It's not much of a viewpoint. You're just on the bridge, although you'd have to walk up towards the middle of the bridge. Although either time of day is a nice view, at night is a better view. As other pictures suggest but we went early in the morning so it was still a nice view. I'd suggest going elsewhere. Parking is limited, we parked on a side street at the bottom of the bridge.

I love coming here it’s so beautiful to enjoy the afternoon and be able to see my beautiful city of Chicago. Recommend coming here at night so you can see the beautiful colors of the city.
