Took my 11yr old daughter here today for a wash and blow dry, immediately was serviced upon entering-2 up! Salon was neat, tidy, and predominantly Espãnol spoken. My Hair stylist was Yani, she was very nice and friendly. When I asked her about the costs for what I wanted and some other pricing potions, I decided to stick with what I initially went in for a wash and blow dry (budget friendly $45). I asked Yani if she uses the round brush method and she said "yes", I asked if debit cards were acceptable, another "yes"-cool! We proceeded with the hair-doo‍♀️ and I was totally satisfied with the end results Unfortunately, my two objectives were: Yani didn't use the round brush method I inquired about and #2 Yani failed to inform me that with debit or credit cards usage, there's an additional $1.50 surcharge, hence only a 3 star rating. I didn't want to exceed $50 but I did nonetheless, $66.50 hair-doo and service was good and I will be returning as my daughter didn't fuss or cry!!! Yani was gentle with her thanks, Yani. Tip: inform new clients of the store's c/c surcharge before services begin and make sure you understand EXACTLY what the client is asking you to perform. Thanks for reading my post ya'll

I went in for a simple wash and curl and left with my hair even worse than when I came in. I told my hairstylist exactly what I wanted and she proceeded to say ok and motioned that she understood me. I find out later that none of the ladies didn't speak English....like really? The hairstylist that was assigned to me acted like she understood everything I was saying. When she finished with my hair, it was literally a thick afro that didn't look like it had anything done to it. I was very annoyed and irritated and asked her to please fix it, straighten or curl it. She continued smiling and brushing my hair and said she was done. WHAT?! My hair looked a mess and she said she couldn't do anything to it. there were about 5 other stylists in there and they all were giggling and talking in Spanish, probably about me. If the hairstylist didn't understand English, she shouldn't have proceeded with my hair and acted like she knew exactly what I asked for. I still had to pay the $46 for a hairstyle that they messed up!! I will never be going back here and I will advise all of my friends to never try this place!! Horrible experience!

Not really pleased anymore went here to get my daughters hair cut in layers and the stylist saif at first that the cut i wanted for my daughter was not age appropriate.. I pick my daughters hair cut their job is to cut it how the customer wants it and to please the customer.. Well she still cut my daughters hair with less layers than i wanted and after she was done she said awww came out cute the reason i didnt want to cut it the way u wanted is because i dont know how to cut layers alot!! I stayed cold and question my self what kind of styless is she so i payed n left i rather go to some lady i know that shes very good cutting.. I didnt go to her because i was in a hurry for the hair cut due to my daughter had a banquet coming up. But next time i rather wait and not take the chance. The one i used to get the girls cut with here is yari she's good at it.. But she wasnt there that day i went.

Ive been coming to this salon for about 5-6 years and they are the only ones i let do my blowouts. Generally they do a great job but i came in days before christmas and left dissapointed .. i came in to get a couple of hair treatments some color and got a price and my hair was not worth the 85 dollars i paid. I was skeptical when my stylist (ada) wasnt there but still let another woman do my hair. I knew something was off when i only sat under the dryer for maybe 20 minues.and i normally sit for 45 minutes to an hour. She got my hair semi straight and it looked ok the color was fine since my hair was dark. But the moment i walked outside my hair turned into a poofy frizzy mess which isnt right my blowouts last for 2 weeks or more. This is the second time this has happened to me unfortunately. I would hate to find a new salon but i cant keep wasting money .

Horrible Service... IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I WOULD The stylist had an attitude for obviously personal reasons. I came in for a Shampoo/ blowout because I've visited this salon in the past & had a pretty okay experience. As of today, I will NOT be returning nor referring anyone to this unprofessional, below average, money hungry so called salon. The stylist handled my hair so roughly that I had to go purchase Neosporin to soothe my scalp and edges. After I asked the stylist if she could ease up several times, she became irate and demanded I pay her $40 for an incomplete wash & advised that a blow dry would be an additional $10. I literally left with a soaking wet head that still had shampoo in it. DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON !!!!

Will never return for several reasons 1. I went in after seeing the sign for a $15 roller set. When I was leaving the price was doubled without me knowing because my hair barely goes past my shoulders. 2. The roller set itself is HORRIBLE. While the "stylist" was rolling them, I could feel that they were looser than they should of been. The result is a hot mess that looks like I just got out of the shower. 3. They talked to each other WAY too much. It took a long time because the lady kept stopping to continue her conversation. Besides talking across a large space into your ear, they were constantly on their cell phones which made it difficult to communicate what you wanted. All in all, horrible salon. I want my money back.

BAD ADVERTISING!!! THIS PLACE CONSTANTLY SHOWS IMAGES OF CHILDREN HOWEVER WHEN YOU WALK IN WITH LITTLE BLACK CHILDREN THEY TELL YOU THEY WILL NOT SERVICE KIDS. **READ THEIR WEBSITE. THERE'S NO MENTION OF THE FACT THAT THEY DO NOT DO CHILDREN'S HAIR. FYI: "HOME OF $15 SHAMPOO ME" ONLY APPLIES TO THEIR HISPANIC COUNTERPARTS. ONCE YOU READ OFF THE PRICE MENU, IT CLEARLY STATES $15 FOR ANYONE WHO DOES NOT HAVE "COURSE NATURALLY CURLY OR PERMED" HAIR!!

They do a good Job! They will sit and talk about you thinking you dont understand them . I act as if I dont. The Big girl is very ruff when combing your hair. She doesnt understand to comb from bottom up. She will rip all of your hair out. All hair isnt the same. Some have course, tangled hair. Start from the BOTTOM and comb up! Otherwise Great job on the blow out and for the most part everyone is lovely!

Went to this salon recently and I didn’t even stay to get my hair done...I got up and left after kept waiting for the lady to do my hair...they were just walking about and chatting with each other...constantly checking phone messages and loud chatting across clients...I rather spend my money with people who care about their clients!!! CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!! Awful

This is a dominican salon trying to do black hair. They roller set good but that is it. They don't attend black hair shows. Their knowledge is limited. I am an African American stylist. We talk about our competitors. Knowledge is power. Your knowledge is limited. My clientele know African American Stylists can do the same thing. Also there is a language barrier. I have been to this salon.

Highly recommend I like everyone there yanny mar I'm not sure if I spelled it correct but she is amazing she tells you everything about your hair asks questions and they treat your hair nice not rough at all I'm natural an I go to these ladies an I never have a problem with them servely tugging and being rough with my hair & ladies the prices are really reasonable

I've been going to this place for the last 13 years. They do everything hair color, perms, relaxers, and even dealing with natural hair. If they are not busy they can get you out in 2 hours but the minimum is 3 hours unless you super short hair. Their prices are good I get a wash roller set and blow out and it's only $60 and that's with below shoulder length hair.

I have been to several Salons in Tampa and Shampoo Me Salon by far is the BEST around. The new owners have changed the atmosphere and customer service 100% for the better. The Salon has been given a fresh face lift and the owners show a real concern for the comfort of the customers. When I went under the dryer, they offered me coffee and cookies - nice touch.

I went into shampoo me because I needed my ends cut and I wanted long layers, i came home crying after spending 120$ and it's been one month and I'm still so disappointed. I asked for long layers and got what looks like chopped straws. If there was a zero star I would definitely choose it.

Stress can do some serious damage on hair, walking into the salon with much known neglect, wasn’t sure how I was gonna explain the breakages. To my surprise there was no need to, the ladies were very welcoming, attentive and kind. Getting so many compliments on my hair. Thanks so much!

I finally found a great salon on how to deal with my hair and my daughter's, which is worse than mine. I will take the trip to come here for sure. They were very up front about their pricing and didn't try to rob us like other places would. I am so excited to have found this place!

We travel from Orlando just to get our hair done here it’s teasonable but yet based on healthiness my mom is Denise and she get my natural hair wash and straighten they have it so beautiful and straight and mom and grandma hey relaxers and black rinse and roller sets so beautiful

They provide quality service and are very knowledgeable. Although English Maybe their second language for some do not let that deter you they speak English and they strive to do their best and I have always been pleased the several years that I have gone there. Check them out.

First time we went there they washed my grandsons hair...no easy feet his hair is all the way down his back, but they did a great job. Second time was my turn. Got a relaxer, conditioner and style... very very nice. Thank you... will be back in a few weeks for a touch up.

i really love this salon, they have really good prices, and they open late on saturday. highly recommend these dominican ladies here. You wont waste your money...Great choice. They get my hair so straight and they offer good prices on their protein and deep conditioners.

I always come here, sometimes with my daughter as well to get our hair straightened. They always do a great job. They get your hair bone straight and know how to manage very curly thick hair without damaging it with chemicals! Very nice ladies as well!

I went there yesterday and they were very friendly but i am natural and i woke up and my hair does not look like it has been done i have had blow outs before so i know how to wrap and maintain it but for whatever reason mine did not hold

I can attest that this salon will do wonders to your hair. My hair is hard to stay straightened due to the humidity. However, when they did it, it lasted way longer than I expected. The money is worth it.

I called simply to get a price for getting my hair styled. The person I spoke to was rude and hung up the phone on me. They just lost a potential customer due to their attitude. Please try somewhere else.

This is my go-to for a wash and set. They leave my curly hair silky straight. Now to be fair they use a lot of heat so kindly warn your stylist and don’t shy away from damage treatments, they add a lot.

I used to love coming here. However, it's a hit-or-miss experience base on the hairdresser. I find some take their time to wash, blow, and part your hair. Other than that, I like the walk-in service.

These ladies did a wonderful job on my hair. They did everything from a full color and low lights, cutting, and styling. I was very happy with the results and will be going back.

Went here for a full head of hi and low lights, got over processed and fried my hair badly…spent almost $300 just to have to chop all my hair off…never again!
