"The Staff are nearly always helpful and friendly though I do agree with some of the other comments about the poor stock and scope of books available"
"Not great"
"A bland interior design, relative to similar caliber libraries in London"
"Impossible to study , I have been here 2 days and there was drama both days , people won't shut up and treat it as a coffee shop , a disgrace a spot to hang out for broke people , I think they need a metal d rector at the entrance that would be useful "
"The worst library I have ever used"
The Staff are nearly always helpful and friendly though I do agree with some of the other comments about the poor stock and scope of books available. Sadly it is also very noisy at times, which goes unchecked - the study areas are no exception. I dont think the Design was well thought through.
Not great. Good selection of books and computers to use net. Anybody is walking in off streets coughing aloud-having loud telephone calls etc etc. Load of rubbish. Another guy in there was shaking his head trying to study as some drunk sort was in there coughing guts up. Load of nonsense.
A bland interior design, relative to similar caliber libraries in London. However, it's an island of calm in the bustling Shepherd's Bush. Great library to sit down and read that blockbuster or get to grips with that intriguing White Paper. Highly recommended.

The worst library I have ever used. I’m born and raised in this area and am appalled how basic this library is. Poor selection of books, CD’s and DVD. Bad design and layout of the building when there was a chance to create something iconic
It's a nice place, available computers for use, books to borrow, you don't need to register, to you computers, staffs are friendly, it's on entrance of Westfield shopping centre that habours WH Smith and post office, amongst other stores.
Very modern, streamline and full of large signage to direct you round the spaces, drawing your attention to partnership services and guiding you through automatic book / dvd drops. There are drinks machines, a photo lD booth and numerous
Nice Library but the quite area is not really quite. You can hear kids shouting and screaming from the ground floor, the automatic doors opening at all time are noisy and it's really difficult to study or focus. In addition to that there
It's horrible. Small and cramped not as big as the photos people.have posted on Google reviews. The study areas are limited, and packed during school holidays. Also, I think they have a lot of crimes here (based on all the notices about
Shepherd’s Bush public library is a gem nestled in the heart of the community. This welcoming space offers a plethora of literary treasures and resources catering to all ages and interests. The knowledgeable and friendly staff foster an
Open for COVID testing. Had to queuefor a little while but no more than about 20mins. Really friendly and professional staff from security to the person showing where to sit and the tester. I could see tables and chairs being cleaned in
I think that I said (but don't quote me) that it is easy to fall in love with a library. The library that I was referring to was Notting Hill both functional and cosy. But I have not spent any time reading or surfing the Net in Notting
There is too much noise - not a great environment to study in + there is no space to study, everything is crowded!!! During my visit, all I could hear was a bunch of people singing and and kids playing with random toys. Kids shouting,
Great Library with lots of amenities, books, computers, toilets, designated children area, amazon parcel pick up, coffee, drinks, Passport Photos and photocopying machines. Really quite when i went to study, comforatable and warm.
amazing library they have everything from kids books to computers scanners and printers. staff are fantastic. used computers as a guest and got my card instantly and some books for my 1 year old and all on christmas eve. amazing
The library is now transformed into a Covid Testing Centre where you can book a test or purely walk in to have it. There aren't any queues. Staff is very professional and friendly. The result is messaged to you in 45 minutes.
nice library but... too noisy..disrespectful people speaking on the phone, mentally-ill people speaking out-loud, or KIDS shouting and screaming on the ground-floor makes it quite hard to focus / study. really disappointing.
I love this library since I got to know it. I normally spend time by doing intense study while waiting for my friend It is perfect quiet location to pop-up to the shopping centre straightaway after being calm …
Ok library, not enough books available, if you want to do research this is wrong place to be, I once asked if they have books for medicine related research all they could recommend was basic science books.
Horrible place, not a library. If you seat next to the window you freeze. People use the ground floor as Costa coffe, people eat, laugh, chat. Internet ridicously slow. It looks an hospice for homeless.
it would be good if there were more places to sit and study, but since it is a small library it has trouble doing that, it makes it even worse considering it is nearly almost full for most of the time
Nice library however there aren't nearly enough seats for everyone. The print-outs cost 20p for black and white or a pound for colour which is fairly pricey. The staff are very polite and helpful.
Great service provided by very kind library staff. I was helped and taken good care of with an excellent advise and free copy of a list of authors of my interest. Thank you library staff :)
SMALL BUT VERY HI-TECH LIBRARY Only until recently, FREE Westfield WiFi is not reachable, otherwise, if you're residence of H&F borough, you must have Library Card to access the WiFi and
Lovely, very spacious clean and has tasteful decor. Staff are also very friendly. Good selection of books for adults and children. They also have computers and printing services.
The filing system is not logical. History books should include historical bios rather than putting them in the bio section! Book selection could be enlarged and improved.
Excellent library. Have been a long time member for almost 20 years. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Lots of computers and easy to get access on. Self service kiosk.
Very lovely and friendly staff, nice environment but can be a bit noisy sometimes, as well the connection is a bit iffy at times.
I turn up, yesterday at 16:45pm library was close with the not open 10:00am to 17:00pm, I thought the web site could have tis
Staff have attitude issues, relax you work in the library, stop trying to find ways to be authoritative. Basic vicinities.
there are people who talk really loudly in this library and staff tend to do nothing about it. not great for studying
Great place to study, upstairs is good for bringing a laptop and needing a bit more space for books
Really Good Libarary, lots of table available and upstairs there are computer that can be used
Brilliant food n coffee an staff r well up 2 standard brilliant quick service
Can be a little slow and did not have Donegal when needed
Very helpful staff, kind considerate, fast and efficient.
As a student-tourist, I totally love this place.
It's nice and clean and staff very helpful
Nice small sized library.
