I had one job. Bring a prepped leg of lamb for Christmas dinner to my family in Lakeville. I failed. Left it on the counter in Grand Rapids. It’s still sitting there as I wrote this review. Christmas dinner for 20 was temporarily ruined. Sentyrz market came through with aces in the hole. Not only were they open Christmas Day, they had a vast selection of meats. From prime rib to complete beef tenderloins. We went with a 6 lb filet. It was incredible!!! Thank you to all the employees who showed up today to make our Christmas dinner special! 5 stars for your stellar performance today!!!

This is the best neighborhood grocery store I have ever been in. It's not fancy, it's not pretentious, it's run and operated by people who live within walking distance. They've been around so long they offer beer/wine/liquor in an asle, not a separate store. Seriously, a decent bottle of liquor at a great price has been an impulse buy for me *at the check-out counter* multiple times! But the best part, by far, is their meat. I have yet to find a better price for the quality of cuts they provide anywhere in Nordeast! And their sausages?! Some of the best I have ever tasted in my life!

If you guys aren’t already going here, you really must. I’ll echo what some other folks have said on here: more places like this need to exist. They have a nice selection of everything, extremely fair prices, helpful staff, and a FULL liquor section (not a separate entrance), complete with local craft beers, ciders, and seltzers. And I’ll let you in on the best kept secret of the Twin Cities: you can put your groceries and liquor on the same belt and in the same transaction. It’s one of only two places in the STATE that has that capability. You have a customer for life, Sentyrz!!

You all should put up a sign saying that people have to wear a mask or no service. Don't tell the people of color they have to wear masks ,if you aren't telling everyone else to wear a mask. Then you will not have to explain every time to people to wear a mask. By the way it's not the law to wear a mask, it's an executive order to wear a mask. Make sure you have the right information,not some misinformed people telling people the wrong information. Just because we are people of color,we all are not uneducated , I will not be returning to your place of business anymore.

Awesome. They saved Christmas by being open. I told the manager and the clerks as much and they all responded graciously. "We don't mind," "Glad to be here for you," "It's not so bad. We have fun." Not with,"Yeah. Kinda sucks" or anything of that ilk. Very friendly and it made shopping there actually kind of fun. Added bonuses: I usually buy all my meat products from The Wedge. The Sentyrz butcher/deli really gave them a run for their money! EXCELLENT pork chops! 2) clean and 3) well organized. I plan on shopping there more regularly! Thank you so much, Sentyrz!

My work takes me to this neighborhood on a regular basis and I am very grateful to have Sentyrz available to pick up items for lunch. Great choice of Amy's vegetarian frozen entrees and good array of yogurts and beverages. Prices are reasonable. The mixture of the liquor and grocery stores (the last remaining one in Minneapolis) and the local community brings about an interesting vibe; mid-morning a customer may be picking up a dozen eggs and several tall cans of beer. Everyone, both employees and customers, are friendly and patient.

Oh man, more stores like this need to exist. It's like they go to other stores to find out what they don't carry and then order it to put on their shelves. Full deli, with butchery and slicing service, big bakery section, fresh fruit and veggies, and good prices. An entire cooler case dedicated to smoked cheese and meats, a cereal isle that feels like it's a city block long. It's the supermarket that would be in a cartoon. Service is nice and everyone that works there is sweet. It's an absolute gem of a store.

Well I went into the store to first be greeted by the horrible smell to start then on top of the things two out of three registers were closed. So which I am aware these things happen, so I proceeded to put the one bottle of water I was trying to purchase on the belt. The two women women working sat there and continued to have a conversation and did not say a hi hello one second nothing just kept talking like they are not at work and don’t need to ring me up just a very weird vibe would not recommend

Great small grocery store, with nearly one of everything that you'd need. Prices are fair and the brand selection is pretty good. They have a great butcher/meat area with great jerky, bacon, and a variety of steak cuts. It also has (gasp) a liquor store right inside with an excellent craft beer selection and well as liquor and wine. Many of the staff has been there for years and are quite helpful and friendly. Living close by, I frequent it multiple times a week. Great place.

Great staff, new stuff on sale every week, and great selection. I really love living within walking distance. I honestly can't think of a time I went here and had a bad experience, it is always quick and, unless it is around 5 or 6pm, I am rarely ever stuck in checkout. Their butcher shop is fantastic, just really amazing meat. I love that they can sell liquor too, much more convenient than going to a liquor store.

Every neighborhood should have a grocery store with a butcher shop that has close to 2 dozen different kinds of home made sausages, brats and kielbasa! Without question the best slab bacon you can buy!! Practically anything you wanna grill, they have it!!! Did I forget to mention the liquor store and the friendliest staff that makes this the perfect one-stop shop I'm proud to patronize on a consistent basis!!!!

Today my cashier went above and beyond to make she my service we quick and pleasant. She had to move me to another register to use my Apple Pay, she quickly gathered up my receipt and kindly asked another teammate to pause her task so that I was able to process my purchase on their register. I’m sure it was a bother to both employees but they were kind, thanks for being awesome like usual.

The highlight for me is the meat department. It's a Polish market so they have delicious house made sausages. It's a small business so you get to know the employees there. And of course they sell liquor in the same store, which is rare in MN. That's because they were "grandfathered in" before the liquor laws changed. The downsides are typical for a small grocery: higher prices and less selection.

Staff and store conditions were great but make sure sale items reflect on checkout. Went there twice now and each time there was a problem. 1st time sale item wasn't listed on item on the shelf. Stocker said it would reflect at register and it never did. 2nd time I grabbed an item that was marked buy one get one free and after checkout I was charged for both. Pay attention is all I'm saying.

This place rules. Meat counter is amazing; think stuffed chops, meatloaf, porketta, tons of in-house wings, brats and beef sticks. Great local food offerings, from spring rolls to pizzas. Full and diverse liquor and beer selection. Great month long deals on certain beers, wines and spirits. Local breads and buns. Smaller produce section but definitely carry a comprehensive basic assortment.

Great selection of wine and beer and super friendly staff. Great neighborhood store to get a few last minute items. They make their own sausages and highly recommend stopping there before grilling this summer. They also have bulk smoked pig ears for your pups!!! My wife and I LOVE this place!! Go in frequently and you'll start being treated like family at a Cheers Bar

It has all the small town grocery store charm in NE Minneapolis. I regularly buy whatever beef cuts I need and their brat selection is amazing. Plus you can load up on booze and groceries in the same transaction unlike anywhere else in the state because their liquor license is grandfathered in. I'd rather buy my groceries here than the chains in the area.

Gluten free bread in the freezer that rocks, excellent locally sourced selection on everything. Very inexpensive also now they have delicious dairy free cheese made from coconut oil. Really good melting n flavor did you know about their full service meat market and reasonable liquor store. Big variety of fresh in house made sausages bargains

This place is so great! They've got a *real* meat counter where they'll slice deli meat or cheese right in front of you. Also has an in-store liquor section, and a sommelier on staff. Speaking of staff, they are all very friendly and helpful. Wear your mask, though! They don't take risks with their customers' health. A+!

I have lived near sentyrz for the past 5 years and cannot underestimate how great sentyrz is. It is convenient, the service is great (they know their regulars and are always so friendly), they typically carry anything I’d need for a recipe that night. A northeast staple— And the store renovations/updates look great!

I've always appreciated and enjoyed going into this store. Always loved the?( community atmosphere. But today I came to the deli/fresh meat area and the guy behind the counter belittled us and weighed out more than we ask for. This is the very first time than I've ever had this kind of service at this time store. ,

A neighborhood gem! You can’t beat the convenience of being able to purchase essentials, groceries, and alcohol all in one trip. The deli counter is an unexpected bonus, and the customer service is consistently top-notch. I have never had anything short of an extremely positive experience every time I’ve visited.

I like the store and I love their homemade Polish sausage. The only problem I see is that it is extremely crowded and the Isles are too small and not enough room for check out. Otherwise the story is great the quality of assistance is great and the employees are excellent and very friendly and helpful.

I absolutely love Sentyrz Supermarket, they have an awesome market with super cheap prices. .. I always grab at least a half pound of their in house made beef jerky and they also have an amazing and growing selection of THC Seltzers / Sodas and liquor. It's only a shame that I live in south Minnie !

Neighborhood grocery/ liquor store (one entrance 1 exit) pay a little more to walk a little less. Be sure to check the clearance cart in the SE corner of the liquor area. Take advantage of their meat and deli area with their fresh and frozen sausages, streaks, and chops. Totally worth it!

Best little grocery/Liquor store in the city!! As opposed to what people say about “No Variety” they’re wrong! Tons of variety and products you won’t get anywhere else. A+ staff and service! Pro tip though, it’s not where you go to get your 2 weeks of groceries, that’s not their model.

Extremely convenient store for Noreasters. Excellent selection of products for a small place, including local food and drink products. Staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and recognizes regulars. Could use a facelift on the inside but I think that adds to the charm.

Sentyrz is a family place forsure. You can feel it, see it and hear it. I love the entire staff, they are all always so genuinely nice. I was so excited to move back to northeast for many reasons, but being a block away from here is like the best bonus ever! Thanks for all u do!

Water is a great guy the store has great customer service and also wonderful prices everybody keeps a smile on their face and they treat the customers just wright I would go back again and again don't forget to try the poppy seed pastries and blueberry Donuts they're delicious

Really, really fine, family owned neighborhood supermarket. Small place, but packed with stuff. Tommy always greets you with a smile and asks how you're doing. He's been working there for a while. And their weekly circulars always has the kind of stuff I like, on sale.

A very nice independent grocery store. They don't have everything on my shopping list, but they do have very nice vegetables and meat. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, especially the meat department manager. I will continue to shop here.

My favorite beer selection in NE, especially for craft in cans. Peter does an outstanding job curating the choices and is extremely helpful if you're looking for something specific. The sausages have no peers in the neighborhood. I love this place.

Great quick-stop grocery store in Northeast, with a grandfathered-in onsite liquor store (it's like we're in Wisconsin!), and the best cased meats deli in Minneapolis. I like it so much I've bought a wonderfully gaudy Polish pride shirt from them.

I'm always constantly amazed by this little neighborhood store. They have a ton of selection and their prices are fair. Often, I find they are less expensive than the big chains! A huge bonus for the neighborhoods surrounding this little wonder.

This is definitely a 1 stop shop! Prices are higher than your typical Cub but for the convenience I guess you can't complain. Plus they have a meat Dept with top quality cuts! 4/5 only because of the prices everything else was great!

I like this store I grew up northeast and it. Has been here sense I can remember , friendly and helpful staff on site butcher . prices a wee bit high on some things but all in all there fair ,.. Neighborhood fixture that's for sure

This is a very unique place to shop at. Staff is always friendly and the owner Wally is a really good guy. You can always find crazy new deals and stuff here. I definitely recommend shopping here as I have been since May of 2009.

Been coming here since I was a kid. Very very glad to see this place still opening. Its one of my go to places to buy groceries. Great staff, very friendly, and my favorite the iconic marlin fish. Never got tired of seeing that.

They've really upped their produce game. The staff is very helpful and friendly. They are small, so you cannot expect the store to have absolutely everything, but they have surprisingly good finds.

Christmas is coming so I just stopped at Sentyrz to get more poppyseed. This time I made a brioche dough and stuffed it with poppyseed and cream cheese. It was excellent!
