I've ever delt with. All they do is push the issue off to another person. Absolutely the worse to deal with. Beware!!!!!!!! Then had the audacity to ask me for a survey through my email...... If I could give no stars I wouldn't hesitate

Please read Updated Review. Sales clerks very nice and friendly. I was looking for a formal dress but found the selection lacking. Update: My daughter suggested seeing Sales associate Kim who ordered several dresses for me to try on. Found the perfect dress for my Grandaughter's wedding. Kim went out of her way to be helpful. Alterations lady Dee did a perfect job alerting my dress in a timely manner. All was perfect for the wedding. Both ladies were helpful and very proffesional.

Incredible staff, incredible service!! I’ve been shopping here for years and I’ve always received great service. I called because I was coming in town and wanted to surprise my wife with shoes and a bag. Torea picked up the phone, and gave first class treatment. She picked out the right size, and organized the surprise for my wife. When we arrived, she had it gift wrapped and had champagne waiting! She and the staff were amazing, and we will continue to shop at Saks New Orleans!

I wanted to thank Matthew P. for his outstanding customer service. He went above and beyond to help me find what I was looking for. I called every Gucci place to try and find my wife’s gift but all the places I contacted were sold out!! Matthew texted me after hours so I would have a peace of mind that they had my wife’s gift in stock and that he would hold it for me when I got there in the morning. I will always ask for Matthew when we go into Saks Fifth Avenue in New Orleans.

Hit or miss. I only dealt with the back of house supervisors, but while several were helpful and friendly, but there was one who was angry and spiteful at me despite trying me best to accommodate them and their delivery schedule. I can only assume with the amount of packages they mail out that the front of house staff is more on point than that particular supervisor. They are located inside of a mall housing such luxury giants as Louis Vuitton, MCM, Tony Burch, Tiffany's, etc.

I recently attended a Saints game and deceived to purchase the Bond No. 9 Box. Well I just opened it and 2 of the fragrances were broken. I have been transferred 6 times, 6 different answers to my concern. Until finally I was sent to a line that hung up stating that line was disconnected. Plus I live no where near. Saks store. As long as I live I will never SHOP here again. A box of perfume that was almost $500. This is ridiculous.

I liked this Mall. It's not my price range and the food was awful, but I enjoyed the cleanest water in Tiffany and Co. It was worth going to and seeing clothing and purses I don't want to buy on my last day in New Orleans. Also food was not very good on the third floor. Lack of food options in Saks was surprising. You can do better. That side of Canal has no good food options in my opinion. I am picky with my food. Lol.

Kimmie, in Cle de Peau, is very knowledgeable of her skin care line as well as others. She takes the time to analyze my needs and works with me to make sure that I am happy with my products. I have been using Cle de Peau skin care for 6 months now. My skin looks healthier than ever. Thanks Kimmie for letting me try samples and always letting me know about upcoming promotions. Will cancel my credit card as soon as my return is issued. I had a issue and tried to contact customer service by phone. I called three times and held 30 min. each time. Never could reach anyone at all. Tried to go on line for help that did not work. Tried to call the local store and guess what no one ever answered the phone at all! With customer service like this I do not need a Sacks card.

Just fun (esp for first-timers like teens) to visit a big name dept store bc they're rare on the Gulf Coast. Disappointed there weren't any cruelty-free (C.F. or vegan) designer handbags, but there is NARS cosmetics, w/helpful staffer, offering color matching and being patient. They carry fur, a huge turn-off. The woman in sunglasses was friendly, as were most clerks we encountered.

It's only a place to shop for people who don't mind spending lots of money on exclusive items the average man doesn't have the money to aquire. Great place though. But who wants to keep spending large amounts of money on such small items like a shirt with a logo or just pants with just a logo. Definitely not for everyone.

I bought a $400 pair of shoes to realize once home and have a size 6 and an 8. I called and spoke with a salesman and he took my info and said he would call me back. I have not heard anything and I am going to coporate. Ridiculous and completely a joke. I have never had an experience like this at a high end store. Deal with your normal salesman at your home store.

I live in Calgary, Canada and this is the most beautiful and outstanding Saks I've ever set foot on. Last time I visited New Orleans was in 2014 I think and I enjoyed the great service there -- unlike the Saks store where I live which is very different to this stunning store. If I ever come back to NOLA, I'll visit this Saks again! Keep up the good service!

absolutely unprofessional. my parents, frequent costumers of saks, were there for their anniversary and were completely snuffed by the staff. waited to checkout for twenty minuets and after receiving no help and complaining, were told to leave. If you want to be respected not solely based on how your dressed or look, don't come here.

The staff is so delightful. They gladly indulge plebes like me playing around with all of the fancy perfumes and luxury items I can't afford. I love trying on all the fancy sale shoes and seeing all the stuff I drool over online in real life. Plus, I always go home with some perfume samples, so at least I can smell fancy.

This location is very upscale compared to the other Saks I have visited. I didn’t find any free parking around, so better use metered parking costing $1.50/hr for a max of 2 hours. I found very limited collection of the Saks brand compared to other private labels.

If you were looking for a high end department store with a great sense of style (even the men's suits are stylish), this is the place to go. I but my suits and ties from Saks because then I don't look like everyone else! I look great!

I went to Saks looking for a very specific fragrance. The staff was amazing and very helpful. I especially appreciated Timothy who showed me a line and product called Kilian Black that was incredible. Overall I was very impressed!
