"One of my favorite if not my favorite coffee establishment"
"Great place to work - big, open, friendly space, with lots of tables"
"This is the best kept secret in Minneapolis"
"This place is such a cozy spot to curl up with a book or some work you might have"
"If you want a welcoming environment and you’re a person of color, this is not the place for you"
One of my favorite if not my favorite coffee establishment. The service are very relational and very fast with your order. Location and atmosphere are top notch. There's almost always seating available. Highly recommend. Update: Nothing but stellar service from Sisters' Sludge. Highly recommend. More
Great place to work - big, open, friendly space, with lots of tables. Good sandwiches (including waffle sandwiches) and beer selection. Espresso drinks are not it's strength, but still okay. An ideal place to work and have a snack or a beer in the afternoon or evening.
This is the best kept secret in Minneapolis. Go enjoy the coffee house vibe with an open and bright space to work in. Then go unwind on the bar side and enjoy the more mellow vibe. South Minneapolis is very lucky the sisters moved to this side of town!
This place is such a cozy spot to curl up with a book or some work you might have. The baristas have always been so incredibly welcoming and kind when I have visited. They handcraft your drinks, so keep in mind if you’re looking for a quick
If you want a welcoming environment and you’re a person of color, this is not the place for you. Bar worker (older women) was VERY rude to me and my friend. We have been here multiple times and this is the first time we have been harassed.
The worse coffee shop. Please don’t go if you don’t drink alcohol. We’re force to buy something even though they don’t service coffee after certain hours that we didn’t know about. The only have alcohol and we don’t drink. After sitting 15
A lovely shop to get coffee in the morning, or a great glass of wine in the evening. Their selection is amazing and there’s not a bad wine on the menu. Cheese plate is delicious and extremely satisfying. Plus, they host drag shows on their
I liked Sisters' Sludge just fine at their old location, but I didn't visit them any more than other local coffee shops. Their new location (and new.. je ne sais quoi?) is TRULY FANTASTIC. Their staff are incredibly friendly, they know how
This sweet little bar and coffee shop makes for a great place to meet friends, waste a little time, or enjoy a delicious drink. Their light snacks are also very well put together and their espresso shot varieties are varied and delicious.
A semi-modern atmosphere - bar seating, cushion chair seating, and table seating. This is one of those places where the cafe and wine bar are separate. Unfortunately, the bar seating in Cafe area is where the servers suits the orders for
I have tried Sisters' Sludge twice for their coffee. I strongly advise to stay away from their cold coffee drinks entirely and order a hot drink. The espresso is made beforehand and chilled in a container. This makes the coffee extremely
It was a bit expensive and confusing at first but what coffee place isn't am I right. The service was good and I'm the product was good. It was just a little pricey. They have some cool unique items that I liked. I would try it again More
Great great great place I like to enjoy with my parents! Amazing coffee amazing food and ABSOLUTELY AMAZING service ! The sisters are so kind and are so considerate of the people they hire! I’ve never had a bad experience here! I highly
The coffee and community is just wonderful. They make lovely kids cocoa with lots of whip cream and sprinkles, low temperature so as not to burn a toddlers mouth... They make it a fun special trip to bring out daughter here. The bar has
Visiting Minneapolis, and found this place close to our Airbnb. Their salty dog was amazing. Dark chocolate, caramel and salt. Not powerfully sweet- think slightly veering to a savory hot cocoa. I usually stick to a vanilla latte as any
Myself and a friend came here and had a bad experience I have not ever experienced that before I was embarrassed of this lady actions I am a brown skin woman that has been before and never experienced this she stated she would call the
We haven't had a chance to visit the wine bar half of it yet, but the coffee half of it was really nice. It's got high ceilings and a somewhat industrial vibe to it, and their menu is jam packed with interesting sounding stuff. I am a
I was excited to find a quiet place on a sunday to do work, however the service was terrible and the coffee even worse. The baristas did not acknowledge us when we came in, and it was incredibly uncomfortable trying to order and ask
Fantastic place for getting your daily coffee, or your nightly alcohol fix. They have an excellent ambience both indoor seating and outdoor seating. Of course no indoor option due to the virus but its still very causal and homey.
Love studying/working here during the day and getting a glass of wine with friends at night! The rotating wine selection is great. The bartenders are knowledgeable and kind, they make you feel right at home. More
Sisters' Sludge new location is wonderful! Great open spaces with lots of comfy couches, and plenty of workspace. All of the drinks are great, from the standard espresso to the specialty shots.
Best coffee in America(thus far). We visited on our way down through oregon on a massive road trip and I can honestly say this is the best coffee I have had outside of Europe. Thank you!! More
Cozy as heck. Alcoholic drinks are overpriced. But this has not been a good time to run a coffee spot. An electric fireplace and a bar to hangout at. Great if yr a misfit like me. More
Nice neighborhood coffee shop. Good coffee and sandwiches, lots of seating. Friendly staff, and a great place to spend an hour chatting with friends. Parking is mostly on street. More
Always the best. I come here all the time and I’m never disappointed. They even know my favorite order which makes me feel like I’m coming to a friend’s place. More
I’ve worked in coffee and with roasters for 6 years, I stopped in on a trip from Boston and this is some of the best Cold Brew I’ve ever had. Highly recommend More
Coffee is decent and not too outrageously priced. Great little sidewalk seating, indoor tables and couches, two single-person bathrooms, very casual vibe. More
Best hot coco I’ve ever had! Spent 3 hours there pitching a graphic novel to a college friend and it felt like something out of a movie. Fantastic vibes
We had a very good experience when we stopped in on our way to MSP. Great wine menu, delicious food and friendly service. Beautiful local art. More
I go here all the time, about once a week, for a dark roast coffee and a latte. Great, friendly place. Americanos here are also good.
Great breakfast sandwiches and coffee! Staff is really friendly too. Will definitely be back.
